Ive been putting this theme together. I Saw a ported cyan theme and then Gomorrahs Black and Blue i really liked the blue from. Not too crazy like most things i put together. When this is finished i will recolor the whole theme. Some ppl had a problem flashing the theme over different roms so i made a mod to streamline the process. This is the rom mod version. I was contemplating that myself. But i figured swype was better. I will find my favorite aosp kb and include it in an update.

Glad you like them. I actually made this one for the ppl here since mine are generally too crazy for most. Its there by default. Im sure you just tapped the home button on accident maybe being used to roms where its defaulted to sense. Mine is not defaulted intentionally because i switch back and fourth frequently. Just tap home and select sense. The other one has different options. Its a launcher2 variation called adw launcher. If you have any further problems just pm and we'll get you going.
anyone having a problem with the startup screen in a loop. I did a fresh flash and it stays on the screen with the guy stomping the other guy.

When you wipe go to options and fix uid mismatches, wipe data and dalvic as well. I flashed this rom 23 times yesturday after complete wipe and worked EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can GURANTEE its not the rom itself, unless you got a bad dl. Did you download directly to phone? DL it again and reflash and it should work just fine. Any further problems pm and ill get it going for you. GOOD LUCK
Can someone tell me how to get the facebook pictures to come down in the contacts. When I click link to facebook, none of my contacts show up. I'm logged into it because friendstream is up and running.
I finally got some time today and loaded this bad boy up. I'm getting an error when I go to finalize my exchange account..."Failed to set up account. Please try again later". I've verified all info is correct. Any ideas???
Also....when the alarm goes off....there's no way to send it to snooze or turn it off. The ROM is awesome....looks good and runs great. The alarm and exchange are 2 things I definitely need though....thanks for your hard work.

I have no use for an exchange account either, You tried later correct? and if so was the issue resolved? I may have to set up an exchange account as well to check it out.
The alarm issue can be resolved. IT happens because i rm the lockscreen to use vanilla lock, and the alarm clock is inside it. Ill get a fix and pm you the link.

glad to hear it. Dont worry about the size. Its large cus of all the goodies, but the zipalign in the update script takes care of it. Initial boot takes a bit but thats it. My setcpu settings for awesome battery life are:

I used to prefer android kb perf. until i started using my android/swype hybrid
with haptic turned off. Performance is great.
Song has played 3 times. I assume that means boot loop. I guess i have to wipe ext? Coming from fresh toast.
Exchange
Every time I try to setup my Exchange account, I get past "verifying information" to the screen where you can check "Mail", "Contacts", and "Calendar". When I press "Finish Setup", I get an Error that states, "Failed to create the account. Please try again later."
I've never had this problem before.
Any suggestions?

This is DAMAGE framework. You have to wipe like i said in the op. otherwise you will waste alot of your own time. This rom takes a sec to get booted so you want to get it right the first time and be done with it....read ops more carefully please, for your own benefit.

I tested both of these myself and spent all day getting my new mod to work with 27#1 and 27#2. between ALL the nightlys and the RC1 i have NEVER done a COMPLETE wipe. I got 4.2 and 4.3 to work with my 27#1 & 27#2. SInce all these issues that i cannot recreate, i will limit the use of 4.2 & 4.3 to everyone above release 27#2 to avoid further problems. i need more help testing to figure out what is going on for everyone else. i listed my procedure and thats how ive done it from the beginning and ive never had to wipe my data and have only had fc's with a program that i removed which did not come with cyanogenmod. so def. not cyans rom;my own fault. I will change the op to say 4.2 and 4.3 will only work on 27#2 until i can test further. i worked till 835pm thru 22 bootloops to finally figure out the issue and get them to boot on top of my 27#2 which i flashed ontop of 26 which i flashed ontop of 25,etc....flashing my mod inbetween every rom install to get all my addons back. hello, when i woke up this morning and saw the awesome news i couldnt help but do what i do. so i themed my favorite kb cyan to match the cyan rom. im still testing it. i put this together so that anyone who wanted to flash just one rom and get everything else they needed in one more flash(if they wanted the xtras) plus a few other utilities that we are used to(a little remnant from sense as well). this is the version with google craps built in. thats most of the addition. the rest are small other than the sweet new kb. man cyan looks sooo much better than green. iim still editing MY own setup now. I will update this accordingly. the pack will include the new cyan kb, and the googles. I take no credit for anything here other than theming the swype, adding a bunch of files to their corresponding folders,signing, flashing,testing, and then ul'ing. I forgot to mention, i added flash 10.1 blahblah(it works awesome) and wifitether works too(see screens below) i was going to theme the adw, but im still deciding. if i do it will be a white transparent rather than smoke. maybe later today EVERYONE thank CYANOGEN, this is awesome.....

