[MOD]14 Toggles for CatyRom *Now 2 Flavors* (1/9) - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hey guys, just thought I would post the 14 toggle mod I put together for CatyRom 2.1. I am also using the ICS_CatyRom_Theme5.zip from dman's post here
I followed lidroid's guide from here in order to make this mod. As always, apply at your own risk but I have been running it for a couple days with no problems so far.
To Apply:
1. Flash CatyRom_14Toggles.zip in CMW
2. To customize toggles, open Quickpanel Settings app in app drawer
Thanks to dman for allowing me to post this and making a great rom and lidroid for the mod. Also, to trip007in for the icons.
-------------------------------------------
Updated 1/9:
-Now with 2 Flavors - Blue and White Toggles
-Updated the Auto Brightness Toggle for the White toggles (see new screenshot), will update Blue Toggle tomorrow

Good job

Just a suggestion that may help some beginners...
Put it in a flashable zip package...it may save you some grief ..

i was going to ask why you didn't package this one like the other for zeus...flashable?

Yeah sorry I will. Just was following the thread how lidroid did it but I can see how that isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Also, I screwed up on the original lidroid-res.apk and put in the wrong one. I updated it now so it should be like the one in the screenshots. Sorry for that, I had way too many windows open and uploaded the old file. Sorry all, thought I double checked it.

Ok guys, the flashable zip is in the OP now. Enjoy

Okay new version up tonight. White toggles for those who like it a little different. Also, I updated the auto brightness toggle for the white toggles with a new icon. See the new screenshot.

What version of caty us this for, caty extreme edition ics version 2.1?

I don't think this modifies ROM functionality in any way. As far as I know how he's done this, he's updated only the icons/images from the original framework file.

NO, it doesn't. If you put the files in your Infused v2 phone as stated in the first post, It will stuck in the start (S - Galaxy S) animation like mine.
So you'll need to flash the ROM all over again.
The author maybe should specify the ROM version (if stock, if infused etc) he used with success. Just a sugestion, ok?
Hope I've cleaned the fellow's doubt.

[MOD] *Updated* Customizable 14-Toggle Mod for ZEUS-ICS UCKL2 ROM

This is lidroid's customizable 14-Toggle Mod. It was based and tested on dman3285's ZEUS ROM Build 2 ICS themed.
All credit goes to lidroid: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1289896
I'm not a coder, I just followed the guide to build the mod for the Infuse as is and match ZEUS ICS themed version, therefore I'm unable to accomplish specific requests. If problems arise, please refer to lidroid or another expert.
I do not hold liability for data loss, bootloops, bricks or any damage to your phone.
If you agree with my last statement, you're free to flash the mod using CWM. To be safer, wipe Dalvik cache (in CWM --> Advance), it's going to last a little bit longer to boot.
To configure toggles, go to app drawer and open QuickPanel Settings. Enjoy
*Update [12.31.11]* Added a couple of icons that were missing and gave a cleaner look. See the screenshot.

Then you don't know the rules apparently.....the two that are themeing my rom asked pwermission to do so due to the fact they are modifying apks taken from my rom ...as is the systemUI used to build these toggles(which I already had built for the next release) didn't dog the op for it just merely said it would be better next time...be courteous. xtremesv,
I loved the 14 toggles you modded for the infuse.
I tried this on bigfau's Numas based off uckj4.
The status bar forced closed on reboot.
Fix perm or wipe cache/dalvik couldn't fix it.
Questions.
1. Can you mod one for numas?
2. If not, how can I get the old status bar back? Would replacing the system.ui with numas original system.ui fix it?
Thanks
edit: I took out the modded system.ui and replaced it with numas.ui.
I got the old status bar back. I guess zeus.ui doesn't work with numas.ui
Different system ui from this and Numas...yes you would have to adb push the systemui from numas or make a flashabke zip...but this mod wont work on numas ...it has some Rogers framework like caty

How do I get wallpaper from gtg's Infused rom

Hi everyone. I've been reading around xda for quite a while and would first like to say thanks to all the great devs and others on here who have really helped to make the infuse an even better phone. Ok so this is my first post so I hope I have the right section. My question: is it possible to pull the sgs2 wallpaper pack from gtg's Infused rom? I've searched everywhere and can't find a wallpaper pack like it. I'm trying to complete my sgs2 look on my infuse with CM7 and wizmod2 theme. Thanks for any help!

Try searching for the wallpapers in the rom zip. Normal locations are the framework apk if its just one. Or a separate folder in the ROM if they are multiple.

Yes, but only selective apps. You may, but should be careful with the android build version. Some apps are compiled from sources, and those might not be compatible when taken from one ROM to another. But others, like add on apps, can be taken.

I think the tree structure within framework.jar is a bit different but it may still work, I still haven't tested it, I got distracted. you can use apk tool or smali to decompile it, baksmali or apk tool to compiled it.
I don't mess with apk manager because it tries to do to much for you and isn't really useful because the apps don't usually work when you are done, you wind up having to pull files from the Finnished apk and dropping them in a copy of the original because the signing doesn't work with system apps.

I think the point is people want to see more of the icons, to get an idea of what it looks like, more than just a single representation.
Besides, for the love of god, *****ing about no screenshots is much more productive than actually taking the minute and a half to flash the theme.

[Theme CLEAN ROM ICS] Real Icon Theme by JBEITEL INFO

Hey guys. For those that dont know, my Real Icon theme has been found to be compatible with all ICS Touch Wiz roms so far since it uses the villian themer as opposed to full apks. I have confirmed it works well on Scott's clean rom. I havent made a separate folder yet on my ftp site but the one for synergy rom and beans rom are identical, just grab one and install it. Here is a basic link into my site...

I thought about it but past experience has shown me that I get a lot less traffic on generic posts rather than ones that say specifically for a rom they are running. Not sure if people just think "hey, probably doesnt apply here" or what but when they see "this is for clean rom" etc they tend to download it more. I also struggle with putting the date on the post. I like to do it so people know there is a new release but as the thread ages, i get much less traffic because people just think it isnt applicable any more. Am I babbling?
This does not work well on CleanROM if you have installed Kinda Crap mods or other mods that affect the icons in the notification bar.

Most modders will tell you dont mix and match. With that said you could equally say the mods dont work well with my theme. As long as you dont suggest i am breaking stuff then we are good.

No, I'm not saying that. What I meant (and meant to say) was that this doesn't work if you've flashed other mods before it. Speaking of which, if I wanted to run this mod but had already flashed another one, how do I get rid of the other one?

Guys, it looks like the battery isnt a 100 image battery so the animation will be off until i fix it
Sent from my SGH-I535 using xda premium
Ok so I found that as long as I flash this mod first, I can flash Kinda Crap mods over it and I can keep the Real Icons icons for Messaging and Calendar and all the in-app icons as well, only the Notification Bar icons are replaced by Kinda Crap, which is fine with me. However, I lose call recording that's enabled by Dirty Tweaks. If I try to flash Dirty Tweaks over top of Real Icons like I did with Kinda Crap, the phone won't boot and I have to restore from backup or re-flash the ROM which wipes out all the mods anyway. Is there any build of Real Icons that won't affect the phone app so that I can keep call recording? Thanks!
