dear op. I recommend you take a little extra care in reading around and understanding everything before trying anything special with your phone. We are here to help when you encounter problems but every question you have asked has already been answered. You don't seem to know what you are doing, or even talking about, so if you continue to mess with your phone you may possibly brick it. I know I sound like another douche telling you to read more but in this case, and for your sake, I am ok with that

Then keep reading until you have a better understanding of what it is you are doing. The more you read the more it will sink in and you will start to remember. Slow down a bit too, you seem to get very worked up and can't communicate your problems very well. In this thread i can't even tell if your still having an issue or not. I think I know what you did and that everything is ok but.... Anyways like I said "i just sound like another douche telling you to read more". I am telling you this to your benefit not trying to flame just trying to help sooooo you don't get flamed and I hope it works.

Wtf battery?? Make up your mind.

Ok so this is a first.. I just watched my battery jump from 69 to 41 when I unplugged it. Plugged it back in and then it jumped to 56, unplugged and then 42, now its at 54.
What.. the.. eff..
Any ideas? Running faux rom, oc at 1.2 Max.
Blame the battery drivers, can't fix it.
I'm guessing you don't read. If you did you would know lg ****ed up the battery drivers and every rom for this device has Incorrect battery readings. Reboot phone for correct battery readings
Use the search button next time

Hey jackass, cut the useless sarcastic comments. Its people like you that need to stay the hell away from this forum. This is a Q&A area. Maybe you failed to read before entering.
But anyway. As I continue, I have never seen a jump like that is all. I know the drivers are useless, but its usually just a 1-3% decrease. Not a massive jump like I explained.
Was just trying to see if anyone saw this perticular type of problem.
Just wiped battstats, we'll see if that fixes it.
Wiping won't fix it. There is no fix until LG releases better battery drivers.
Lucky you, my phone doesn't like to charge when it's completely off anymore. Shut it off with 45%, put it into the charger overnight, wake up in the morning... hey look my phone is on 45% still.
Heh, i guess I don't mind charging it while on, but that annoys me

Happened to me a couple of times. Specially when the phone has died, I plug it in, come back in a few hours. Still at 4%!!
That was with both stock and Faux.

exhibit C: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059402&highlight=battery+readings
all gave explanation to battery reading problem and all i used is the search button
Actually suprah, none of those explained the jump that I mentioned. What I explained was quite specific. I understand the drivers are not communicating properly, I'm pretty sure everyone knows that. But I haven't seen a jump from such extremes within 30 seconds. Find me a post on that.
Otherwise your just an egocentric prick that has no useful insight and only feels the need to ***** and moan. You just might need to stay away from q&a all together.

[Q] USB glitching?

Ok i had this problem with my first infuse did the manufactures warrenty on it, but this time i have to pay which i dont want to pay 125$!!
Ok the problem is the USB debug and USB connection keep bouncing off and on in my notifications bar when my damn phone isnt even plugged in.... ok any solutions out there to fix this without having to pay 125$
Ehhh can anyone help with this? I know its late in the US. Sure there will be plenty of answers first thing in the am.
Sorry, I know I'm useless. Just thought I'd respond. :-D

I've literally, JUST asked this question like 3days ago. Its not even 2pages deep in this thread.... but instead of leaving it at that, ill still try and help,
What I was told is, the USB is somehow damaged, pins touching each other or something similar to that effect, if GENTLY cleaning it doesn't solve the problem, you'll have to replace the port yourself, (10$ part, some soldering tools/skill, and patience,) or RMA it. I personally am going to repair it. Part should be here in a couple days. And ill let you know how it goes.
Also, idk if you've tried it yet or not. But the problem with the USB extends beyond an annoying USB notification, it thinks its ALWAYS plugged in, making it difficult to power back on if shut off. And making it difficult to get into recovery mode(because it thinks its plugged in, so it goes to download mode.) >.< I hope this helps, search my profile to find my other thread if you feel like it, but it won't be much help.
Sorry if this isn't good news :-(

OK buddy, I've got an update for ya, wasn't too hard, but I was able to replace the port on my phone. You just gotta be SUPER patient, and don't let the board heat up too much. And it worked! If you need tips or have questions feel free ;-)

Thanks, if you can shoot me a message on what is needed an how to approach fixing it that would be great, I ran into another problem and I believe its caused by the same USB problem, the screen went completely black this is the second time and second phone that has had USB issues then turns into screen going black.

