New coredroid 3.5 bricked 1.6 beta 6 and the 10.14.9053 radio with matching ril
It's weird google music won't stream right on any sense 3.5 Rom I use. It will play a song than any other song will fail to stream until I push play again and than it works it will do this for like 5 songs. than it foreclosed.

Hello All
I have a strange "bug"? in the HTC music player. When I plug in my headset it is recognized (icon displayed on task bar) and I can open the music player. I can select a song to play and the play button toggles. The song does not begin. The parallel bars are displayed but the song elapsed time does not begin running. With no headset attached the music player operates normally; I hear the music on the speaker.
Heres the strange part. If I open ES File Explorer and click on the mp3, the song will play through the headset.
I'm running ARHD 4.1.10 with beats. The Music app worked last weekend and I tired to play music today and now... I've cleared data for the Music player, fixed permissions, re-booted, installed headset blocker, and still get this behavior.

Any ideas?
Wipe cache from music app? Id start there

Disable beats first...then try to play the song...while the song is playing u can then re enable the beats

i can play music with my headset without any problem. have you tried other mp3 files? or other headset?
This only occurs with the HTC music app. I start the app and if beats is enabled then I have to select the HTC sound enhance, stop and restart the song, and it works. The es music player works every time. I like the HTC music lock screen widget so I'll tolerate it; at least till ARHD gets a couple more ICS releases under their belt.

Ive been playing with ADWLauncher on my new Sensation XE with Beats Audio personalising the screens and making tabs etc....
But when i play music and plug the Beats Audio Headphones in I cant seem to get it to activate the Beats Audio. It works fine with the Stock HTC Sense but nothing on the ADW. Anyone got any ideas?

Ive managed to get the stock player working but there is no widget for it in ADWLauncher mode which is irritating as its quite handy.
If i use any other player with the ADWLauncher i can use the widgets but the Audio Beats doesnt activate.
So it looks like its either Audio Beats with stock player and no widget or non stock music player with no Audio Beats with working widget
Bummer!
If anyone has a solution it would be great

Anyone else having this problem with the stock HTC Music Player on ICS. I find it incredably slow forwarding/rewinding skipping tracks.
All slow and sluggish
Mines seems okay, it could be a little quicker but I don't find it slow. Have you tried any alternative music players?

Just recently jumped back on xda, dunno where this ota ICS file came from but it might be the file that TMO sent back to HTC for possible issues, any other issues occurring here?
I had the same problem too, it was too laggy sometimes when skipping tracks. now i'm using google music and for equalizer i installed music fx.
i have a question .. how can i show the lyric in htc sense music player when playing song like touchwiz music player (ex galaxy s3) and iphone?

Hey guys, I'm looking for music player that can sort songs by artist, but not like it's sorted in the default player, I want It to show all songs sorted by artist and not albums like it's in the default player.
And more importantly, I want the option to pause or change songs through the notification bar.

Poweramp isnt such a bad choice,
You can also chceck out winamp and ubermusic(paid)

PowerAmp, the best so far...
DoubleTwist is my favourite music app, it's free too. There is a paid version which allows you to sync your music with your computer like iTunes and allows you to retrieve album art through the app.
Try jetaudio.pretty good interface
mort player is great
I like PlayerPro, but I'm currently using Apollo, which came with CM10
