[Q] Tweak Stock Adobe Flashplayer issue [RESOLVED] - Verizon Droid Charge

i just noticed this last night, i tried to play a game of miniclip (lol dejavu) but the game never loaded,
i then downloaded it to my computer and then passed it to my phone,
i installed SWFPlayer from the market, and tried to run it but it gave me an error message that my phone did not have flash player installed, i went to the market and installed it, and tried it again, it gave me the same message,
i restarted my phone and tried again and it still didn't work, so i restored a NAND backup to test it and it worked this time so the issue is with the rom
I really like this rom is there a fix for this?
*Fixed* here is the same link from post #6 that fixed my issue
*url deleted* use attachment
Download to SD then flash/install through cwm

I would suggest asking dwitherell either by pm or in his Tweakstock thread, perhaps something he included (or left out) is causing the issue

[Q] Market Apps wont download

I am using Coredroid V7.
When I am trying to download apps from the official app market, it doesnt download.
it says downloading then just clears itself out. i try it again it doesnt download it.
i even did a full wipe(1.5 and coredroid wipe) then freshly flashed the rom again, then it doesnt download again.
because of that i even had to RE-root my phone..well that didnt fix it as well..
it worked completely fine in 6.7. can anyone help me whats wrong with it? i even resetted my phone..nothing worked...
im trying to download miren browser..
Wow hmm I had this before. Are you setting up any accounts after flashing? What I mean is once you flash and get to set up tutorial, when it asks about setting up accounts,so u log into Facebook or Google right then?
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Well, after the extensive wiping/rerooting/reflashing/reseting you've done, to no avail, maybe it's just the market acting up.
I've run into similar download issues both stock/unrooted and custom/rooted, from time to time. It's usually that stuck progress bar that never seems to move and never finishes, almost always when trying download something that's set to update automatically.
I've also run into specific downloads not kicking in, as you're describing. It usually clears itself up if I just wait a little while and try again.
Not a very specific solution to your problem, but all I'm saying is that after all you've done to "reset," that should have taken care of the problem, if the problem was indeed on your end.
FWIW.

Yea I log into Google and Facebook in the set up.

Do a Search for Full Wipe, there is something you can run that just cleans yer device completely. I would try that. Else; I am unsure.
Settings->Applications->Market-> Clear Data/Cache ???
Worked for me =(
It's just a sporadic issue with the Android Market. I have encountered this very same problem and thought it was the rom but never did any reflashing or wiping data/cache but then I would go try to download an app and it would successfully download and install. I think it's an issue with the android market.

Just fyi, I flashed v7 tonight, and installed several apps after the fact, so I can at least assure you that it's but the ROM.
Sent from the computer I carry in my pocket.
Solution kinda
I was having the same problem tried all sorts of wipes to no avail ended up just downloading and installing new cooler looking app market thinking it would solve my problem but it didn't just gave me an error message to go along with it.....so the solution u say......annoyingly simple really reboot into recovery after installing new market clear cache and dalvik cache too just to be sure.
confirmed working as of 5 minutes ago.
with new market
on virtuous unity rom (but I don't see a reason it shouldn't work on most roms with weird market bug)
new market ***here***

[Q] Google Voice Search won't update from Market

I've tried on the stock rooted GB OTA and on Xboarders tweaked GB and each time I attempt to Update, I get an Installation error: Package file was not signed correctly. This is occurring after factory resets as well.
Am I the only person encountering this, as I've not seen any mention of it in the forums?
Did you try removing the previous version first?

Not yet... I have tried freezing it with no effect on the outcome. Will give that a shot, but I'm curious if anyone else is seeing this issue or if my phone has been hitting the bong when I'm not looking.
Update: Removing the system version (2.1.3) allowed me to download and install the latest (2.1.4). But it just seems like a weird issue. I wonder if LG had done something to the 2.1.3 version that made it incompatible with updating.
Same issue here im gonna root then reinstall the app.
I've done just as mentioned in removing and installing however
The message of voice search being an "incompatible update" appears. Would either of you have the old apk or help with installation of the new one? Unfortunately I thought I backed up the old .apk but it never fully downloaded to my dropbox server ...Thank you in advance!
try rebooting phone first then go to market and try to install i had that error earlier today and a reboot fixed the issue if not try rooting first
Thank you
It is rooted, and it worked after rebooting twice. The first reboot didn't do anything after deleting the ap. Then after looking around I found the lib folder and deleted that too. Afterwards rebooted again and it installed, Thank you though!
no prob glad i could kinda help
Where is the lib folder?

[Q]Help??? please Not compatible with XDA premium HD!?! or Voodoo sound!?!

