My own favorites are: Tengo Keyboard or TongoThumb ; Touchpal ; Ezinput (free available here in this forum) try them out and decide for the best for you
you can also try Resco keyboard or SPB Keyboard
Hi Bulldog and nir36,
Thanks for your input.
But my question is for real qwerty keyboard input. All your suggested are virtual (soft) input method. They do not predict or auto correction key inputs.
Let me know if I am wrong.

Sorry but I am not sure what you mean now with "Real Querty keyboard input" Anyhow Yes all the kepboards name that we have mentioned are soft inputs and yes all of them have a prediction or suggestion of words. You can have also other languages. However most of them give you option to switch on or off those T9 kind options. The Best google for those Keybords and visit their web pages to get more info.
if you're looking for something to predict words using your HW keyboard you can use the original Diamond XT9 or Opal XT9 keyboards.. you can find them in the Development and Hacking section..

I have installed japanese support, and it works 100% -- thank you everyone for your advice and posts (see my post at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1711002#post1711002).
Now I have a few questions about how to use/customize the IME.. Would appreciate if anyone had any suggestions..
1. Are there any shortcut keys (I mean on the hard keyboard) that I can use with this (Asukal's) IME?
For example, a key to switch between English/Japanese input, or letters/number/symbols, or hiragana/katakan, or to auto-convert to kanji, etc.
2. My hard keyboard seems to always be typing in Japanese. Is there any way to tell it to type in English?
3. For Japanese input, is there any way to use the JIS keyboard layout (JIS配列), on both hard and soft keyboard? The hard keyboard defaults to romaji, while the soft keyboard offers a choice between romaji and 50-sound system (50音配列).
4. Is there any way to look up kanji by radical? I thought it's one of the standard features of Windows IME, but couldn't find it here.
5. When I use handwriting, the lines are so thin, it's hard to see what I'm writing. Is there any way to make the lines look thicker?
Thank you!

from this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426281&highlight=BJK_HTC_Ez%2A
When you have numbers, than change to a other keyboard and write one or two words. after this, you change the keyboard again and it works.
If have the same problem with gullum Ez 1.5 keyboard. Now i have BJK Keyboard and german language pack and it works fine

By default the HD2 keyboard comes with 5 languages. Does any one know how to incorporate additional languages? I am specifically interested about the greek language.
I also are intrested in alternetive language keyboard settings. I want Swedish, and that im thinking of keyboard support for Bluetooth Keyboards. External BT keyboards works great, but cant se that im using a Swedish Keyboard. We have the darn å,ä,ö thats messing up the usability for me.
Any Ideas?
Thnx in advance

I'm also looking for a swedish keyboard! PLEASE!!
These subjects are addressed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5138044 for HTC LEO.
Use the search tool on the top bar with key words like t9, xt9 or even et9 and your preferred language. You might find a suitable solution on another device's topics.
Also, I asked makeveral to implement a selection tool on his BsB app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5136662. If you think it's a goo idea, add a post to his topic saying so. Good luck!
Use Fingerkeyboard 2.1 for additional languages... its free and has a much better interface than the standard keyboard. You can switch between languages easily...
Dear Sir,
I know, it is a very common question BUT I have a problem with it. Since I had Qtek 9100 I do know about thing or two considering keyboard layout. But, again, Rafael seams to me a lot different than my ol' 9100.
First thing's first, I don't know witch keyboard layout is printed on keyboard. I am attaching an image of keyboard, and I am grateful for providing me this useful info.
Link:
Second, if someone can give me a short tutorial how to change layout I would be most grateful for that.
I do know how to change keyboard on qtek 9100, but it seams that this change is a bit more complicated, and I've spent about two days trying to change the keyboard.
Thank you
This is the sprint keyboard and u can change the layout with a program called TarusBullba Tilt keyboard fix. i had the same problem and that worked
I've installed keyboard fix, it isn't remapping them to fit properly. Numerical pad that is on the upper row of keyboard with TarasBulba fix is located on the right middle part of keyboard.
Is there a registry fix for remapping the keyboard?
Is the keyboard Swedish, Finnish or else?
Thank you
Mine is english and just works. U may also try some options in AdvancedConfig but i'm not sure if it will help.
