How do you start Weather Widget Donate

Hey guys call me stupid, But i dowloaded weather widget donate. And when i press the widget it just goes to the setting, how do i get it to show the clock and weather on the home screen.
Im lost, sorry if it is easy, first android phone.

You just have to long press on the home screen and add widget

Fyi for first timer, that widget is my personal favorite for weather after the stock nexus one. Bit you're going to likely encounter periodic glitches like what you described (ie pressing the widget and it malfunctioning, etc). At least I did, so if it happens first just drag the widget to the trash and put a fresh one on the desktop, that fixed that widget for me 90% of the time. Otherwise trash it, reboot and then long press and reapply it. If neither of those resolves it just delete the app and reinstall it. You probably k ow but if you buy it its yours, you can uninstall and reinstall until your hearts content. All of this may prove moot, in which case I apologize . But it could also save you some time and headache.

I missed my aosp kb so i gave us a choice and now we can choose htc,android, or themed swype kb. ALSo forgot mytouch music(thanks sdrew).
added wi fi tether too since i forgot that as well.

Ive been putting this theme together. I Saw a ported cyan theme and then Gomorrahs Black and Blue i really liked the blue from. Not too crazy like most things i put together. When this is finished i will recolor the whole theme. Some ppl had a problem flashing the theme over different roms so i made a mod to streamline the process. This is the rom mod version. I incorporated the adw launcher, i was impressed with the side scrolling,shortcuts and the other options.

I was contemplating that myself. But i figured swype was better. I will find my favorite aosp kb and include it in an update.

how can i uninstall your swype so i can get the updated working version

this is sweet font! and i agree with the people up here the asop keyboard is on point man.. swype is cool and should be kept but options would be cool. Also..

Glad you like them. I actually made this one for the ppl here since mine are generally too crazy for most. IDC as long as ONE person likes it as much as myself(i have 1 beat), im running a easter egg version of this rom and loving it. Glad you like my mods. If you have any suggestions feel free to pm.​

Thats awesome, really glad you liked it. It means ALOT coming from you. I remember pm'ng you a long time ago (2-3 months)about oc for our heroes back when you were still trying to figure it out, when i really didnt even know exactly what a kernel was

Its there by default. Im sure you just tapped the home button on accident maybe being used to roms where its defaulted to sense. Mine is not defaulted intentionally because i switch back and fourth frequently. Just tap home and select sense. The other one has different options. Its a launcher2 variation called adw launcher. If you have any further problems just pm and we'll get you going.

anyone having a problem with the startup screen in a loop. I did a fresh flash and it stays on the screen with the guy stomping the other guy.

When you wipe go to options and fix uid mismatches, wipe data and dalvic as well. I flashed this rom 23 times yesturday after complete wipe and worked EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can GURANTEE its not the rom itself, unless you got a bad dl. Did you download directly to phone? DL it again and reflash and it should work just fine. Any further problems pm and ill get it going for you. GOOD LUCK​

Can someone tell me how to get the facebook pictures to come down in the contacts. When I click link to facebook, none of my contacts show up. I'm logged into it because friendstream is up and running.

I finally got some time today and loaded this bad boy up. I'm getting an error when I go to finalize my exchange account..."Failed to set up account. Please try again later". I've verified all info is correct. Any ideas???
Also....when the alarm goes off....there's no way to send it to snooze or turn it off. The ROM is awesome....looks good and runs great. The alarm and exchange are 2 things I definitely need though....thanks for your hard work.

EEK, ive no use for facebook so i have no way to test it other than make an account, so as soon as i have some time ill make one. Also, how long have you given it to complete this action?

I have no use for an exchange account either, You tried later correct? and if so was the issue resolved? I may have to set up an exchange account as well to check it out.
The alarm issue can be resolved. IT happens because i rm the lockscreen to use vanilla lock, and the alarm clock is inside it. Ill get a fix and pm you the link.

Best Homescreen replacement?

I loved to use adw in the past but recently the updates made it unusable for me... so i am looking for a replacement...
Maybe i should just stick to an old version of adw (i unfortunatly didnt backup mine before updating)
So what are you guys using?

Yea, ADW has started crashing on ocassions, its really annoying. Dont know what alternative is good like this.

ADW ftw! Never had an issue with it.

I for one am interested in trying the LG Optimus launcher once we get Eclair. Im an organization freak so the customizable app drawer appeals to me. Also looking forward to trying Launcher Pro Plus with Eclair. Currently using ADW and have no problems.

Have you not tried the "group" feature in ADW? Open the app drawer and press the menu button - choose group - New catalog, name it, choose apps to be in it, then when you go into the app drawer you just press the menu button and choose your new group.

