Chainefire 3d for flash - T-Mobile LG G2x

I installed chainfire 3d and I am telling u guys when playing Bejeweled blitz on Facebook and g+ its so much better. Fyi all
Nvidia always!

Just installed it myself based on this post. Definitely noticed a huge difference in gaming. Antutu and Quadrant scores are much higher as well. It'll tell you during the install but I will let you know right now in case someone is "next" or "ok" happy...make a backup first!

You can uninstall the driver too! I only noticed a true difference with flash. Even on my prime it makes flash enjoyable
Nvidia always!

Is there a link where I can download it for the.g2x
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk

It's in the market.

Once u download it, open it up and install the driver. Nothing else needs to be done for it.
If u can try playing Bejeweled blitz from the desktop version on Facebook or g+ . Try without chainfire and then with
Nvidia always!

I notice a big difference, thank you for posting this.

Grand Theft Auto III now available in Android Market (may support our device).

As announced earlier,Rockstar Games has released GTA III in the Android Market today. Available now for $4.99, it works on select Android devices, mainly those running on NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, although company is promising a TI OMAP supported version soon, which will work on devices like Galaxy Nexus.
Games Features via Market Description:
Visually stunning updated graphics, character and vehicle models
HD quality resolution
Gameplay optimized for touch screen devices
Custom controls for the mobile platform
Countless hours of gameplay
Gamepad Support for select USB controllers
since,gt-i9003 uses T1 OMAP chipset,so i believe it will work on our device.
Tried to install the apk today, and got "There is a problem parsing the package." message.
not sure if its because of the chip or because i'm still running stock froyo that came with the phone "FROYO.JPKC2" (2.2.1) (arabic version).
If there is anyone who tried the game with gingerbread or a custom rom, please share if its working, and if it requires chainfire, etc,
thanks guys
The game is starting but crashing now trying cf3d

does droid 3 use the nvidia chip? if not, you and the others that are testing the version of the game intended for nvidia are seeing that you should wait for the omap version, as OP stated
New version (1.1) supports PowerVR and works in our device (no FC after intro), but the game is slow, especially when you're driving a car. I have tried reducing textures and quality on chainfire, but doesn't improve too much.
I am on KPQ and CF-root without OC, you can try with UC OC, and will post here the results.
Holy cow!,this game runs awesome on uc v6 and xkpq, just tested it,guess what it runs faster than my brother's i9000

Just delete the sound folder and it will run smooth

pls tell guys, u have sound while playing gta3?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20442379&postcount=1
i playing like xplay enjoy guys
My download stopped about halfway through, and when i opened it again, surprise surprise, it worked!! with no sound tho :S
the graphix are pretty smooth and the controls are very responsive, however the FPS drops a little with sharp turns or quick view changes, still quite playable.
I'm on stock froyo without chainfire 3D or any custom kernals.
Update: The download was corrupted as the memory card became full and save games are corrupted. Perhaps the sound files were never downloaded in the first place.
Without audio it works like a charm..

(Q) GTA3 working on Charge

Anyone have GTA3 from market working on their charge?
Mine downloaded fine but then just sits at a black screen the goes back to launcher after about 5 seconds.
I'm running infinity 1204

Sorry to say, but our Samsung Charges don't have the nVidia Tegra 2 that GTA3 for Android was built around... You're SOL man. Might still be able to refund your purchase and get yourself a PSP. All jokes aside though I did the same thing and looked it up after. Only phones with the chipset Tegra 2 can operate GTA3.
Have you tried using Chainfire 3D?
Sent from my SCH-I510 using xda premium
Tried with Chainfire, no luck. Chainfire emulates Tegra's decoding and processing, but can't emulate its hardware, IIRC, so some games (Riptide GP) work perfectly, some games (Galaxy on Fire 2) are glitchy as hell but playable, and some (well, this) just don't work at all.
There's some people without tegras workings. Just depends I guess.

There may be hope. I was poking around in the Galaxy Tab forums (I have one, plus it has the same CPU and GPU). lo and behold, I found the same thread there. One person said this:

Might be good news:
I found out through LogCat that the problem might lie within the PowerVR SGX540. Which is in fact the same GPU as the Galaxy Nexus, in which Rockstar states will fix soon. So yeah, it should work, just wait a bit for an update.

