I am new here and want to extend my greetings to y'all.
I am a complete newbie and have searched the forum but couldn't find anything closely related to my question:
I have a Droid Incredible flashed for StraightTalk. Everything works fine so far except for Whatsapp. One can send texts without problems, but when trying to upload a picture, I get error messages.
When choosing camera, after taking a picture "Share a file failed, please try again".
When choosing from the gallery, "Preview image failed, please try again" on all pictures.
Now, first of all, does this have anything to do with the fact the phone is flashed for StraightTalk or is this completely independent?
Are there any solutions out there (I am sure there are but maybe noone has had the nerve yet to deal with this issue)...
Would appreciate your help on this...thanks!

I have a Droid Incredible flashed to ST but I can't seem to figure out the internet settings. I thought it would be like PagePlus settings, but I guess I was wrong. If anybody knows what those settings are please share. As far as pic mail goes try using Go SMS Pro, it's what I had to use on my Incredible on Boost Mobile.

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S running Criskelo v75 Rom. I recently ordered Bell's mobile variety package through the Bell self serve app. I noticed then that my Rom didn't have the stock TV & Radio app. After doing some digging I finally found the apk, but any time I try to use it, I'm thrown an error reporting a problem connecting to the service, reinstalled many times. When I try to change the account info, I'm thrown an error saying there was a problem logging in using the credentials provided. I can log in with the exact same credentials on the website.
Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? Or am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated!

I am having nearly the same problem, but I have an HTC Wildfire S, and my data plan includes 10 hours of mobile TV free. The app came with the phone, but I get errors or the message, "the content is not available at this time".
I have a D1 from VERIZON and I am using MIUI ROM. LOVE IT !!!, but I want to use the visual voicemail that verizon offers. I cant seem to find the app they use. HELP PLEASE, I am paying for the service, but cant use it.

I had that problem on most ROMS I flashed but bc I have a google voice account started using that and works better for me than the providers visual vmail. I get the same effect and also read the voice mail. You might want to search for a file that adds the app back like I've done on many ROMS, dont have verizon, have Sprint so should be something out there for it.
Verizon Visual Voice Mail
Trying to get this app installed and having issues.
Have a rooted GS4.
Running a custom Rom.
Downloaded the Verizon Visual Voice Mail.apk into my SDcard, in the root, and tried to copy and past it, cut and past it using ES File Explorer into the System/App directory of the device, and keep getting permission denied.
Any suggestions?

I got a phone from Korea, LG Optimus LTE (LU6200). I think this phone was made only for korea, Although I was able to use it here in the Philippines on every network. My only problem on this phone is, Every SMS I receive will show "Anonymous" as the sender (no number or name) even though the phone number is saved on my contacts.
I tried using other sms app like Go SMS and Handcent, its still the same. No problem when people call me, their name will show or phone number. So all my text messages is pilled up under the name anonymous from different sender.
Has anyone has the same problem? do you have a fix?

I kept trying different setting under *#*#4636#*#* regarding the network type under phone info but with no luck. can't seem to get the phone to save the smsc(service number) either. I can send text messages with no problem but all my received messages are from anonymous.
It's really annoying cause I love this phone so I'm hoping I'll find a fix sometime soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Oh yeah...forgot to say...I'm using it in Romania. everything else works just fine...

hey danny, If you have the same phone LG LU6200 Optimus LTE, SMS problem has been fixed, Anonymous being displayed to all received messages. All you need to do is to upgrade to Ice cream sandwhich.. The new updated fixes anonymous issue, also character limit when sending sms ( you have to use third party app, i use Go sms).. A lot has been improved from the update. The phone got nice Home screen too. I also like the phone, it's fast and slim.
go to dalelisyoso.blogspot.com just look for the article optimus lte ala ice cream sandwhich, you will find the link there.
the page is in Korean so you may need to use a page translator.. if you use google chrom it should ask you to tranlate it in english.

Thanks for the virtual beer. hehe. Mine is not yet rooted, by the way did you know that you can install non market app even if the phone is not rooted.. just to share. I was also very frustrated before with that anonymous problem, im glad i was able to help. cheers.

hey buddy.i got this phone quite good indeed buy a strange problem just for a sudden my naetwork sugnal goes and then appears.is that mormal and also same anonymus problem should i change the rom or just update it.desprately waiting for the reply.....thnx in advance

I have a Tmobile MyTouch 4G Slide rooted with Bulletproof Blue 61X. I will admit I am rather ignorant to this "rooted" smartphone stuff, but I do have a few issues:
1. Mainly, GOOGLE SEARCH DOES NOT WORK ON THIS PHONE!! I even downloaded the google search widget and that doesn't work either!! I type in what I'm searching, tap the screen or hit enter, NOTHING HAPPENS. The Tmobile quick lookup icon doesn't work, when I hit enter, I get the "The application Quick Lookup has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" window. I cannot connect to the internet at all, yet my facebook app works.
I just bought this phone from someone and I'm ready to track them down and get my money back!!
2. I cannot set up any other email on my phone other than Gmail. Once again the set up icon doesn't work either. I hit the "other email account" button, absolutely nothing happens!
3. I also have issues with certain widgets that were functional on my previous my touch
I contacted T-Mobile and was told that software version 1.28.531.9 is the problem. How do I change this when the phone won't connect to the web to receive the update?
PLEASE HELP...I am utterly frustrated.
First off don't talk to tmobile about a rooted phone, they're cluless. Without bothering to trouble shoot everything the quick fix is to just wipe fully and flash a new rom

Thank you, so basically I can restore the phone to its original version? The Tmobile rep actually called HTC for me, the HTC rep was the one who informed us that the software version 1.28.531.9 was problematic.
Well htc won't be any help either as they will only give help and support to offical software. Which on the doubleshot is not the best. Stick with a custom rom if you want real close to stock yet better there are a few to choose from, you'll find all the info in the developers section on what roms are avalible as well as instructions on how to flash if you're unfimiliar

Just wondering if anyone could give me a hand with this problem im having at the moment. Ive been trying myself fort abit and thought maybe some fresh eyes could help me out
i recently flashed my Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus (GT-S7852) but since ive done that; i cant log into Pokemon Go. ill go to sign in and the PKMN Go app does its thing where it switches/Opens your Androids saved google accounts (I Think thats right?) but its only a split second, then switches back to PKMN Go and loads for roughly 2-3 minutes and then comes up with the error "Unable to authenticate Account; Please try again'"
Does this have anything to do with the GApps/framework/etc... or something along those lines? Any help would be appreciated