I have to hex edit the value for the text. lemme find it and ill see what i can do. messing with taskers can sometimes be alot of editing when you have to make them all white all black or transparent takes the longest, just depends what color youre coming from. ill find that guide when i get a chance and ill post here or pm. you should give the white a chance, its very clean looking actually, not telling you what to do, just a suggestion that cant hurt.
I'm sure the white looks great. I'm just not a fan of it. When I had the Nexus One, I always changed it to black. Now, I keep my notification bar hidden since I don't really need it. I just prefer the black.
Don't worry about it if it will take too much time. It's not a big deal.

Dont be scared trust me. once you do youll kick yourself for not doing it sooner. i dont blame you for being cautious though( i value my evo greatly) ive been running it since i put this mod together, and man, team cyan are awesome. its so smooth running. if you have any issues i will gladly help you get rolling. only issues are the 4g and mms for me and i dont use either and i never have so i dont lose anything. i was happy with hero_overs pastry till this morning. NOW I HAVE BOTH CAMS AGAIN. JOY....

THis is a VERY common issue for me. Im going to start a thread for this. It will be a font thread. bring me fonts and ill turn them into update.zips. sounds good to me. if you want to do it yourself magicalan ill show you though, its very simple either way. o,btw i didnt flash them, everything is built in before i flash, thats why everything works

Magnus, I must say, this theme is actually pretty decent. I know I've ripped on you for your themes before, but you definitely toned this one down a lot and made it a lot nicer to look at, so congrats on the job well done. I do agree with a few of the other people in this thread though regarding the font...its not an easy font to read, especially not on a phone screen. I'm not sure how the whole font things work, but if you can push any font in, might I suggest Nobile regular. Its a nice, clean font created by Vernon Adams that I think would have fantastic readability on a mobile screen. It is licensed under the Open Font License, so it should be perfectly legal to use it in a free project like this. I've attached a zip of the font to this post.
edit: I just pushed Nobile to my phone via ADB and it looks really nice. I think you should consider it for your default font for the theme, or perhaps find a different clean font that fits your liking.

First off all credit to Herver for his great rom. All info on the original rom and Herver is below.
I uploaded 0.9.5 beta. not real happy with it. And it has some issues so its here if you want it but it might not be stable. wireless tethering is still giving me issues and the hulu app is just false hopes but im to tired to mess with it anymore tonight. Also there is no lockscreen now....ill get it fixed tomorrow....What I have changed though:

I have it working on my phone but when I try to flash the rom it gives me some errors. BUT even with the errors it looks like it installs somewhat correctly. I will upload what I have as a beta if anyone REALLY wants to try it but it has its problems.
Uploading at the moment with AOSP Dialer, Contacts, Email, MMS, and Music. So far its been running very stable for me. A couple little things I need to fix but it doesnt effect performance at all.

This sounds awesome! All the benefits of Baked Snack (which I used to run and loved) without the cruft of Sense (which is the reason I dropped it for CM6).... Downloading now. I'll let you know how it goes.

This thing just loops through the android bootscreen endlessly. That's w/ wiping everything beforehand.

