Hi,
I do not like the Kindle's line spacing. It is ridiculously wide.
On my Galaxy Note (same Kindle app) the line spacing is much denser and you can change it there.
Can anyone explain why on the Galaxy Tab the line spacing cannot be changed. Or is it possible? Am I just too stupid to do it?
Thanks!
S
I haven't been able to find a line spacing setting in the kindle app either. In Google Books its located in the font (aA) settings but with kindle this only lets you set font size and nothing else.
Right, that's my experience as well, but on my Galaxy Note I can choose 3 different line spacings. And it is the same App as on the Plus.
This is really annoying. Why is that the case, because of the different android versions?
@kzoodroid
Would you agree that the lince spacing is very wide or is it me being silly?
Yep, Amazon added the line spacing option for 'phones' recently, it appears the application is treating it as a tablet and not allowing for margins and line spacing. Pretty frustrating, I can get nearly as many words on the page on my GSII as I can w/ my Tab7+.
@jonsoini
Yes, same with my Galaxy Note, I get more words on the smaller screen than on the Plus. I hope they will change that as the spacing is really ridiculously wide.
Hi y'all
I have a little issue with an app Vodafone NL made for whatching TV via tabs and mobile.
It has been made for tab 10.1 only and askes for a resolution of 1280x800.
Now i have a galaxy note 2, and my girl has a galaxy note 10.1, on none of them the app works..
Now i'm trying to change the way the app starts, the only thing it has to do is to NOT check screen size.
I'm on it for about 3 weeks now and i'm stuck.
I decompiled it but have no idea where i could find the check or disable it.. i thought in the layout xml but it doensn't have one..
Does somebody know how to get this done?
i attached the apk.. (sorry, link: http://dv-solutions.nl/Thuis%20TV_1.1.6.apk )
Thanks in advance!
Hi, I currently use my Samsung Tab 8.9 mainly for feedly. But as it gets old in the teeth (we are not even going to discuss the horrible support from Samsung). I'm either going to buy the Samsung Tab S 8.5 or the NotePro 12.5.
However, does the additional screen real estate translate into more cards displayed on the screen in "cards view?" Or just bigger cards with bigger pictures and a larger font?
A screenshot/pic or any other additional information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Bigger pictures, same number of cards.
Thanks you, for the fast reply.
Would changing the dpi setting in the rom or of the Feedly app increase the number of cards?
If someone could change the dpi in the rom or of the Feedly app, and report the results. Does it display more cards?
I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Bink,
I've changed the DPI down to a low number (215 from 320) and the number of cards displayed is the same. Just the text is really really small.
I think the number of cards displayed is limited by the application and not screen resolution.
Thanks for the quick reply. A real shame. Will see if Feedly has any plans to make a big tablet version of the app with an additional row and column of cards. That would seem to be the perfect fit for these big tablets.
Thanks for all the help!
Yeah I would love to see Feedly get more UI attention too.
In addition to cleaning up the app itself to support tablet layouts better I would love to see the widget fully support scrolling such that we could replicate magazine UX using 3rd party launchers and actually have control over exactly what feeds we put on our home screens.
Hello all, I like my Galaxy Neo watch - however there are some aspects I miss from my Pebble.
The largest one: on the Pebble I was able to chose a tiny font, which allowed me to read several lines of email messages at a glance. -> my question: is there a way to have (much) smaller fonts on the Gear 2?
Thank you for any responses
On the Galaxy Tab S4, you can run DeX without attaching a screen. I know the screen is much smaller on the Note 10+, but I think it would be cool to be able to do this. I was wondering if any intrepid poker-arounders would be interested in looking at that. I tried using a shortcut maker to run any of the DeX shortcuts that became visible, but had no luck. I did notice there is a DeX panel, whih does not show up in the quick settings panels. It does show on the Tab S4 all the time, and allows you to turn DeX on.
Anyways... food for thought...

Nope not possible as far as I know. And yes the tab has bigger screen so it makes more sense to have it on the tab. I don't thin Samsung will bring that feature to the mobiles as it's probably not worth the hassle for them. I don't think there is much demand for such a feature on the smaller displays.
