Can i flash xxkpq directly from froyo
I am new to this.
Or Do i need to flash xxkpe first and to xxkpq
I am going to like this
* flash to xxkpq
* flash uc v8
or posiedon's rom?
nope. pit, kpe, kph, kpq. read some more in the stock roms thread for more detailed instructions
You can flash it in this procedure

I have flashed KPQ on Froyo and it did not work. Flashing KPE then KPQ always works for me no matter what other ROM you are on.
Ita posibile if live in Russia or Easten Europe:instal XXKC1(froyo) and then with Kies you can upgrade of XXKPQ;but is a very good tutorial in this forum whitout froyo.

Just study its working from froyo rom straight flash to gingerbread without flash from xxkpe to xxkpq or ddkp3..
Result: work fine..no need use pit from gingerbread
But for the battery performance i not sure coz some user say if flash from the beginning like xxkpe to ddkp3 or xxkpq is better then straight flash to ddkp3 or xxkpq.(that i trying to say)
Sorry my english bad.. (chinese educate)

if u had never flash any ROM with ODIN before, just try to check latest firmware update from KIES...
it's official from samsung...,
good advice ideally, but you haven't been here long enough (or just haven't read enough) to have seen the nightmares kies usually causes
bad english xD
if i understand you:
every mobile phone has got another build number
every buildnumber needs (normaly) her own rom

Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA
Yes its based on XXKPQ but i tired it with KPU before coz i read that its better w/ KPU.
EDIT- but if you encountered some bugs repeat the method til XXKPQ then flash poseidon.
why people dont use gingerbread standard rom but try this roms with bugs when the standard rom have no bugs ?

Because standard rom is clubbed with lots of applications which are useless and not only take your space but ram too.....most of the custom roms are stripped version and available only after rooting...which will help you to get 'administrative' rights as in case of windows PC.
so you can even decide initial start up !!!!
the design of the stock rom makes me flash it again..

I do it just for a change and to try out different features and looks, that custom ROMs provide. JMHO
Is der a way to go back to gingerbread rom from jellybean?
Plz mention the steps if any
U can flash stock based custom roms (like Razodroid) via CWM recovery.
However, to go back to Official Stock Gingerbread, u need pc & odin.exe along with that firmware file. For galaxy fit, the latest f/w is 2.3.6 DDKT3 & it's one package.
Hope this helps...!!!

u can flash it via odin if u want to flash it to stock rom
sent from my mind using hand to typing
Hi, I flashed my galaxy i9003 to official ROM 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
It worked for a few weeks and then suddenly when I use the internet (using data nerwork not wifi) for like 2 minutes the reception gives me no signal!
If I connect my phone to my PC using tethering or even just charging it on the PC it works fine and doesnt give me no signal
Why is that? I don't think the problem is with my SIM because I tried it on a different device and it works fine
Is it because something went wrong after flashing?
Any help please?
Thanks
try to flash first stock 2.3.4 then 2.3.6, try DDLF2 for 2.3.6 its the best stock rom I used any time.

No you can flash any stock you want, 2.2 or 2.3.4 or 2.3.5. But I recomend to flash 2.3.4. About arabic keyboard, it should support. The diference in DDLF and XXLE4 for example I didnt saw in language, just performance