Still not working for me after the update
It worked for me after the update, however, the game lagged pretty bad and eventually froze. It didn't FC, it eventually came back but it wasn't playable. I haven't tried it again since.
So after uninstalling GTA3, I am not unable to re-install it. The Market claims my device in not compatible with it. How did I download it before then??? Any ideas here?

This sums it up for me, our poor Hummingbird can't keep up
Still worth the $3, it's nostalgic, and good to keep for a future more powerful device

(Q) is there any ICS ROM can play HD games?

if try many ICS ROM and many kernel, but there are no one can play my SplinterCellHD more than 5 minutes, it always said 'unfortunatrly blah.. blah.. blah'
any idea for this case?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Slim ICS + Trinity Kernel + over clock!! Should do the trick!!
Greetzz, Jojoost.
Sent form my awesome ICS powered Nexus S
They can all play HD. You just need to install chainfire3d driver and you'll be good to go.
thanks for the answere, ill try to install chainfire first.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Using CM9 4.0.3 v2.1 with Air kernal 2.9 (200-1100, lulzactive(stock setting)/sio).
No FC when playing HD games, some games even dont need Chainfire 3D to run.
But it drains my battery
Anyway..there is no error of HD games with CM9
Try it and hope it works on you!
Um... a low available RAM is it's reason, isn't it?
I use a Ram manager PRO, setting ram manager pro Hard gaming, I play HD games and there isn't FC
and my phone's is CyberGR 7 + Air 3.0!
Make sure to install the driver after you install the chainfire app. Once phone reboots you should be good.
I already try all this methods, try to use chainfire and driver install on it, slim ICS, Trinity kernel, overclocked, ram optimation, all are still have same problems. But the longest time I can play its while I'm try to stop common application that running in background, so I think its a RAM problems.

I will test. thanks
These games are not in HD gameloft calls all their nexus game HD...480x800 is not HD resolution
You don't need chainfire unless your using adreno or tegra version of the game and u already stated u can play for up to 5 mins
And u don't need a particular rom or kernel
If was a ram issue you would see performance degrade over the course of gameplay(lower fps stuttering...ect) before is actually crashes
Could be corrupt data.
delete all the content in gameloft folder for game on SD card
Start up the game and re download game data.
pirated version it could be old version not optimised for ics
Or could be trying to do a licence check and when it can't verify it boots u from game
Edit
splinter cell isn't even listed on game loft website for nexus s.

The Dark Knight Rises not working (resolved)

Anyone else having any problems with this? It boots up alright (most of the time) but flickers and crashes when gameplay begins. tried it on hydro and cm 10... any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks team!

Give the app: ATP Tweak (version 7) a shot:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1735887
(Download, then go down to the second post and make sure your app is set up the same way.)
I was having problems with The Amazing Spiderman and this helped.
If you are still having trouble, I would suggest the app: "Ram Manger Free/Pro" and select aggressive gaming option, and then the app: "AutoKiller Memory Optimizer" and hit memory reclaim until your Free Ram is above 500. I also noticed that setting my ASUS setting to powersaving mode helped (perhaps its placebo, but thats what i do before i play big games like, NOVA 3, Modern Combat 3, etc)
Goodluck
I peeked in the market and there are similar reports with various transformer models so there might not be help for this one.

GTA Vice City

Hey guys,
Whenever I go to this in the play store it wont let me install and I get the following message:
"You're Device isn't compatible with this version."
Anyone managed to install vice city on their tablet?
Works on mine running stock.
Hmmmm really? Which firmware are you currently running?
Latest stock for the 16gb wifi. If you can't see it restore it from a titanium backup from another device.
hmmm managed to get it installed but a bit disappointed with the performance, maxxed out its very low fps. Same for everyone else?

Sent from my SCH-I605 using XDA Premium HD app
I have the SGP321 running CM10.2. VC runs awful, extremely low fps, diashow. I think the GPU runs at a low frequency, becuase in asphalt 7 the tablet uses approx 1.5 times as many power as displayed in cooltools. Has anybody a fix for that? Or how can I manually set the GPU frequency?
I contacted Rockstar about this game asking for them to add the device to the compatibility, after providing them with the device info they said they would be investigating, that was on the 11 August though.
I have ended up obtaining the game using other methods (silly having to since I paid for it) and it does play perfect on max settings on my tablet.
