hey confirmed working just used the apk and swapped it out on some old scripts... works for any 3.5 rom ... I tried it on the
3D and the 4G

how do you replace the origional mms.apk app, cause when i replace it by overwriting it, the app never shows back up, what do i do? how do i use it?

i was in Dom Rep when this file was posted, couldnt test it till yesterday...
it didnt work at first, I actually had to change my apn file for backup and restore and changed one setting,
http://mms.metropcs.net/mmsc to http://mms.metropcs.net:3128/mmsc
i had to do this for sense 3.0 and sense 3.5 roms...
i like the sense 3.5 roms cause it works with wifi on...
got it working with NRG and Mikrunny, works fine...

sometimes for sense 3.0and 3.5 roms, make sure u lower the maximum size to (500k) and priority settings (LOW)

after u flash the script, goto messaging, settings, multimedia messages(mms), connection settings = make sure it has the metro settings, some dev have mms proxy and mms port for sprint,
that is when i use apnbackuprestore, delete the apn's and restore the apns I have, with the xml extensions, the scripts used to work, but i think something with metro changed, put the 2 files 3_0mms.metropcs.net_3128mmsc.xml and the 3_0mms.metropcs.net_mmsc.xml into a folder on the sdcard called apnbackuprestore..
so when u restore u should have both of these files should show up. then i have been using 3_0mms.metropcs.net_3128mmsc.xml for sense 2.1 3.0 3.5, both of my apn files have the mms proxy and mms port for metro...

i edited bloody's script for 3.0, added the mms.apk, then unrar the apn file and put it in the apnbackuprestore folder on the sdcard, delete the apns and restore this one attached.

yea,even when i got it to work i tried to click on settings in my messages and it would fc,but i got a different mms apk that looks the same to work with no fc

With the help of Tibedabeeto and Papa Smurf151 you can now enable 270 degree rotation in roms that don't have it enabled.
- They found out what was needed to enable it, all I did was make an update zip and test it out
Simply boot into recovery and flash the attached zip to replace the framework.jar file. (reboot may, and most likely will take a little bit of time since Framework has been modified)
Then under display > Enable/Check the orientation box
Done
Attached pictures are from Fresh 2.0d, but it was also tested on Infinitefx45's stock rom.

I figured. If I have time ill crack open the classes.dex file from his framework and see if I can pull it and put it in a framework for sense

Not sure. If ur using an aosp rom use the framework.jar from darchdroid. That's the one u want but u can try this one and see

Here's an AOSP version I whipped up. Tested with Buufed 2.0.3
I did not do the modding myself. This is the framework.jar from DarchDroid. I just threw it into a signed zip.
Was there any real mod work done here, or was the framework.jar file just pulled from Flipz's ROM and added to an update zip? If so, you should probably mention this, just sayin, as Flipz if the one who ported this original feature from the Eris leak that had this feature built in.
In terms of actually modding to allow for rotation, a search for 'orientation' in the decompiled files should get you closer to what you are looking for.

agreed man. i just told them where to get it from. No real mod work but just found out where it was kept and put into an update.zip file.
but ill look for the 360 and try to pull it from the aosp and put it into a sense framework.jar file

nfinites rom is deodexed and did u use the one from the first post or the later one that says 360. cause the 360 one does not work on that rom. the one on the first post is the one that works

I beleive he is using the odex versoin of my rom this is why it didnt work he would need to switch to the deodex versoin first or maybe I'll see what I can do to odex this framework for him.

After the I flashed this framework file I get a weird glitch (Things get out of place) every time I drag down the notification bar, and the phone is in landscape mode to the right. Is this a bug? Should I wipe Rotate settings in Recovery??

How is it working other then MMS. I personally could care less about MMS and all the please send to 10 more people posts .. LOL
I'm pretty sure this guy installed the CM 6 Theme port over Eclair ROM from the Fascinate forums. The reason MMS doesn't work is because it's configured for Verizon's settings. Although I don't think it will fix it, you can try copying a stock apns.conf file into /system/etc/ and overwriting the old one there.
MMS doesnt work on the fascinate yet with the cm6. or any froyo.....

not sure. but it's pretty painless to save the original, and restore. or make a nandroid backup to restore from if it doesn't suit your needs.

The dancing droid is: wen ever you get a call from a number that you do not have in your contact list, instead of having the default still android pic, you'll get the dancing droid.
I've decompiled phone.apk, and every one has in the res\raw folder the mp4 vid of the dancing droid, so I believe that we must just enable it in some way.
If any1 can help me with that Id be very appreciated.

its on coredroid i tried the apk on my tmous de-odex stock rom but no go, in fact the dancing android i believe is in all roms it have to be enable to use it some how i have the mp4 in my phone apk but cant enable it

I managed to have the dancing droid enabled, but the phone.apk was always crashing.
I've also talked with several diferent "devs" that didnt want to help, only SEO help'ed me a bit, my thanks to him.

If you mean that when you compile the .smali then...
Compile it as usual, remove classes.dex from said apk
Go to original deodexed apk
drag and drop the modded classes.dex into the original apk
Reboot and wipe dalvik.
It should recollect certs on the apk if you run a logcat and keep a beady eye

Didn't work on ARHD 4.1.3, it must have changed how it works with 3.5 Sense ROM's. Shame that.
Hey guys thought I would make a thread for the Inverted Gapps flashable zip that I made for both Virtuous Inqusition and also just recently for InsertCoin.
The link below has 4 zips in it. 2 for Virtuous and 2 for InsertCoin. Each rom has an option to have the keyboard installed or not. With InsertCoin you must have already installed Shnizolns AOSP theme and you MUST have installed the AOSP messaging and calendar. I know that the Virtuous zips work great was running that rom for quite some time with these. I am currently running InsertCoin with the AOSP theme and these Inverted apps and all seems okay. Please let me know if there is an issue that I need to address. Happy flashing.

Mms works on trips 007. And it sends mms' that's the only one I used.

Yes it should work just fine. Just installed on IC 4.5.3 and don't see any app changes that would effect this with 4.5.4.
