You have to flash a kernel that supports overclocking if you want to overclock.

It depends in device I think. I remember you from Evo forums. CM kernal for Evo supported mild OC, thanks to Toast. But Nexus CM kernal hasn't OC. Maybe that is what you were remembering.

You are probably right. I thought I had tried it once I flashed cm7 but I may have already flashed netarchy. Not missing my EVO at all. The slightly smaller keyboard is taking some time to get used to though. Thanks for the clarification Matt.

Setcpu overclock?

When overclocking the mt4gs with setup does it only over clock one core or both? Some people are sayin it only does one? Just want to be sure.

[Q] How to have a dual boot with 2 roms?

How can I accomplish this? I want to run both oxygen and ics at the same time.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
Whenever you want to switch, make a backup and use that whenever you want to flash back.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Or to answer your question... you cant
Can't run 2 roms simultaneously,, if that's what you mean. There is am app called boot manager, and you can run up to 5 roms from SD. Its in the market, I believe, but can also be found in the evo forum (Themes and Apps subform)

Yes the kernel must support it and the one linked does, but you need to use an app to set speeds or set then in ramdisk.
