extract it and copy framework/framework-res.apk to system/framework/framework-res.apk
Done.
If it doesnt contains all changes, copy the systemui.apk to system/app/systemui.apk

I appreciate that u wanted to creat an informative thread. But actually the information u wanted to tell here is the most basic info which every new user know. So before creating any new thread verify that is ur thread really have any unique info or mod which is going to help people here.
Just a quick word in here...
When making instructional threads, try to make sure that all your information is accurate and complete. In this case you haven't mentioned the you need to set your permissions right... (set it to rw-rw-rw. I hope you know what I'm talking about).
Please make a better, more comprehensive tutorial mate. Also note that at it's core, this is a developer forum, so post your reasoning and everything that got you to your solution.
I appreciate your initiative, but try and do more research before posting, like for your earlier thread regarding boot animations.
Help pls trying to follow raver guide on adding transparency status bar ok i have everything i need i hope dl java sdk i have apktool on my desktop what's in it is aapt(application ) apktool(windows batch file) apktool (executable jar file)and my Systemui.apk is this right now important trying to cd to it but i don't understand how to when i read there instructions can someone pls help i will greatly appreciate it thanks

HELP !! I have downloaded dsixda android kitchen.zip 20mb (latest 1) to cook some custom rom :beer:
But m unable to use ??? There is no setup or .exe file in zip. :screwy:
I have seen dsixda thread but nothing helpfull
Plz Guide an easy methods to use it:thumbup:

you also have to download cygwin for android kitchen to work follow this link hope this will help
just follow this picture guide i also used it to set it up first download all necessary files

Plz help me to edit a apk
I have only tried apk edit for editing. But after editing while trying to apply its shows some error & refer to see log file.
When see the log file find something like baskmaling error.
As I m too new to these, plz guide me to came out of these.
Alternatives with details also welcome.

I am not able to add cracked themes to the next 3d launcher. When I install them on my phone and hit open nothing happens. They are not visible under the installed themes . Do I need to copy the themes in some particular folder to make them work?
PS: This is my first android device so I am a complete beginner