I would like to see the phone app in full aosp. Because I'm using a Rom that is working beautifully but just see that when I receive a call it shows the stock phone app and the scroll down answer bar. I want the aosp mode. I don't like to auto decline people when taking my phone out of the pocket . Thanks

I haven't had any issues so far, it's quite snappy. Everything seems to be working as it should. Works great with King's kernel #6 BFS as well.

Get the Droid 2 system dump, find the Swype.apk, put it on your sd card and reinstall it using a file manager
Awesome. Lightning fast, contacts and Google are working great, and I haven't had any lock-screen freezes so far like I did frequently on 2.0. I love the new battery indicator addition.

DUDE! I can't even begin to tell you how good this rom is!!!! It incorporates all the best features,,,minimal moto blur if any,,,black notification bar with actual white lettering which seems to be a hard thing these days for some devs, super fast. I am playing with it now and so far i am finding no bugs at all.

I had that issue on the tranquility rom, but I fixed it by replacing the blur calendar with the google one. Let me try this rom and see what happens.

Working on it. I downloaded his rom and double checked it. Looks kosher this time, so I am off to flash. I'm going to back up my google cal. If it fixes the issue I'll send it your way.
This ROM is meant to be the slimmest ROM possible built on top of Sense. I've tried to strip out everything that isn't needed to reduce it down to the minimum amount. I've also made it a mix between GE/AOSP and Sense. To help get maximum battery (and better looks imo) I've swapped the SystemUI.apk out to tyler's GE on Sense SystemUI.apk.
I'm also trying to set it up so both GE and Sense apps can be used and you can choose which you want.
Every app which works on the stock HTC one firmware works fine here.
Currently as the ROM stands it is:
Under 400MB (it's about 380MB).
Uses Trebuchet launcher from CM
Stripped out a bunch of Sense/HTC Bloatware (pretty much anything i found non-essential)
Uses AOSP Lockscreen (auto unlocks for calls, allows widgets)
Has both HTC Camera/Gallery and GE Camera/Gallery
Has both HTC Clock and GE Clock
The only google app installed by default is the playstore, as the rest can be downloaded from it
Known Bugs
After completing the Setup you need to open settings -> click mobile data -> Access Point Names-> and then select your APN
3G/LTE/4G Icons do not show, you still get LTE (you may need to download an App from playstore to enable LTE, any that let you access the phone settings should work such as this one)
Only the GE Phone Works (It makes and receives calls fine)Sense Phone can't place calls (the app fully functions but doesn't make calls, need to find a way to fix this still, if anyone knows how to please let me know)
Currently battery percentage in the status bar isn't working
Feel free to ask any quests/indicate any bugs and i'll try looking into them when I get time.

To hide duplicate the icon from your app drawer, open the drawer, click the menu overflow, click trebuchet settings, click drawer, and then click hide apps. The duplicates exist to give a choice between Sense and GE versions

It's not a zip. It's just part of the rom. It's already been setup.

Xtheme Engine themes work with GE
This is exactly what i do with any Sense ROM i install anyway. I go to Titanium backup and spend a half hour uninstalling all the crap thats not needed to strip it right down so that the only things left that HTC stuff are the IR blaster since i lost the remote to my TV, and the camera functionality. I always use the codex sound mod instead of beats anyhow too. This awesome! Perfect!

Been running for a day now and haven't found anything wrong with this. Works great. Will run a little longer to report on battery life. So far I'm enjoying the experience. If we could just get everything in the status bar working that'll be great. Looking forward to seeing the progress.

But yeah, I think I finally might have found the Rom I'm sticking with. Excellent work.

You can;t make calls from the Sense Dialer. You need to use the GE one which is included.

Ugh.. I was super hyped about this ROM until I read this. I have too many people call me and this wouldn't be cool at all.
There is no known fix for this? I cant imagine everyone using CM would be cool with this issue.

Anyone else confirm the call bug? So the sense dialer doesn't work.. i could care less about that. Just as long as the GE dialer is there and takes calls.