I had been using Slidescreen pro since last 3 weeks and with facebook and Google reader integration working with it,i have laid Timescape and the old ADW launcher to rest in peace.
I can assure you would get a different experience once you start using it........

Yeah i use the group feature. I like it but the LG has all apps on one screen with groups seperated by heavy lines with titles. Im being fussy here is all ADW is by far my fav to date. Just looking to try something new.

what version do use use? - even in the market adw is getting a lot of 1 - star ratings recently because its damn bugged ...

After reinstalling adw today i havent any problems.
But before that reinstalling it was crap like you said.

damn i have to write somewhere in my profile that i started to code my own stuff when i was 15 years old ...
sure i tried to reinstall, delete settings, reset, just restart, play with different settings and i even tried to talk to it (j/k)... none of the things worked ...
can you do me a favor and try to press and hold the home key to switch between recent apps and then press the home key again?
everytime i do this i have to set it as default home again - this is way more annoying then the little crashes i experience all the time and for me it makes adw totally useless now ...

try LIVEHOME which is also a home screen replacement, nearly the same as adw but has a few more features, one of them is transitions, you can flick through you home screens like pages in a book (love it). Try it out.

ok after playing around a lot with settings i have to apologize to my beloved adw launcher
ok it still crashes a lot in the newer version but my main problem - that it cant remember the default home - is on the stock android homescreen too so i guess somehow my software is ****ed up *cry* ...
guess i have to reflash (god damnit this **** is more buggy then windows 95)
edit: btw livehome looks really nice ... i like that you can change the icons in the drawer

Update: after reinstall and some hours later i got crashes again and that home-button problem too.
Now i set only the adw-homescreen to "dont auto-rotate" and i have no problems now.

Hello mates..
Am using ADWLauncher and noticed thqt a SiMi clock widget I have in the desktop stopped updating with actual time!! I mean that it get stuck at a certain time.. restarting ADW reset it to the actual time but then it gets stuck again!!
I tried clearing cache and data of both apps still no success..
Any help is highly appreciated

Am not asking just mere questions, am looking for info from other users about the APP(s) in question, so if you have help you're more than welcome, if you don't, then you're not..

It seems that some memory app killer or maybe Android itself kills the service which keeps the widget clock UI synchronized. This service obviously doesn't restart itself again after being killed. I dunno the widget you are using but a simple workaround might be by tapping on the widget a few times and/or open its menu.

Yea I was thinking the same. Tried open the app, editing the settings, restarting the widget, making all over again and even a reboot didn't help!
Guess I'll just have to remove it :-/

Google Customizable Search Widget

I'm at my whits end. My wife and I are both Google beta members. Same S7 Edge. Same version of the Google app and she has the customizable widget while I do not. I have tried everything. Uninstalling, updating, leaving and rejoining the beta, you name it. She did nothing. One day the three dot menu was there for her on the widget. I can't get it to happen on my S7 Edge.
Anyone else figure out how to make this happen? It's driving me crazy.

I heard its a very slow roll out (luck of the draw & youre unlucky).
Uninstall it then try this apk...if it's what you're looking for.

Update--tried it myself and it won't install. Even tried disabling it. I wonder if anyone with an S7 has got the update.

I've tried installing APK's found on various sites that were supposed to install the widget but it just ends up being the same search widget. No three dots like my wife's. I don't understand how two people, in the beta program, with the exact same device and the exact same version (7.14.18.21.arm64), don't both have the same widget. This is bizarre.

Don't really want to do that. I don't want to have to configure it all again with what I like to see cards wise within Now as well as anything with the Assistant. I shouldn't have to reset everything to get the same widget my wife got with the same version of Google, without doing any of that. There has to be something we're missing here.

I also want to know how to get the 3 dots. Seems like there's no known fix

Tried this. Doesn't work

I've had three Google updates since I first posted this and I STILL do not have the customizable widget. WTF is Google doing?

No one? Did anyone else get the newly updated customizable widget? I've tried everything again. Uninstalling, reinstalling from links at various sites. Removing from beta, adding back. This is very frustrating.

Same issue my wife and I both S7 edge have the customisation of option but my friend did the same procedure and he has an updated app but no customisation option I don't know why Google is doing this

I've had many updates to the Google app since I first posted this thread. Still no customizable widget. I guess Google is never going to release it to some people for some bizarre reason. I don't get their thinking on this. Why give it to some, update others, but don't include the customization???

Any update for this thread? I had that rounded widget until today because i had to factory reset my s7 edge for various reasons and after that, widget dont let me customize it anymore. I have all google apps up to date and I joined to beta test but still nothing... Now I have different 3rd party google search, but I want that original to work again.. :/
