[Q] Flashed wrong tar file!

I flashed a vibrant tar file by mistake. Can I save my phone or am I screwed?

Step #6. Download ODIN and flash stock images back.

Make sure that you lock the bootloader before you Odin back to stock.

Hey guys, I'm trying to back to stock and unrooted. I'm selling my phone and need to have it back to original, but am not sure how to do it. I'm currently running Sky Jelly Bean 4.1.2. Can anyone help on how to go back to stock. Thanks in advance.

You can use the instuction in vincoms stickies, you download the stock firmware and flash it with odin, instruction are in the link, go to restore to stock section.

Hotfile.com has apparently been taken down permanently. You'll have to find another way (I'm still searching.).

you need to create a free account b4 doing that
files are now hosted at terafile which requires another account to be created

Sorry for not reading the forum. I just broke my tmobile phone and need to order a new one ASAP. Root is a must for me. Can you please shortly let me know will I be able to root any Note 5 SM-N920T or not?

Yes it can be rooted but you're going to have to do some reading and research. There's no quick "one click root" method.

I don't know about the other carriers versions but the T-Mobile version can be.

Thanks a lot, already ordered the phone online. I saw a sticky in this forum to root and I guess that's the one I'll use unless you have any other recommendations. By the way, the link you posted earlier doesn't work.

Rooting this phone is easy. Make sure you have Samsung drivers installed, download Odin, download custom recovery, Odin custom recovery, download and flash systemless root. Done.
Do a search and you'll find what you need.

Please be aware that you will lose Samsung Pay by tripping Knox and there's no way of getting it back. You will also lose Android Pay while rooted.