So I am experiencing a bit of a weird problem I cannot find an answer to. I hit the ground running and I am mostly up to speed with all the rom/ kernel stuff, but...
I started out with OTA ICS, rooted, and rouge recovery CWM. No problems with any apps. Then I did AOKP v2.0 build 31 no problems but not really my flavor no problems with apps. I downloaded XDA premium HD and had no issues. I finally installed ARHD 3.2.0, problems start. When I try to download my paid XDA premium HD it says not compatible. Love the ARHD btw. Since flashed test 14 - nothing. test 13 - nothing. Flashed Gapps - nothing. Same issue with Voodoo sound plus, will not work.
What am I missing?
With Voodoo sound, you need to use the beta version posted in the VooDoo thread.
+1 To that, I'm in essentially the same boat (ARHD) and both of those work fine. The difference is I use TastyMehIcs kernel, maybe give that a shot? -shrug- You can try downloading the xda premium Apk off of your computer through market and transferring, or reinstalling the play store, there's no reason it should be incompatible with ARHD or the tf.

I tried that and it just crashes. So I reinstalled the ARHD 3.2.0 to go back orig kernel from test 14, but it did the same. I am on test 13 now.

not sure what's going on, maybe check in the voodoo thread
The beta works for me, but I've heard it's Plagued with bugs for many people. Check the thread, it may be the kernel, you can try another one.

I can do the XDA premium but I paid for the HD ( tablet ) version. How would I reinstall the play store? uninstall and then flash gapps?
Log into your market (play store whatever. Google.) account on your computer, then it should show up as paid and available for download if you're logged in. Then transfer. If you're using ARHD the play store comes with, and works fine without flashing gapps, so you could try just doing that. You would have to reflash ARHD, make sure you use superwipe full.
Ok wiped full, reflashed, test 15, and voodoo pre1 works phew... Now onto the xda premium hd. Lets try. Thanks for helping might need more

Ok I am in the market and it shows as purchased but when I try to download it tells me to choose another device as neither is compatible??? Is there a way to download instead of install/send to device?
Try using titanium backup to 'wipe market stats' and wipe your cache in CWM recovery. Then try to resync google account and redownload.
im having this same issue on cm9rc2
how can we get xda premium hd to show in the play store?
its so frustrating
i see other tablet apps.so im not sure whats wrong
I have the apk for it, I wonder if it would be ok of me to give it too you (provided I can see a proof of purchase somehow)

BusyBox Update failed

I'm having an odd problem, and I'm not sure what to do about it.
This morning when I woke up, I noticed that there was a BusyBox update in my notification bar. Upon trying to update it failed.
So, I uninstall BusyBox, and try to reinstall it, but I'm met with a message that I don't have root access. Upon checking with Root Checker, I DO have root access. But, now all of a sudden, my wifi is not working, when it has worked flawlessly up to this point.
I'm not sure what to do. I don't have a nandroid backup to roll back to, and I need my wifi to work. Would doing a factory reset and flashing a new ROM solve this problem?

you must be on a custom rom or you on stock, rooted?
---------- Post added at 04:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:40 PM ----------
ok need to go into CWM and flash these files, should correct it, I had this issue on a ROM dont recall which one or it might of been on a rooted stock....
but before you do anything.....
download these files and put them on your sd card of the phone, NOT THE EXT memory card, you are gonna flash them like you would a ROM ok, in cwm, you can flash them back to back while you are in CWM...kk
download this file first and flash this file first: FLASH ME FIRST
download this file second and flash it second: FLASH ME SECOND

check the MIUI thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1294549
I think MIUI occasionally loses recovery. Possible kernel issue.
Read through the thread to see if you can get some additional info.
I'm not sure if it has any bearing on your wifi..possible.
If you know how, you can try extracting the kernel from MIUI rom and reflashing just the kernel using SGS kernel flasher to retain your data.

I definitely don't know how to do that haha. I'm a noob when it comes to this whole game, although I'm slowly learning.
Do you think doing a factory reset, wiping everything, and then flashing a new ROM might fix my issue? I did want to try out one of the new ICS ROMs, so if that will fix my problem I might as well go ahead and try one of them out.
Flashing Uniporn seemed to have fixed my issue. I first re-flashed MIUI and that didn't solve anything, so I guess the issue was with MIUI? Just odd that the wifi would drop out after using it flawlessly for 4 months.
Oh well, got something new to play with again. Thanks for the help guys!

Camera, Flashlight, screenshot not working, help me!

When I go to stock they work fine, as soon as I flash a ROM they stop working again. I know these are all related so Im thinking its something in the software, but I have re-installed the camera.apk, tried different camera.apk, tried camera from play store, tried flashlight and screenshot from play store. None of them worked. It could be hardware, but sometimes the camera does work at random. I swear when i re-install some apps from play store after a flash it works fine. Im gonna try adobe flash and see if that does it, but let me know if you have suggestions cause its making me mad!

Have you try to start completely from scratch?
Flash one click leak from kennethpenn using odin - I use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1652679.
Then Odin flash CWM Touch - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566613
Then flash your Base with OP instructions followed by your Update with OP instructions - I'm sure you already do, but follow OP to a T
I know how frustrating this can be but it has fixed numerous problems.

I have restarted from scratch 4 times. I think I will try to go back to stock one more time and test the camera at stock, then test it again after every step I do and see where it starts to force close.
