Dude if you're new you should first read the general rules, and try to use the search button before you open a new thread. I don't wanna sound harsh and don't take it as a personal attack, but all the basic information you're asking for can be easily googled and found in similar topics on our xda board i.e. USB OTG in accessories section. There's really no need to open a new thread.

I thought it had USB OTG

It supports USB OTG but not tv out!

I guess TV-OUT only via MHL cable :s i guess

I am bit confused between nexus and sII
Thread moved to General Q&A.
Suggest you a phone...
Go sim only until you can decide what you actually want from the device.
No point someone else saying buy this as I could say buy a Nokia as I like the hardware and it does what I want it to.
Go to some phone shops and have a play with some of the devices and don't let the sales rep push you into buying a phone just cause it's there.
Once you have played with the phone you like the look feel of. Go home. research it on the internet. are there any problems? Chances are someone has done a youtube review of it and will give you the pros and cons. At the moment I'm trying to find a device that meets the following criteria
If nokia bring out a device before android that meets this then I'll be going over to Windows OS.
1080 p video recording
Wifi N
hdmi out
Dual Mics
olded display
small footprint Not Samsung galaxy 3s
NFC
BT 4.0
4g
Micro SD expansion slot
12mp camera or greater.
ill go with Galaxy S2 or ATT Skyrocket version... both are good imo!!

I am also thinking of s2 as it's development is good over here. !
I vote for S2 as previous people. I was concerned about if it is convenient for calls before buying, but everything is just great (camera, lot of camera modes like panorama, responsive GUI, etc).
yeah i am going to buy it only

Processor Upgrade Help/Advice...

Before anyone says anything, yes, I know it's a junk motherboard My PC is giving me problems and my mom had this laying around her place. I took it home and played with it a bit and got it to boot eventually but I want to replace the CPU.
The board is an M2N68-LA (part# 5189-0465) motherboard. It is in a pre-built HP a6683w PC.
In the specs it says it supports:
Athlon 64 up to 3800+
Athlon 64 X2 with Dual Core technology up to 4800+ (up to 65 watt TDP)
Sempron (All)
I was looking on eBay and found a "nice" (compared to what's in it now) AMD Sempron 140 CPU 2.7GHz SDX140HBK13GQ Socket AM2+ AM3. The board obviously supports AM2 chips, and the description stats is supports all Sempron processors (AM2 of course).
My question is, does it cover the AM2+ chipsets as well? Will that processor work in this board?
Thanks in advance for any advice. Also, if you could suggest maybe a few other good compatible AM2 processors, I'd greatly appreciate that as I could search eBay.

Get the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 if you like Touchwiz and want a Micro SD card slot and a rear facing camera. Buy the Nexus if you want a quad core processor, fast Android updates, 12 core graphics, and a 1280x800 display.
The galaxy tab has longer battery life, standby , external memorry card support, as well as GLONASS (Russian gps network) ontop of GPS , The Nexus is just more powerfull (no bells or wistles,or memory expansion-unless you root- and GPS only) battery times= galaxy tab2 14 hours run time/2000 (thousand) standby hours Nexus= 9 hours run time/ 300 (hundred) hours ( i had the same question as you, and this is what changed my mind)
Galaxy tab
-Disadvantages:
1-less powerful processor dual core only
2-Official updates slow but unofficial not
-Advantages:
All others
Nexus:
-disadvantages:
1-No rear camera
2-No sd card slot so limited by internal storage
3-quality control issues as elevated screens etc
-advantages:
1-Quad core processor
2-Faster official updates

That 3.5mm jack is probably for a infrared receiver to be used with a remote.

well dude i might be making a face-palm here.... but
if you've put a mk808 rom on a device other then the mk808 shouldn't you expect things not to work? like the mk808 has no 3.5mm jack so wouldnt not have drivers for such?

