[Q]- XDA mIRC channel? - General Questions and Answers

Anyone know of a mIRC channel for XDA? Or is there even a channel on a server for #XDA?
thanks in advanced,
~ArticDust

There is no such thing as a mIRC channel, mIRC is a program, there are only IRC channels.
Most android related IRC channels are on freenode (www.freenode.net)
There are various IRC channels from people on XDA, but i don't know of an official XDA channel.

MHTVS:(Open Source)Minimal Headless TV Server and channel remote for mobile devices

This is my attempt to create a basic Linux TV server for mobile devices. A poor mans slingbox alternative (with a channel controller). I started tinkering with a simple android webview apk that I haven't posted yet because I want to create one that would support ssh tunnels for the server. So for now this example can run from any www client with flash support (I'm running 2.2.1 firmware and Flash Player 10.2 in the demo) It's not as fancy as slingbox but it works for me.. maybe it would work for someone else too.
Alpha Demo: (file attached): mhtvs.tar
See youtube link in attached file for demo..
This forum has been so helpful to me... I lurk here often just thought I would submit my project as a thank you to xda.
Interesting
Sounds very nice! Could you please post a basic tutorial or steps to configure the files on source code?

[Q] Chat in group using bluetooth ?

Hi, I'm looking for an app that can do that, thanks !
(no signal at school...)
I don't think it is possible to group chat trough Bluetooth except 1 on 1 chat.
So it would be better if you bought a portable router and make your friends connect to Wi-Fi and then chat trough LAN connection.
There are some "LAN Chat" apps but i'm not sure if any supports GROUP Chat so try some LAN Chat apps at home before using them at school
