I have searched but can't find anything related to this for the Transformer. When I am in CWM (3.2.0.1) and I try to wipe data, I get an error that says something like "error removing /data/data/com.android.google.location/files/cache" and then returns to the main screen. I have tried fastboot devices, but it doesn't show up there (does it even have fastboot?). I have tried to manually delete the file in root explorer but it doesn't help any.
Are there other ways to wipe the data?

Hi there, I seem to have messed up my mounting partitions while trying to deodex Stock JB Central Europe. I basically used xultimate to pull the files and deodex then tried using adb shell to mount the system partition and copy them over. After I rebooted the phone, it would get stuck on unlocked bootloader warning or on the motorola logo. I hard reset into recovery and restored a nandroid backup and once booted into android found so many folders under the Storage folder such as "asec", "obb", rfs0" and so on. Now, when I try to wipe dalvik-cache in recovery, i get the following error: "E: unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]". Also, when i try flashing custom rom's and reboot, it gets stuck on the unlocked bootloader warning and wont load - while in recovery after flashing, i also get another error something like this: "E: cant load /cache/recovery.log" or similar. I also sometimes have issues mounting system, cache partitions, data and internal storage, all depending on which custom recovery i am using. I read on another site that downgrading to ics might solve mounting problems so I forced a downgrade to ics but that didnt work either and am still on ics.
Is there a way to restore the partitions correctly or are they stuck this way? Would mounting and remounting solve this problem? Any help would be much appreciated and would very much appreciate it if someone could upload their mount point info so i could use to try and fix it.
Many thanks in advance.
EDIT: Managed to flash Slim Bean 4.3 Official using OUDHS recovery without wiping cache and dalvik-cache at first. After reboot, it would bootloop so went to recovery and wiped cache and dalvik-cache then it worked. Still no sd-ext and some apps can't write or backup to external memory such as Go Backup & Restore Pro so what remains is to mount/unmount the partitions correctly.
So, I wanted to install a custom ROM, but somewhere along the way something went wrong and I got stuck in a bootloop, I've been reading up on some threads and I followed some steps that were supposed to fix it, but I feel like I'm in even more trouble now (Well, my phone is still alive so I still have hope but yeah..)
Anyways, I'm using Philz custom recovery now, I tried to do a wipe to install a new or stock ROM, at first it said the wipe was succesful, so I tried installing the ROM, but during the install I kept getting:
E: Error mounting /data
It did say the installation was succesful, but after I rebooted it kept trying to wipe eventhough I did not ask for this.
Got another mount error and said Wipe Failed.
Now when I try to sideload stock ROM I get errors like:
Formatting Cache
Formatting /sd-exxt
E: Uknown volume for path /sd-ex
(I also don't know why it's doing that since this phone has no SD card) I got the Falcon edition with the internal storage. Also when my computer recognizes my phone and I want to open the phone folder, there is no longer an Internal Storage folder.
Anyways after those errors it says Data Wipe Complete, Wiping System, Now flash new ROM
But nothing flashes properly it seems due to the mounting error. I've looked for solution, but I can only seem to find threads that involve Samsung
and when I find a solution video it has something to do with either taking your battery out of your phone (which you can't do with this phone) or something
with your SD card (which this phone doesn't have).
So yeah, I'm running out of ideas here and any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers.

The phone has a virtual SD card.
I had a similar issue. Try flashing TWRP recovery and go to wipe > format data (THIS WILL DELETE ALL DATA) then reboot recovery. Worth a shot if you're not able to use your phone. You can copy over SD card contents to a computer first via TWRP by mounting MTP, or use USB OTG..
Hi all. I hope this is the right place to ask General android related questions.
I recently unlocked the boot loader and rooted my huawei p9 and installed twrp.
Once that was done. I went ahead and restored apps and data via the huawei Windows app.
However...
It seems like one of the folders in my data/data folder is corrupt.
I have tried deleting it with es root explorer. Root file manager to no avail. I am able to rename the folder and permissions.
The error I see in twrp is:
Updating partition details...
Error opening: '/data/data/renamedeleteapp/app_xwalkcore/Default/Cache/5de9a45e57c756c2_0' (No such file or directory)
...done
So I presume it's a partition issue.
I haven't been able to find any guides for similar. A full format Or wipe doesn't work either.
Of anyone can shed some light that would be great.
Thanks
I have seen some guides for Samsung phones using Odin to wipe partitions but I haven't seen a similar app for huawei phones
there's a problem with the "/data/data/renamedeleteapp/app_xwalkcore/Default/Cache/5de9a45e57c756c2_0" cause it doesnt exist. a simple reboot will do the work, and if it doesn't then reset factory settings from recovery will fix it
Hi guys,
so the problem is that i cant flash SuperSu thats located on my phone memory because the TWRP is showing 0 MB,also i am unable to mount the storage in TWRP. I tried different solutions that i found on this forum( set a lock pattern,PIN,wipe/format data, change file system ) but none have worked, TWRP newer even asks for a password. Also when i try to format the data in TWRP i get the "unable to mount data,system..." error. Is there another way to flash SuperSU without TWRP, because i also tried sideloading it but it failed?
I'm betting your device is encrypted. Which is always am issue.
Any solutions i could try ?
bump?
Hi, so whenever I flash TWRP after installing my ROM, my data directory gets corrupted. When I try to mount it, it says "Structure needs cleaning". I've attempted to format it, and reinstall, but nothing works. Anyone know how to fix this?
When I open TWRP, it doesn't ask for my device password, doesn't show me any of the files in /sdcard.
