I am with rogers.
The boot loader wasn't a problem but the radio doesn't pick up and signal on the 850/1900 bands.
Not only that but if you do flash that radio you will probably have the adb push a new radio to your phone.
I couldnt flash a new radio using clockwork for some reason.

I had a similar issue trying to correct a bad radio issue. Ended up having to flash it via adb as well.

Arent those the 2G bands? Im on Telus which has no 2G. Ill try and report back. The Android site says all good but i wanted real world account first.

Telus/koodo rogers/Fido bell/virgin all use the same bands now.

KF1 radio works great for me. I'm on Koodo/Telus. There's a thread in General with the list of radios and links for all of them. Just flash them through CWM and it's no problem.
Edit: oops. misread your title -_- sorry! this didn't answer your question...

Infused latest version

I searched the q&a threads and couldn't find my answer. I recently loaded the infused rom. I noticed that the data speeds are slower. In settings, about phone, it shows I'm on umts and not hspda which I'm in the coverage area for hsdpa. Is this a known issue or something wrong with my phone?

Have you tried flashing some of the other modems? A lot of people had that issue and a lot of them got fixed or better by flashing a new modem.

Time to start building a collection of shipped modems. Both Odin and CWM packages will be provided for each modem.

You need to be running a rom that lets you put the phone into "modem" mode so you can reprogram the PRLs and what not.
I used this guide
http://www.cricketusers.com/sprint-...exus-s-4g-cricket-talk-text-mms-internet.html
Yea i actually have that page bookmarked on my computer... most of it i know i cant do....im gonna just get it flashed for 25

OK so for some odd reason the adb doesn't recognize my phone when I plug the phone in...does anyone know why?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
Nvrmind...I didn't have the drivers....but now I had it flashed over to cricket but all I have is talk and text. No data at all. I was supposed to get a new number from cricket but when I call someone its my sprint number...I know it needs to be programmed, but what would cause it not to program? Would it be that I flashed a different radio awhile back ago? He said the prl was the newest...are the prl and radio be the same thing?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
ok so finally I have my phone flashed to cricket, what all can I do and not do? are root, recovery, roms, scripts all still in play? Im assuming since im with cricket now that radios don't work...am i on the right track?

No signal after sim unlock

I have unlocked at&t sgh i727 by purchasing code at cellunlocker.net..
It was done successfully,. It prompted that SIM unlock successful. But later I'm not getting signal (just a circle with slash)... I have got apn settings too.. Tried switching on/off airplane mode, pulling battery out n waited for sometime then booted up. No luck.
Its brand new phone, with stock firmware etc, everything new.
I'm in India now, inserted Vodafone SIM which asked for SIM unlock code n it said unlock successful...
Pls help me guys.

I have googled some time n found that our frequencies lie under 900/1800. So I put the band preference to that frequency. But still couldn't get the signal.

I don't think that's true. I've used my phone in Europe and got 3g. I would think you'd be able to get 3g in Indonesia also. But I don't know. Check with your carrier to see if it's possible.

i727 fully supports all frequencies you have in Indonesia (which is 2100 MHz band).
If you don't have 3G - means you don't have correct APNs set, or you're limited by your cellular carrier. The phone is fine. No need to flash anything, it supports 2100 MHz band by default, in all its variants.

I tried 9210 rom in i727. Not bricked, but not working either. The first time restart it would boot directly into recovery mode with an error about not able to mount /system. The second flash it would stay on Galaxy S2 LTE I9210 screen. Then flash back to i727 rom and did firmware update for touch keys then it works normal again...

You're very lucky. Porting is different then flashing. You should do some more research before flashing anything.
