[Q] Cant register my SGS2 - General Questions and Answers

So I've been trying to register my phone all night. When I enter my S/N it says invalid serial number. I am 100% positive that i'm getting the right numbers in. I even had a buddy enter it in. It also says please enter IMEI or HEX number. Am I suppose to add them both in? The s/n and the IMEI? Whats the deal? Also what is a HEX number? Any help would be appreciated.

Harrier Serial number

I have a Harrier pocket pc, I need the serial number for it, I have been told it must be just numbers but the serial on the phone has letters too. I have tried the *#06# combination but that doesnt work as it just brings up the phone. Please help me to get the number. I think it must be the imei number but I dont know for sure and I have no ideas.

Dialer Code/New phone number

Hello, I tried to change my phone number on sprints site to a new one. For some reason my phone would not accept this new number. Is there a way to manually enter the number into the phone with a dialer code? I have the MSID(IMSI) it gave me after I did the switch. Any help? Thanks
You cannot just choose a New Number. A new number will be randomly assigned to you. Check THIS see if it helps you out.

Unusual number was dialed from my phone!?

Hello All,
I picked up my phone to make a call and noticed there is a weird number that was dialed last week. I have searched on google and no hits and it is not a USSD code either, that number is simply "-1". What's more puzzling is that you can't dial a dash sign (-) on the pad. When I try dialing that number, I get "Connection problem or invalid MMI code." which is normal since those codes start with a "#" or "*".

The IMEI # should be on the back of the phone. Text is pretty small.
^ What he said.
Backside of the phone, at the bottom.
You can find both IMEI and S/N there (Very transparent text though so not easy to read)

Cool, but I don't know what format it needs to enter on Samsung website, I registered a Samsung account and try to register this phone but when I am entering and clicking submit its not accepting it, if I need to include slash(/) in imei number which I enter and also how many digits long IMEI numbers are.
Thanks for reply fuya
You should only need to type in the 15 digits

Thanks

Phone Number History/Record

I am aware that Phone numbers get reassigned once they get disconnected or go inactive.
Is there a way/service that will tell you the history behind your phone number?
Like if its been assigned to someone else or who had it before you?
Kinda like a background check for your phone number?
Im trying to locate a lost friend and the phone number I have for him doesn't appear to be his/not working anymore.
Any help is appreciated.
