My own favorites are: Tengo Keyboard or TongoThumb ; Touchpal ; Ezinput (free available here in this forum) try them out and decide for the best for you
you can also try Resco keyboard or SPB Keyboard
Hi Bulldog and nir36,
Thanks for your input.
But my question is for real qwerty keyboard input. All your suggested are virtual (soft) input method. They do not predict or auto correction key inputs.
Let me know if I am wrong.

Sorry but I am not sure what you mean now with "Real Querty keyboard input" Anyhow Yes all the kepboards name that we have mentioned are soft inputs and yes all of them have a prediction or suggestion of words. You can have also other languages. However most of them give you option to switch on or off those T9 kind options. The Best google for those Keybords and visit their web pages to get more info.
if you're looking for something to predict words using your HW keyboard you can use the original Diamond XT9 or Opal XT9 keyboards.. you can find them in the Development and Hacking section..
Dear Sir,
I know, it is a very common question BUT I have a problem with it. Since I had Qtek 9100 I do know about thing or two considering keyboard layout. But, again, Rafael seams to me a lot different than my ol' 9100.
First thing's first, I don't know witch keyboard layout is printed on keyboard. I am attaching an image of keyboard, and I am grateful for providing me this useful info.
Link:
Second, if someone can give me a short tutorial how to change layout I would be most grateful for that.
I do know how to change keyboard on qtek 9100, but it seams that this change is a bit more complicated, and I've spent about two days trying to change the keyboard.
Thank you
This is the sprint keyboard and u can change the layout with a program called TarusBullba Tilt keyboard fix. i had the same problem and that worked
I've installed keyboard fix, it isn't remapping them to fit properly. Numerical pad that is on the upper row of keyboard with TarasBulba fix is located on the right middle part of keyboard.
Is there a registry fix for remapping the keyboard?
Is the keyboard Swedish, Finnish or else?
Thank you
Mine is english and just works. U may also try some options in AdvancedConfig but i'm not sure if it will help.
Hi,
I need to be able to re-map the keys on the Bulgarian touch input keyboard. All the characters are in place, but the layout needs to be gently rearranged
How difficult would that be? Any pointers to a good reading material on this? Thanks!
i can try to do that...
think i know how ..
not until sundy tho
That'll be awesome! Let me know if I can be of assistance.
no word from Dougi...any other takers?
Hi,
recently my One S had received the update to 4.04. After that my keyboard is QWERTZ instead of QWERTY. I tried to change language settings but I have only "English (Swiss) English (Austria) English (Germany) and none of those have QWERTY keyboard. How can I do?
[I have alredy posted this in a wrong section]
Same problem
This problem has affected me also. Apparantly it looks like we must both have a german hardware keyboard in our phones. First option seems to be to root the phone and change the hardware as per this existing link, but hopefully someone can tell us another way to do this without rooting?

I have installed swift keyboard for now which resolves it but I don't like it as much as the built in keyboard. Would be nice to be able to go back to qwerty without rooting phone. Anyone that can help?
Hello,
I am planning to buy an Asus Transformer Infinity, and as an Armenian language user, I simply do not imagine my life without Multiling Keyboard . But I'm not sure whether this keyboard will work with the dock or not. Will I have the same typing experience with the physical keyboard of the Asus Transformer as I have on-screen (layout etc.)? Has anyone tested it (not exactly the Armenian layout, but just the app with the dock)?
Most importantly, I want to make sure that I will be able to switch between English and a second (Armenian) with the keys combination, as in the case of the default Asus keyboard. Even if this is not a supported feature by default, maybe there are some solutions/fixes for this? I'm ready to root my device or tweak some system files and settings, if it will help.
The question is, there is no other app that supports Armenian input language even half as well as Miltiling Keyboard, that's why I would like to ask the Multiling users here to share your experience with me.
Thank you in advance.
I have been using multiling with the dock without major issue, but with English UK. The only problem I find is that the " ? ! etc characters will not be in the same place. However, you may be able to learn the new positions easily? I'm sorry that I'm not familiar with Armenian to know if there are other critical special characters you will need.
I keep meaning to investigate if it's possible to remap the characters on multiling. I believe it is a better soft keyboard than the Asus one, or the default android 4.1 keyboard which is also installed by default. I'm looking forward to trying the android 4.2 default keyboard.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply, Gudders . Have you tried to switch languages while you use Multiling with the dock, or you use only Engilsh UK? If it is not too difficult, can you please check the Armenian language in the Multiling settings in order to have two selected languages, and try to switch them with the dock (keys combinations, spacebar...), or at last just try to type something Armenian with the dock?
Thanks!
I have been trying to figure out the same but for Spanish. So far I haven't been able to get special characters to work from the dock keyboard. I haven't been able to get things like alt-134 to work for writing a ñ. I waited for 3 months for Asus to release a latin keyboard and they keep saying it is coming soon but it still is not available. I finally just bought an English version but so far haven't been able to figure this stuff out.

I am happy to try for you. I can download and install Armenian. You can switch using shift and spacebar in search, chrome, kingsoft office, gmail and some others. I tried to get a screenshot, but I can't seem to upload it to XDA (browser issue I think). The only problem I had was with the stock browser. I couldn't get it to switch, or type Armenian characters. It may just need a restart. It does type the charactes and switch using the search bar in the stock browser, but on google page or XDA reply box it wouldn't.
Hope that helps.
