I have player pro and it works dine with player pro, but I've grown to like the ICS music app. What would I have to name the files? And is there a specific extension? Cause I have a folder with artwork with an unreadable file extension

I had the same issue with the native Music app.
I couldn't see the covers after using Album Art Grabber etc.
But after I cleared the data of the music app, it fetched all the artwork.
So after using the art grabber, you should go to settings => apps => All => Music. There you push the button 'Clear data'. So you DON't have to do it all manually...
Good luck!

Why? There is a widget in the status bar whenever you listen to music ... I don't see a point for it . You can also look into headset controller and set the controls with double press of the button etc

Hey Guys, apologies in advance if this has been posted already but could find no trace of it through searching! After a long and hard search for a music player for Stock/Cyan/Enom that looks good and works as well as the Sense music player, I stumbled across the ³ Music Player by Filipe Abrantes.
It uses a cube navigation GUI for your music collection which after a few minutes I found to be highly intuitive! As well as this it has settings for a cover art wall and also a morph flow similar to the iPod/iPhone and Sense music players. It also has lock screen controls that work, although they load up on the second press after the standard lock screen is displayed.
It auto downloads cover art, reads ID3 Cover Art perfectly, offers playlist navigation etc. etc.
After 2 days of using this I am highly impressed and have encountered no bugs, will be donating after a weeks problem free use!
Search for Filipe Abrantes on the Market or check,

Let me knows what you guy think!!
Thanks.
I like this app, but I stopped using it because when I selected to have it find my missing album art, it would find the wrong art and I could not figure out how to change it. otherwise it is a very good music player.

You can clear the cache in the settings and either try again or use standalone album art downloading app to get the correct art. It works perfectly with my ID3 and JPEG artwork although I had previously downloaded the art using other programs. That said, I had issues with NEMO, Mixzing, TuneWIKI etc with my ID3 art and none with this!
Just D.L looks really good. Just how do you fastforward in a song and maybe a widget for this would be awesome?
It already has what I believe to be very good widgets included.
Also, to fast forward the song you will see a grayish bar towards the bottom. You can click anywhere you want. This is one area he could likely improve just simply adding a more obvious texture...

It has widgets in all sizes, even one that mimics the sense widget i.e. the whole home screen!! You seek by tapping along the bar at the top (bar can also be moved to the bottom!), although as said in the post above it isn't as clear as it could be.
Honestly, I know how many people hate the look of the stock player and the one major feature of Sense UI people really want is the music app.... well I think this one is even nicer looking than that! I'd probably download it even if I was running a Desire ROM.
Anyway, I'm glad you liked it. I had followed so many threads and tried every player under the sun trying to get the nice experience that the Sense/iPod player gives and just so happy I now have something like it on 2.1.
Thanks
This is my fav music player, hands down.
You can change album art by longpressing the current album art for a song.
It does in fact have plenty of widgets... I have 7 homescreens, so I use the large one personally.

Hi!
I would like to know if an app which can remove all the album art of my music is present on the Market and his name.
Thank you in advance and sorry for my English...

I do not know of any on the marketplace, but there is a Windows program called Mp3tag that can remove all of your album art. It can actually do a bunch of functions. For example, I set it up to delete all the album art out of my mp3's, then search for Folder.jpg in the album folder and embed it into each mp3.
HOW TO DELETE ALBUM ART
- Open Mp3tag.
- Open your music folder.
- Hi-light all your music.
- Right click and choose 'Extended Tags...'
- Click the red X under the Cover section. This will delete the artwork.
- Click OK to save.
Thanks, I'll try this and report back
EDIT : Works like a charm ! Thank you

Use Album Cover Finder to replace your covers! I've found it the best as it allows me to grab the album art from Amazon and Discogs.com

hi guys
I'm using an ics rom (nexusbeam 4.1) and that's my little problem:
in music players some albums are not displayed but i've copied them inside the phone memory like the others that are displayed??
with root explorer I see in the same folder all the albums but when I open music apps some albums are not present :-o
Thanks for helping!!

Are the albums you don't see inside their own folder or with songs from other albums? They might be under the album named after the folder. Do a search for the filename/song, too.
Edit: Also note, this is probably the case if there is no ID3 tags on these particular songs/albums.

thanks friend but i'm having a look at my albums
they are all ordered rightly 'cause I've always used to listen to them before even using music apps in my nexus...
as you can see in the pics they are all in folders but in my music apps they are not all displayed...
Odd. Have you tried clearing the cache for the music app?

thanks a lot for helping me; i've had some tries but with no luck
Search the market for "Cover Art Downloader" (sorry I can't post links yet )
I had a similar problem and I was able to use this app to "force" music player apps to recognise cover art, either by downloading what it thought was the correct artwork or in my case picking images off the SD card. Worth a try!

I just used the free version - my issue was slightly different to yours in that Winamp was using the wrong album art for albums and no amount of cache clearing or messing with IDv3 tags would fix it, this app fixed it for me. Hope it works!
Hey everyone. My music library lacks decent album arts, and I was wondering if there is any way of getting rid of the full screen album art on the lockscreen and instead just having my regular wallpaper? Thanks in advance.

You might be able to use a different music player that overrides the original music widget. I think the feature looks pretty good if you have high quality artwork. Either manually change the artwork or go into Google Play Music on the computer, edit album info and use Google's suggested artwork. Perfect quality requires 1920x1920+ artwork.

In other words, there's no way to do it without using another app.
Tbh I really like having the full screen album. Anyway, try some the third party apps from playstore which should replace your default lock screen music player.

Why not get all the album art. There are very good apps in playstore for this ie album art downloader. Even gives you the choice of cover if there is more than one. Filled all my holes and I've obscure tastes

Doesn't the lockscreen pick up any music player that identifies itself as a music player? Apollo Music Player does, anyway.

This.
Bump.
There is an xposed module:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.audio.privacy
working fine
thanks man
Just what i was looking for works great thanks man
how to turn off google play Album Art Lockscreen
go to settings->Sound & notifications-> App notifications-> select google play music, then select "block never show notifications from this app"
This will remove the lockscreen wallpaper, unfortunately it also removes the lockscreen music play controls.
Hope this is helpful
Shuttle music player now has an option to hide artwork from the lockscreen natively.
Shuttle > Settings > Display
Not really a resolution but you can block the application from the notification in Sounds & Notification like what I did with my Spotif, I want to see my lockscreen wallpaper instead of the album cover. You can go next and/or previous song via the headset remote.
Does anyone know if xposed will be updated for 6.0?
It is really damn annoying Google does not allow for granular settings like this music artwork wallpaper.
I just want my background and the music controls

Using stock music player (don't particularly like Poweramp), is it possible to get full album art on the lock screen? When the S6 first came out, I used my friend's and it didn't appear to be an option - I wondered if it's now possible?
I think if you use the Google music app it displays full screen art.

It's in the settings. I don't know why it doesn't work for you. It works for me. Ohh well...
I would love to find out how to enable this feature on mine too, I miss it from my note 4. I'm using the galaxy s6 edge+ on the latest update.
