Beyondpod Video Issue - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Themes and Apps

Does anyone on this forum use beyondpod and have problems with video podcasts not in sync with the audio? My video is always about 3 seconds faster than the audio. Is there anyway to fix this? I never had these issues with my iPhone. Is it possible the processor is too slow to keep audio in sync? Really a shame because I really like this podcatcher.
Also, when will the note start getting apps that take advantage of the higher resolution screen?

The best PDA for music playback, no hissing!

I have a MDA Touch and will be upgrading in the very near future. I was hoping someone could offer me a little advice over Music Playback.
I use the Touch a lot for music playback and have Audio Manager, Coreplayer, Mortplayer, SRSWOW and Pocket Player installed. All of these different players suffer from the same problem, a slight hiss on all audio tracks which is not noticable on a dedicated MP3 player such as an IPOD or Creative.
I have done various searches on these and other forums and this hiss is often put down to a lesser quality audio chip on board the PDA. Not to be confused with the hiss from bluetooth headsets, I use a set of wired headphones and have also found that the better the quality of headphones the more noticable the hiss. I tend to agree with the explanation that the hardware doesn't have a good dedicated sound chip.
The problem I have is that the hiss problem comes up in different forums for several HTC PDA's and is certainly not isolated to the Touch. This is were I would like your advice if anyone knows of a PDA that does not suffer from this problem.
Please don't advise me to just use an MP3 Player or buy an N95. Although music is the main thing I use on my PDA, Windows mobile is a must for all the other tools I need and I would prefer to use one device only and one that at least plays music without problems.
Many thanks in advance.
re:
I don't think pda designed for mp3 playback.
You should take your pda to repair service maybe something inside were broken
All modern pocket pc's are designed so that they can play back MP3's, it's just that it seems several are not optimized to play them to the high standard of a dedicated MP3 player. It's not often the software that causes this but the hardware. I am looking for a Pocket PC that comes close to the standard of a dedicated player.

Is there a wm6 MP3 player that can play 2x speed at "Regular Tone"?

Is there currently an MP3 player for the WM PPC that can change the playback speed and make it sound like "Regular Tone"? In other words, not sound like "chipmunks"?
On my PC, I use KMPLAYER to play school lecture tapes at 1.5x or 2x speed. It's control box has an option for "Regular Tone" so the voice sounds just like the normal person speaking, with no "chipmunk" effect from the faster speed.
For my htc Herald/Wing, I'm currently using TCPMP, but anything over 1.25x speed sounds like chipmunks, so it is useless for spoken words (audio books etc). I don't know how the KMPlayer on my PC does the Tone/frequency correction at faster speeds. Anyone know of other ppc audio/video software that can change the playback speed?
I posted the question in another thread, but nobody answered, so here's hoping this repost gets a hit.

Using the Fuze for music; a few questions.

Hey, everyone!
So I've been using the Fuze for a while, and while I'm very impressed with how well it plays music (the last exposure I had to listening to music on a phone was not a good one...), I'm a bit bitter about the shortcomings I've run across on the simpler things. I wonder if anyone here could answer these questions:
* Does anyone know an app or background service that lets me adjust volume with the screen OFF? It's a bit inconvenient to have to unlock the phone every time I want to adjust the volume.
* Does anyone know of a lean and mean music player that supports gapless playback AND has at least a basic library that isn't slow? I tried Pocket Player (horrible library performance), Kinoma (no gapless and horribly laggy), S2P (great library, but graphics were distracting and no gapless), HTC's built-in player (pretty good, but no gapless) and Windows Media (need I say more?) and all of the other apps I've heard about don't catalog music.
Thanks!

for ur first question i HIGHLY doubt theres an app unless u have S2U2 as an unlock app, then u can change the settings where u can change the volume without unlocking
for ur second question, try nitrogen player, never tried it but i heard alot of good reviews for it http://www.dewantoro.net/search/nitro+player+WM
the only i use on my TP for music was the TF3D player and i havent experienced any problems with it, but give nitrogen player a try...
Libraries are going to be slow if you have a large collection. Try TCPMP or mortplayer-they use a file explorer instead of a library. The downside is that you can't play genres or all your music. You need to make playlists.
PocketPlayer has gapless playback and many other features. The only problem is that it is not integrated into manila.

