Does anyone know what app in Android market can edit photos with the function of showing one colour in the photo only? for example, if i wan red colour to appear, so only red will show in the photos, the rest will go into black and white...
i tried a few apps, but mostly is using brush to brush the area i want to show colour. I prefer the preset colour to show or only one colour to show..
does anyone know any?

Try Vignette.
Effects/color highlights/London
Black&white with only red showing.
Hope that will do the trick?
thank you so much..i tried vignette.. it got the function i mention.. the app is fine to use.. but result is not so good..any other app? i try find many but all is brush type..
PicSay Pro does this - it calls it Pop Colors. Takes the whole pic back to B/W, then adds colour back in where you select.
i try picsay pro..but it need to paint out the area in order to make the colour come out.. does any other app which only select the preset colour, lets say red, yellow, green, blue, then it will automatic come out those colour? sometimes in one area, it got many colour. so paint out hardly can only make one colour come out.. any other recommendation?

I don't know of an photo edit app. But camera 360 has the feature that does exactly what you want.

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.colorsplashphoto.android&hl=en
you have to paint it though.
i dont think there are any photo editing app that will eliminate all other color automatically except the one you choose.
I think Camera 360 might be what you are looking for  Try the magic color filter..
I use it on a day to day basis and it's really great app. Since this is my first post, i cannot post a link to google play but search for camera 360 and you'll find it.

I made a notepad similar to iPhone in appearance but more features. You can find it in the market by searching for notepad classic or here is a link:

I'll test it out. I'll post again tomorrow with an opinion.
Seems to be a good app. It crashed once when I first installed but I think it was my phone I had a lot of apps open. Also note that I'm on cyan 7.03 with s2e installed. Also the app has ads but I like the placement it does not interfere with the app.

This works pretty good. I think the text color shouldnt be black though. Seems a bit darker than everything else. Also would be better to have date on the left, aligned with the body text. The time and date blend together a bit since they are the same color and size, but i think just separating them might work better. I think you should change the color of the home screen, its really close to the paper color, and it could be really cool if it looked like a notepad cover. The only other thing i can think of is changing the grey header to a yellow thats darker than the paper background. Might make it look more integrated. Changing text size might be cool in a next version...
But so far its a good simple app. Well done.
Sometimes when we read pdf books or surf on the internet at night in the dark environment, the while background make us uncomfortable. Of course we may use screen filter but it lowers the light and make the words unclear. So is there any app that can invert screen color like ios does? I think android need such app too.
RenderFX widget on cyanogen roms or (I believe) chainfire3D does this.
Cm's widget seems only to add another color on the screen as a filter but never reverse all the color.
Hey, I'm looking for exactly the same thing! It would be quite a good battery saver for the AMOLED screen on my Captivate.
If someone makes/finds an app that can do that, then it would be totally awesome!
-Mike
I'd really like this as well. Can anyone recommend an app?
Thread Revive!
I would be a happy willing customer of an app that can invert the colors of the display- like PowerStrip on Windows. I surely don't know of one though.
Total Screen Control just adds colored filters.
I don't believe this is that easy.
Probably would require more than just an app, i.e. a custom kernel.
Some apps like google+, google voice, market 3.4.4, google music 4.1.5.12 can be found themed for more battery on rujelus22 homepage!
rujelus22.com/evo/
please thanks if you like
I very much want this, too! I just found this thread searching for such an app. Not only would it be great for night time viewing and amoled power savings, but it would also provide some wear leveling/un-burn-in effects for the notification bar, keyboards, etc.! Say you use the inverted mode 50% of the time, it would completely counter burn-in from the other 50%.
Please, someone, do it and I'll pay handsomely. I'll pitch in $20 to a bounty, anyways.
It should be almost as easy as CyanogenMod's render effects or Chainfire 3D's night mode. If they can take each pixel's intended color, calculate that minus green and blue, and output the result, they should be able to take the color, calculate the inverse, and output that, instead. I'm not a programmer, though, so I may be off base.

that only overlay the color. the bright background still bright which become glaring at high.
I search on Google play and found a few theme that does seem to invert the color but require root and special ROM that can do the invert.

Haha Working on removing the dividers between messages in the main page and will get the chat bubbles changed man. Stay tuned im going to theme all stock apps like this, so they are all neutral with no madness colours.Do you mean the same blue as the scroller down the side?
Anybody who has dug around a bit will notice the yellow is still there in one place, and the first person to tell where that is will recieve the Apk without it.
Open to any suggestions...
Well I can't find it, but the emergency alerts crashes the program on my phone so perhaps that's where the yellow it's hiding.
Suggestions? Anything but grey, blue, purple, soft colors not quite pastel but like your grey

Can you explain the crashing please?
This apk was designed for D855 only and uses the stock app from that phone as its base.
Emergency alerts is not an option on my D855 in settings (it doesnt exist) so thats probably why.
What variant of the phone do you have?
Also i cant make sense of your suggestions... Are you saying you like this grey, or not lol

it's a US thing I think, I'm on ATT, d850.
I can see now how that color thing was confusing... it was late lol. I don't mind the grey it's just lifeless. the lg g3 is full of wonderful colors, I was suggesting something like purple or blue in the same tone as your grey, not bold but not quite pastel either. if you wanted to let me know how you changed it, pm?, I would be happy to create a few different colors

That would explain why it doesnt work with D855 international messaging app lol. Unfortunately its not something i can just explain, even via pm as its pretty labourious and not that easily put in to words, especially as im not that literate lol
Pretty soon ill knock out a whole bunch of colours for all stock apps, starting with this one i just need the time. Im looking to do a pitch black app set as well, nice and black and saturated like my galaxy S3 days
Ill do a purple and a blue and run them past you

It's a shame Samsung removed the ability to change the colour of the SMS speech bubbles. There's quite a few fairly good grey ones let down by having hard to read SMS!

I guess it's to sell more themes? A fully customiseable skin would be nice though!
There is a stock one made by Samsung, its jet black, To get an instant preview, goto "Accessibility" "Vision" and enable "negative colours"
If you like this look, then do the following, first turn off Negative Colours.
The theme is called High_Contrast_theme, you need to be logged into your Samsung account.
then goto "Settings" "Wallpapers and Themes"
Then "Themes" (at the bottom) "Search" (at the top) for "High Contrast" download and apply this...
This makes the system menus black, and so for the phone, contacts, calendar, calculator and notification shade.
Then its like someone cut your circulation - made your world turn black !!
feedback your thoughts. After smashing the "thanks" button =)

hi,

No need. Post editing just kill the saturation. Gray scale is preserved.
Shooting it as a raw file will yield better results after post editing.

The built in camera app doesn't do it. Lots of third party camera apps in the store do. Or you can use an image editor after taking a colour photo to make it black and white. Google Photos can remove saturation or use one of several filters.

Snapseed can do it post editing. There are simpler tools if you just want to kill the saturation.
Being able to adjust the contrast curve be nice... When editing color images I normally kill the saturation to initially dial in the contrast curve using just the grey scale ie a b&w image, then dial up the saturation to the best level.
It's really not a big deal...
