touchscreeen not responding when screen locks - Samsung Galaxy SL i9003

help !
touchscreen not responding when i unlock the phone. (e.g. screen is off then when in lock screen nothing happens when i touch). i've already reflashed a dozen times to stock rom. it even happens in initial device set-up (wifi packet data etc) when screen auto locks.
it only happens when unlocking the screen. when i leave it on, play games, text, use internet, the screen always responds no problem.
update!
i found that if i charge it or plug a usb cable onto it, the screen responds again. now that's crappy. my phone turned into a wired device to work.

First, please don't post question in development section. You should post in general section.
Second, not quite understand ur problem.
You mean, when you lock your screen, (black screen) the screen not responding?
or when you want to unlock your screen, the screen not responding?

Wow...one more wrong thread...! Enjoy...!

you can flash XXKPE again with repartition?
anyway try this init.d by chainfire
Code:
echo 7025 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
echo 8002 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
echo 11001 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
echo 13030 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;
echo 14005 > /sys/class/touch/switch/set_touchscreen;

App2Date broke my auto keylock

I hope someone here can help me. I ran App2Date on my HTC HD2 where it became unresponsive, so I killed it. In hindsight, this was a foolish mistake as now the auto keylock on the phone doesn't kick in. If I leave the phone, the screen will dim, but it will stay like that instead of moving on to the lock screen. If I press the lock button, it will do so, but it is a pain that it doesn't do it automatically any more. I have since ran App2Date successfully all the way through, but the autolock problem is still there. I have the following registry settings set, which appear correct to me:
HCU \ ControlPanel \ Keybd
DefaultKeyLock=1
DeviceLockWhenSuspend=1
FrontKeyLEDEvent="IconLedOnEvent"
InitialDelay=375
IsUnicodeFromKeybd=0
LongEndFunction=1
MuteSwitch=1
RepeatRate=8
ShowWarningMsg=1
I have rebooted several times. App2Date must suspend the keylock while it is running, but does anybody know how it does this? I don't really want to have to factory reset to get out of this.
Thanks,
Cosmosmoss.
Just in case somebody has the same problem, it turned out to be a simple case of changing Settings -> Sounds & Display -> "Turn off device if not used for ..."

[Q] Tactile Feedback unresponsive

The tactile feedback on my Echo has stopped responded and I'm not sure why.
I've Googled and found nothing about it. Could it be a bad Echo or would a factory reset be helpful?

Need Help

ok i dont know if its my battery or my phone but lately my phone will just turn off when i activate the data or wifi on the phone after a couple of minutes. it stays on when i dont activate the wifi or data anyone else ever had this problem.
Capturing logcat would be very helpful. When you say "turns off" which of the following do you mean?
The phone freezes with the screen off (still responds to adb, for example)
The phone "crashes" and I have to manually turn it back on with the power button
The phone spontaneously reboots
I'd suggest aLogrec or, if you have a terminal installed,
Code:
# logcat -v time > /mnt/sdcard/logcat.log &
# cat /proc/kmsg > /mnt/sdcard/kmsg.log &
(Those can create some pretty big files if it takes a while to see the behavior you are experiencing.)
•The phone "crashes" and I have to manually turn it back on with the power button
ok i will get some logcats i knew i should have had them ready
Hey Jeff how do I get a logcat when it keeps turning off I have terminal installed on my phone the codes don't work

The # is the prompt character. You should type everything past that character and then a "return" at the end after the &

The & puts it running in the background. The files should be there.

"OK Google" still doesn't work right on black/lock screen

I have the MOTO Z2. Its a pretty decent phone and I don't have any issues other than this: When the phone goes to sleep (black screen) and I say "OK Google" to wake it up, it asks for my passcode to continue. I already know that in these circumstances you must:
1. Go to Security & Location > Trust Agents > Smart Lock and turn it off
2. Reboot the phone
3. Go to Security & Location > Trust Agents > Smart Lock and turn it on
This will allow it to work for maybe 48 hours until it loses its mind again. Sorta counter to the "hands free" mode.
I just upgraded to Android 8. Guess what? Its still broken exactly the same way! Perhaps I am missing something that could correct this? Any suggestions?

Charging lights up screen ? how to turn it off

Everytime i charge phone the screen lights up.. anybody knows how to turn that off? Also my finger print works but i got 3-4 seconds till the screen open please check the video.
Is my device faulty or anyone else having this issue?? Please let me know thanks in advance. I noticed the fingerprint delay when i was turning off my phone because i was waiting for my case to arrive. After a dozens restart i made fingerprint work normaly but i think this is not normal. what do you think guys? Thanks again for your time!
