Hi I have created a folder on the micro sd card called books and then transferred some documents from my pc onto it.
When I try to open the files on the phone it only gives me the option to open them via open office but it says it does not support files over a certain size.I would like to view them like I do on my pc, that is with Adobe reader. I have Adobe installed so how do I get the files to view with it ?
Thanks

I used to use ezPDF Reader and RepliGo Reader to read PDF files, and both are very good. Yesterday, I moved all my PDF files to an external microSD card, and I can't find a way to point the PDF files in these readers. The only way I can read them is to browse them using File Manager, and then open them (& choose a app).
Is it possible to set the file location for these readers? If not, is there any other good PDF reader which can set up PDF located in the external microSD card?
Many thanks!
So Nexus Don't Have SD Slot. Is there any APP can allow me perform following CLOUD activity?
The APP auto create a Virtual Folder which connect to CLOUD DRIVE.
Next time when I want to view or edit files simply just open any APP and open files in local path, select the Virtual Folder and then we can open files on CLOUD DRIVE without manually download to our device first.
Example 1: I can use Perfect Viewer view my DropBox 20GB comic collection and then open and read any comic zip file directly.
Example 2: I can use MX Player view my Google Drive 100GB video collection and then open and watch any video mkv file directly.
Considering buy Nexus 10, but worried bout the storage limitation...

Hey,
because all the files from my university come in the PDF Format I was thinking if there is a way to manage those files better on a rooted android device such as the sony Xperia z3 tablet.
Is it possible to save PDF files that you download with the chrome browser in a separate Folder? So that you don't get a bunch of PDF files into the download folder? I want chrome to automatically save PDF files in the folder "pdf" for example so I can easily find each pdf file.
Is that possible?
I wish to use my tablet as a photo album. I have purchased a 64g micro sd card and placed a large number of folders and sub folders onto it from my laptop. I want to keep them in the same folder format as I have them on my laptop. Despite downloading and trying many " file manager" type apps I can not find a way for my Amazon Fire HD 8 (7th Generation) to open my photos in the same folder format as they are when I open the SD card on my HP laptop. can anyone offer and suggestions.
Hi all,
I have a HDD that I can connect to my S9+ using an OTG adapter. Using the My Files file explorer, I can access the files just fine. However, I struggle to get third party apps to access the drive. My ultimate aim is to edit some video files on the drive. I have installed several video editing apps and none can access the files. I have a few file explorers that can read the drive but cannot open the files with the video editors. I dont wish to copy the files to my phone, edit them and then copy them back as that's a tedious process.
Is there any way to force those apps to access the files? I'm not rooted.