[Q] Low Memory & Flash turns phone off

My fiance's charge keeps flashing low memory when he plays games or gets on internet. He had one before this one and never had a problem. Any ideas on how to fix?
Also whenever he takes a picture, his phone cuts off and it won't turn back on unless he pulls battery. I've seen threads on Verizon saying a lot of peoples do that... ANd hit reset. That worked for two minutes and it's back to doing it again. I know people on here are always helpful =] His phone is stock. He won't let me root it. He's scared something will happen! UGH.
Thanks

Tell him to quit being such a *****.
The device will shut down when taking a picture with flash when the battery is too low-power draw is greater than the battery can provide at that point.
Low memory-not much you can do about it until rooted. Cut down in some active processes.

Use Titanium Backup PRO once you gain root to freeze bloatware apps that won't uninstall from the system. You'll gain a hell of a lot more memory by doing that.

Might Help With Some Soft Bricks

I was surfing the forums here and seen this and thought I would post it as it might help with some soft bricks, when fastboot is not wanting to work.

I take no responsibility if you try that and it damages your device.

Yeah after taking a closer look that does look more like a softbrick fix not a hardbrick fix.
Sorry everyone that was my bad, I asked alldoom65 to post this thinking it would help someone out of a hard brick, but I did not read close enough to see that the guy was stuck on M logo.... so everyone can slap me, not alldoom65.
Hey alldoom65, maybe change the title to indicate that this post is an alternate way out of a softbrick, when rsd does not see the phone, and you do not have the scripts. Not a hardbrick fix. you can edit the title in the go advanced button in the edit screen, I think.
Again sorry everyone, especially to you alldoom65.

So my A2 seems really dead for some reason. I had system 1 in BMM as Stock ICS rooted. System 2 blank and 3 PAC milestone RC1. Flashed a 4.3 font on system 1 accidentally and lost BMM. Had a day to get to a computer and try the windows.batch cuz not enough time for FXZ. No avail. Rebooted a couple times and now its a blank. Won't get into fast boot barely unless I have it plugged in while volume up n down while stuck on M. Plugged into PC I get the white led. But wall AC only brings me to M. Not battery charging. I don't get it. It can't be bricked. Can battery be done for? Wtf happened? I'm currently trying to get a Motorola branded USB wall AC charger to see if I can get it to at least charge to 5% and give the windows.batch a go again...

LIKE A BOSS! It's up and running! Thanks for the info dude...I did sum crazy surgery and took a huge gamble doing this but it worked like a lucky charm! AWESOME! Letting it charge cuz after the FXZ It's at 0%! Crazy! Letting it get to 100 before I even try rooting it. So glad I got my laptop back today too!!!
This is what the cord looked like after cutting and seperating/taping. I'm keeping this thing just in case I ever need it again! lol!

Wiping battery stats does nothing but delete a log file. Will not calibrate or anything of the sort.
Google it for those of you that dont believe.
But as far as the different readings. This device is so messed up with the BS that is put on it....mainly BMM. we nolonger have a standalone system, so nothing will ever be right. Call me old school. but first phone with BMM and worst phone I've ever had. Coinicidence? you tell me
Strange, my phone certainly isn't perfect, but I like it much more since installing BMM and custom roms. My battery life has suffered but I'm much happier the way it is.
My thoughts are dig in and fix it or flash back to stock. Nothing wrong with pointing out issues, but but it's not very productive to run custom software and just complain about how crappy it is.
Sent from my MB865 using xda app-developers app
Haha.. Guess its normal for multibooter to suffer this kinda stuff constant reboot and stuff.. Tho i think i only have this with one rom.. Im tryin to use other rom for a while and see the difference..
bmm and bs is the only way around so like or hate it.. Its a tool to at least feel what flashing means.. When I bought this phone I've see this coming but I took the risk..

Don't blame BMM, blame Motorola and the locked bootloader. If it wasn't for that we wouldn't have so many hoops to jump through just to flash these ROMs. You should instead, be thankful to whirleys for BMM and giving you a workaround so that you can have something other than MotoBlur running on your phone.
