So yesterday on December 17 2010 Gameloft releseased Ultimate Spiderman: Total Mayhem HD for Android. You can purchase it on the mobile website of Gameloft for $4.99. I dont know about you guys but this is Exciting news, I really think this game is fun and addicting. I believe some big News from Gameloft is coming out later this month for Android, so we'll have to wait and see what it is.

Loved this game on the iPhone! Just boughtit for my G2.
Side note, I HATE that its not in the market. Gameloft makes switching devies a PITA!
I'd buy the game, if they didn't make it such a PITA to get at!
When I get to the page, as soon as I switch the phone type to my N1, the page changes to Asphalt 5 HD... Which I already fricken have!
And what's the deal with having to receive a download link via SMS?! I don't have an SMS plan, so I gotta pay the extra?!
I've be much more hyped about the game, if Gameloft pulled their heads out of their arses.
This is easily the best game I've ever played on a phone. The only thing that would make it better is to make it available on the market.

I believe it is free now because Google launched their in-app payment model, and they developer will be charging real world cash to acquire in-game items.

What does this mean for the persons that paid for this app? Are we subject to having to pay for everything now to?
The only difference is that you paid for it and we don't. Everyone can use the in-app purchase.
They made it free so that more people will play it. It's a strategy for the console/pc version which is soon to be released.

"Dungeon Defenders” has never had an official release date for its PC, XBLA and PSN versions, though a Q1 release was Trendy’s initial goal. The game is now looking at a March or April release date for the XBLA and PSN versions, with the PC version releasing sometime later."
Hopefully the people that paided for it get something nice in-game

I bought it but hardly played it, it's just too damn complex for a portable game.
I'm not real impressed about being nickle & dimed for it after buying it at full price, I won't be purchasing anything further from this developer that's for sure. If they'd given paying users SOME sort of acknowledgement then it'd be different, but that's just insulting the people that've supported them.
I guess they figure the microtransaction model works for Zynga, so why not them as well.

Geez, it's not like the developer is asking you to pay a monthly fee; they only made the apk free of charge. The new players who now download the free apk will never be able to get the free items you all got. And if you don't feel like spending any more cash on the game, then don't buy anything using the in-app purchasing mechanism.

how is a hybrid of building towers and blasting enemies complex ? it even has auto aim.
Gameloft are putting a game up for free for 2 hours everyday from saturday 7th - monday 9th.
So 3 free games up for grabs!

I've just tried to get it and it says I've just missed the Easter Rabbit, and to like them on Facebook or follow them on "Tweeter" to find out when the next free game goes live =/

also did anyone else notice the offer for shrek kart lasted for less then 55 minutes

Well it is Gameloft, did you really expect them to get it right?
The game looks very interesting.
For $6.99 I think I am going to buy it.
However, it has a market billing service permission...

That is for In-App Purchases. Before people grab their torches and pitchforks, remember, not everything with IAPs is a soulless money grubbing piece of crap. I read on Android Police that you don't really need the IAPs to beat the game - so they are there for noobs (the average gamer of today who doesn't have the balls to grind/earn their own gear).
It looks pretty cool to me - I'm only unsure about the battle controls. It'd be much cooler to have full control and not just a fancier dodge and swing system like Dark Meadow or that game on iOS with swords that everybody liked...lol.
Its awesome on my TF700T. No need to worry about IAP. It =s just to get more materials for forging weapons and items sooner.
Not that good a game! Good graphics but that's about it, boring! In app purchases are quite expensive as well!

To be honest although I have bought every XPO Kemco game, I have not had much time to play any of their newer games, think March of 2013 +. Although based on the reviews they seem to be good. If you want to get a taste there is a free version of Machine Knight and End of Aspiration on the market...
