rooting question and ICS? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

I recently got my I727 and just rooted it using the 1 click tool, I'm wondering if it would be possible to unroot and restore it to factory default settings later if needed (lol i really should've checked before).
Also anyone know if ICS will be coming to this phone?

You can odin the stock tar anytime you want to reaturn to stock and yes ics is confirmed for q1 of 2012

Thanks. How do I know if it rooted correctly. In the site I read it said that superuser and CWM should show up. superuser showed up but theres no app for clockworkmod.
I have some apps from Rogers (my carrier) that I want to remove and I heard that rooting will let me, but it still doesn't let me uninstall or stop the apps running.

Download rommanager choose to install cwm for the tmobile galaxy s 2 it works on the skyrocket

[Q] noob root questions/ ATT GSII Skyrocket 2.3.5

Hey guys,
My lady upgraded me to the GSII skyrocket for Xmas. I thought I saw a thread for a Super One-click root for GSII skyrocket with 2.3.5. I looked all through the forum but cant find it or a simple root for 2.3.5. I rooted my old galaxy but got lucky doing it. Anyone want to give me a late Xmas presents on step by step instructions?
There is a guide in the dev section. Not all that hard if you just following the steps.

set usb debugging on (settings > applications > development > USB debugging) Install teh drivers plug in your phone and let teh drivers FULLY INSTALL extract the entire root zip file (dont just pull what you want out of it, it doesnt work like that) run the included batch file/sh file depending on your os

The drivers don't exist on the link provided takes me to a blank page. The other for Android Syndicate site doesn't exist for the Skyrocket or was taken down.
Use PdaNet to install the drivers if you can't find them. Its a free app in the market.

The drivers were all I was missing. I went out to samsung directly, downloaded the Kies drivers right from there, went out to SuperClick and worked like a charm! Any apps or suggestions of what I should do to it next?
Download rom manager. Install cwm recovery for the tmobile gs2 . Then download titaniim backup. Back up all your apps. Then boot into cwm. And choose backup/restore. And select backup. You will then have a nandroid backup. Custom recovery, and apps backd up with titanium
What are the implications of rooting? I expect Samsung/AT&T will release an ICS update for this phone in 2012 Q1 or Q2. Will rooting it now interfere with that eventual update?
You have to have stock recovery and all bloat to receive an ot a update there is a stock recovery tar in development section

You will loose root with OTA update.
Try OTA Rootkeeper to save your root file. After update you can use OTA Rootkeeper to restore root.

If you are on a custom Rom you have to use 1.78 ruu first and then ota.
do not run ota on 2.21 ruu , cause it does not work.
if u use the ruu you will have to unroot anyways.
---------- Post added at 08:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:17 PM ----------
or just wait for new 2.31 ruu
---------- Post added at 08:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:18 PM ----------
And I think your question has to go in q/a not in dev section

I am on the stock Rom. I just unlocked the bootloader and flashed supersu.
So should it work to keep all my stuff and root?
