Here are some themes for 4EXT Recovery Touch that I threw together. Flash through recovery. To minimize confusion, you'll need to flash these as a .zip in Recovery. Don't try to flash them through "Themes and More" in 4EXT Recovery Updater, it won't work. You can flash them through the updater, but you need to choose "Recovery -> Install zip from sdcard". It looks like you're trying to flash from the updater? Try booting to recovery and flashing there. I think I flashed mine from the updater..I don't remember. Let me try again
edit: you can flash it from updater...just flash the zip like a normal mod from sd (Recovery - install zip from sd), rather than the 'install themes' section of the updater

Thats ridiculous. Xda app should see them as the links they are. Xda app does a few weird things that pisses me off though - sorry about the short answer..didn't realize the xda app was stupid in that regard. Glad you like them

I think it was because I downloaded both and one was "bootloader-1" and not just "bootloader". I'm using VB final

Yup, well I have a couple of animations almost done that I done myself for individual users its kind of cool to have your phone boot to a personalized boot of your own

The World's First ANDROID Recovery Based Filemanager
Have you ever wanted to run a file manager app in CWM? Who hasnt? I know I have well here it is the one and only Aroma Filemanager.
What is this?This is a .zip file that you download and flash just like any other rom/kernel/mod/fill-in-the-blank flashable zip. Once 'installed' it will give you the ability to edit your file system right in recovery!
How do we use it?Just as stated above. Download and flash just like any flashable .zip in recovery and then watch AROMA Filemanager do it magic!
Will it brick my phone?AROMA Filemanager itself wont brick your phone. However you deleting vital system apps/libs/files/etc could possibly brick your phone or leave it severely disabled.
What are the advantages of this app?Well first off you can edit the ENTIRE Android File system in recovery. This is an amazing app and very versatile.
What if I have issues with this app?Well you got a couple choices, you cant post your issues here and I will do my best to help resolve them. Or you can join the AROMA IRC channel for direct assistance. The channel is #aroma and its on Freenode.

I flashed dta2sd without checking first but it worked fine for me.
Only thing weird is that some of the status bar icons sometimes, randomly it seems, revert back to stock ones and then after a bit go back to the ones you have on by default...weird.

I fully understand your concern and what could happen to my account. But I've always wanted to give something to the people who are way too lazy to find it. This is basically PAC with PA Pref. and a few other things. This just makes it a lot easier for people who are too lazy too try and find the apk and put it in their /system/apps/ folder. Hopefully if someone from PA reads this they won't shut down the thread or ban my account. I know I should get permission but.. It just makes it a lot easier for other people. Putting what people like in Roms is my favorite thing so far and I will go as far as I can to make sure people are happy with Android and their Rom. I mean I work as hard as I can to make everything with their electronic devices From Apple, to Linux, and finally to Windows amazing! I hate Apple and Windows but I still try to make everyone happy. I even recommend Raspberry Pi to help teach kids about coding in linux and somewhat windows in my school. I know this is not much of a speech but I'm just trying to keep this rom up so people can just be happy. If this thread was shut down I would be distraught. This rom actually began just me wanting PA Pref on my infuse. But before I get off-topic I just want ParanoidAndroid to keep this thread up.

Your thoughts of wanting to share by putting this ROM together was in the right place.
No one will fault you for that.
However, in the ROM, you have included other developers work.
You may need their actual permission if you want to use it.

For Use With The HTC Doubleshot Only (MyTouch4GSlide)
I found many people do not realize this is possible, but changing your splash screen is easy, and I just made it easier!
With this easy to use Aroma Package, simply flash in recovery like any ROM, you will have options to flash a new splash screen and or bootanimations to your phone.
There are plans to add more splash screen options (currently around 30) and more bootanimations (about a dozen right now)
as well as add more options such as sounds, wallpapers, etc. anything that isn't ROM dependent can be added.
This Can Be Used On Any ROM For The Doubleshot! So flash on!
Requests will be taken and feedback is well appreciated, let me know what you're interested in!

Hey man this is great now got way easier.
Have a request can I get a subaru boot anim. And a baltimore ravens one to please with splash. There are alot of cool pics on google any would be cool.

Seems to be working well. Any way we can preview the splash screens / bootanimations instead of flashing them one by one?

so far my favorite splash screen is the android in ascii art and boot animation is the android green helix. Wicked stuff!