Low Battery Disables Music Player

Has anyone else notices that once the Captivate hits 10% battery (or maybe it's less than 10%) you can no longer use the "Music Player" application?
Any way around this?
I wanted to continue using the Music Player in order to drain the phone to 0% but couldn't once I hit 9 or 10%. I could use Pandora though.
Yep, stock music player will not allow you to listen to music under 10%. I'm sure music apps will let you though. I'm using mixzing and it's pretty good. A bit choppy though if you let it update your album artwork all the time.

I wonder if the stock app can be hacked to disable this annoying "feature". Other than that I actually like the stock music app better than the couple other market music apps I've tried.
It also affects the camera and video player--which is annoying. I mean, I realize the battery is low, but I might still want to take a picture, or listen to music. 10% of the battery remaining should still be plenty to listen to music for a while.
Any apps outside of the stock ones don't prevent you from using them though. Guess I need to find a camera alternative.
The only reason I chose a third party music app was because my Captivate skips and stutters when playing music and I heard that mixzing/double twist don't do that. Otherwise I'd stick with the default player because it's pretty good.

Are you sure its not another program interfering with the function of the music player? I multi-task with the music player in the background often, and never had any skipping.
Do any of you guys using the music player have problems sorting your music by artist? How much music do you have on your phone? I like the stock player too, but its useless to me since it crashes every time I try to sort by artist.

I'm pretty sure it's not another program that's causing the skipping. There are lots of posts about this on androidforums and most people are not running any background apps/used ATK to kill more resource intensive apps. I'm wondering if there are hidden system processes that make it stutter like that.
In general I listen to music at work. I'm not surfing or multitasking on my phone. I'm only listening to music. Yet it still skips/stutters. I wonder if background processes like syncing or something is upsetting the music player but I doubt it. Besides, it just shouldn't skip to begin with.
This needs to be disabled, and now. It does the same thing to the camera, and I was at a concert last night and it wouldn't let me open the camera because I had less than 15% battery. I didn't give a **** about my phone for calling, I wanted pictures of the last 3 bands playing. To make it better, it had been bright as hell all day, and the last 3 sets were as the sun was finally going down and they had really cool stage setups that I would have loved to have been able to take pictures or videos of.
F*** you whoever thinks they should choose FOR ME what I should do with my battery. This is bull****. I'll use every last drop of power taking pictures WHILE listening to music if I want.
If I sound a little annoyed, it's because I am. I had seen this before, at least for the music player, but wasn't thinking about it. I watched my battery all day to make sure I had enough to get pictures of all the bands playing, and 15% was enough for a couple of pictures for the last few bands. So yeah, I'm annoyed. I don't know if this is a Samsung thing, or an Android thing, but it needs to be gone.

Low freq. distortion with Sense Music Player

Has anyone noticed low frequency distortion when playing MP3s (and perhaps other audio formats) in the Sense Music Player? It's subtle, but definitely there. It's more noticeable in music with lots of bass. I know it's the Sense Music Player's fault because PowerAMP sounds just fine playing the exact same MP3s. Since SRS WOW can only be enabled in the Sense Music Player, that's the one I want to use. PowerAMP's equalizer, despite what people may say, is garbage. Aside from the low frequency distortion, the Sense Music Player sounds way better than PowerAMP when SRS is enabled.
The distortion I'm talking about doesn't seem to interfere much with the actual music quality. It's just an annoying, low-pitched popping noise that you can hear in the background so to speak. I hear the sound regardless of whether SRS is enabled or not. The equalizer can be on or off too. It's even there when listening to music via Bluetooth A2DP. I have several high quality headphones and the distortion effect is present in all of them.
I've tried several different ROMs and kernels (including the stock) and the issue has been present in all of them. Has anyone had the same experience? To be clear, I'm not looking for advice on what to use besides the Sense Music Player to avoid this issue. I've tried them all and they're all garbage. The Sense Music Player with SRS WOW enabled is the closest thing to my HD2 with the SRS WOW HD software audio driver. The HD2 (running WinMo 6.5.3) sounds better than any portable music player I've ever heard. You have to know what equalizer settings to use in the SRS control panel for the type of music you're listening to, of course. I just want to see if others can confirm my findings. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I find the sense player to be almost worthless, particularly in dock mode. Is suggest go.do.g another player.

You must not have read my entire post. I specifically said that I'm not looking for someone to recommend using another music player. I am concerned about the sound quality. I know of no other music player that can take advantage of SRS WOW capabilities of this phone. Aside from the distortion I described, the sound quality of the Sense player is better than anything else available.
I have noticed weird pops too when I'm using Pandora
my Tbolt is bone stock