I have put a big heat sink and also played around with a few 2A power supplies. I haven't gotten to check the real current capability of any of these power supplies, but what baffles me is that I can use 1A power supply to play dead trigger on stock ROM, but I can't even play it longer than 5 minutes on finless.
I have tried reflashing finless a couple times with the same results too so needless to say I'm confused when I recently found somebody that can play games no problem on this stick with finless 1.7. Perhaps I just received a bad batch of device

HTC One ME (Dual Sim)(M9EW)

Hello,
HTC introduced the One ME dual-SIM with Helio X10 chipset and support for Indian 4G LTE networks. This handset was unveiled in China earlier this month and will be sold in Classic Rose Gold and Meteor Grey color options in India.
The One ME is HTC’s second WQHD smartphone with fingerprint sensor after the One M9+ to enter the Indian market. Styled like the rest of the One product family, the device has a polycarbonate body.
Specs-wise, the device packs the latest 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795T mobile chipset with 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM. A 5.2” QHD display, 32GB of expandable memory, and 20MP main camera are also on board. HTC One ME boots Sense-d Android Lollipop.
The dual-SIM handset supports Indian 4G LTE network bands - 1800Mhz (Band 3) and 2600 MHz (Band 40) to deliver fast mobile web speeds, but only in select regions. Other connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.1 with apt-X, and GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou support.
HTC One ME dual-SIM is priced for India at INR 40,500 ( about $640). The device will be available from this weekend onwards.

anybody ?:crying::crying:
I've read some reviews about it as I'm so interested in dual sim flagship phones. Since this phone has high specs with a very reasonable price as it's now available now for $550-$600; it really got my attention.
Most of the people say that it heats up and drains battery faster. It also lags sometimes with multitasking and heavy gaming. Other than that it's working fine. I really like the specs and the design but disappointed that it lacks wireless charging and also doesn't give the chance to add a wireless charging receiver as it has a fixed back battery cover.
Anyone owning the device could give us a real feedback about it!
First of all thanks OP for this thread for Htc One Me ... i am tired searching thread and forum for this devive in XDA :thumbup:
ITS REALLY VALUE FOR MONEY FULLY FEATURE PACKED FLAGSHIP DEVICE (but somehow its being ignored)

My thought about this device is:
This is currently best value for mony flagship device. It has everything (and more) that current flagship device should have....and price is comparabily very low price. Last day I went to magnet mall in vileparle west mumbai and checked this device... around 20 min from design to sound to FP sensor to dual sim...its awesome device. The couler i used was gold...and device look awedome golden. Here are some major features packed in this phone, these are checked by me and confirmed specs.
* Nice back camera with 4k recording and front 4up
* Latest 64 bit MTK helio 10 processor
* Dual sim dual stanndby
* Touch fingerprint * homekey
* Fm radio
* IR blaster
* 32 gb memory plus 3 gb ram
* Sense 7 and Android 5.0.2
* Dolby dual BoomSound speaker
* 5.2 inch 2k Res screen.
* Price Only: 37000 INR (at Alfa Mumbai)
* Other features are same as other Htc flagship devices.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY, even after so good device and already availability there is NO FORUM FOR THIS DEVICE IN XDA. I already requested forum for this device via 'New Device Forum request' (here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=62090540 ) thread. And hope soon it will get its own forum.

But there are some things which could not be performed at hand on.
So please provide some details about below points.
1. How is Battery Life (Its 2840 mah and is it enough for 5.2 + 2k screen)
2. Performance (MTK helio10 is really capable handling graphic loaded games and apps)
3. Is there Heating Issue? (I heard somewhere about this.....???!!!)

1. Battery life gets him through a day. It really depends on your usage.
2. Processor is damn good, no performance issues. Gaming isn't that great though due to a sucky GPU, highly extensive games will see frame drops.
3. Every smartphone heats when used for long hours without resting. Nothing uncommon. No "heating issue" or "overheating".

Just received the device yesterday, I bought it from eBay. I'm really impressed with the design. The grey one gives you a metal build feel. Sense 7 is great. There is FM and USB host option if there is anyone wondering. I didn't assess battery life yet, not before one week. I noticed that the boom sound is less in intensity compared to m8. There is some heating up but not exaggerated as people complain about, maybe coz I didn't overload it seriously but with normal use it's OK. I still didn't check the mhl adaptor. Overall it should be considered as a flagship phone but with a very reasonable price.

Anyone know of a root method that works for this phone?
And would the htc one m9+ root work as both devices are basically the same?

Go here and check (Match) your network band. I think it should work.
