I'm using Samsung nexus s phone. I have a doubt. While unlocking the screen i.e. while swiping from left to right it vibrates. Is there any way to disable that vibration while unlocking the screen? Please try and let me know if any. Thanks in advance

Don't think its easy to do so with the stock launcher/lockscreen, but easily done by using a replacement lock screen, golocker or milock or something like that.

Hello all,
I was wondering if there was a way to tamper with the slide to unlock so that we could button any size image that would respond just as well. So in essence we could make the screen a tap to unlock for those that wanted to. Is there any way to do this?

where can i find a unlocked screen applications? because I want to remove unlock screen. if it use lock screen then I cannot open the unlock screen because of freezing. Can anyone help? thank!

u can use bsb tweaks or cht to disable the lockscreen.. but for what? lol

Is there a way to bypass the swipe up lock screen after initially turning the screen on and going directly to the pattern lock screen? Annoying to have to unlock twice. Automatically did this when enabling pattern lock on my previous phone.
Any apps for this?

if you disable the sense lock screen you will have my problem... where there is still a 'slide to unlock' screen to which you cannot get rid of either... you can try a program 'antilock' and set it to skip the lock screen... but it kind of swipes the screen for you and you still see the screen then it dissappears

As above there isn't much you can do about it with the stock sense rom. Sense just isn't designed that way. Rejoicing the sense lock screen replaces it with the aosp one and also breaks the alarm clock.
On the other hand Cyanogenmod lets you disable the lock screen when pattern lock is enabled and many other lock screen customizations. If you aren't into rooting your phone its not really an answer though.

I too would like to remove lock screen so it can go straight to lock pattern. if you remove htclockscreen.apk you cant see who is calling you until you unlock screen. I think I read somewhere its because there no aosp roms out there for the sensation yet.

Look in the edit build promp thread in dev section set the associated press menu to unlock string to true ans reboot.. Then just press the menu button which will rid the slide to unlock page almost instantly thereby allowing for faster access... I find it the best work around for now

When i hit button to turn on phone it wants me to swipe then it showed pattern and i have to enter it... That is dumb.. I want to just be able to turn it on pattern and get in? Can i get the swipe out of the way or is this just the way it is????

Its very annoying to have to do it twice to get into the phone...
You'd have to install a different lock screen app. Or switch to using fingerprints, as you can then just press+hold to turn on and unlock the phone.

This is the main reason I use fingerprints. the double move to unlock drives me mental.

Worst feature ever, I eaven wrote to samsung support for this "bug" but no answer ever! I use pattern for last few years (galaxy s4, note 3 and 4) and it woarks great, now on note 5 and s7 after that swipe 1st is really going on my nervs and I have to use fingerprint instead

I am using the always info screen and thought it would be nice just to touch/click the Home Button and get straight to HomeScreen withot using a Fingerprint or passcode or anything else?
