Found these guys online. They said they do mobile phones as well. I do NOT know these guys nor can I say that they do a good job. I only searched on google and found them.
If you do proceed to having them fix your device, please post updates so others may have a reference to fixing their devices if anyone hard bricked theirs.

Yeah, I was at their website. Saw that they don't offer JTAG service to the Skyrocket (SGH-i727) model. Or else I would've went along with it.

Did. The JIG arrived today from Amazon. I tried it but the phone won't go to Download mode.
It's just completely dead.

Not know where you are in regards to location/country .. if you got the phone through the correct channels (being AT&T) .. you have a 1 year warranty .. so my suggestion would be to return the phone for repairs.
I had the same issue not to long ago .. I ordered the JIG with no success, took to phone into an AT&T Store, they tried everything .. phone was completely DEAD .. they shipped me out a replacement Skyrocket in which I had 14 days to return the defective one.

Hello, a week ago I was trying to restore my phone back to the stock rom, it is a Samsung Galaxy i727, and now is dead or HardBrick, I´m from Dominican Republic, searching in the internet I found a local Mobile Repair Center offering the Jtag service in just 24 hour my phone is back, their name is ALUMUN, if you are in Dominican Republic they are the best, you can find them in google as ALUMUN

Sigh, please use that search bar on the top right of the website....
Sorry to say I did this to my first s3 by accident. Nothing u can do unless u can get it into download mode. Which the only way you can do that with a hard brick is by using a jig. Google galaxy s3 jig. U can buy one cheap or watch a YouTube video on how to make one for around $2. But other than that ur only option is to turn it into the phone insurance or maybe Verizon will jtag it for u. U can Google jtag as well. That's all the help I have for u. Good luck!!!!!

You're a paperweight, no jig will help you. Take to vzw and play stupid or ship it back to samsung, they'll fix it under warrenty. If you're modest and are willing to pay to get it fixed i reccomend http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-jtag-brick-repair/ --best brick repair around. Flash carefully in the future

I never said a jig would work. I Personally just returned mine for a new one at best buy. I just saw online about people using a jig to force it into download mode. I was just throwing out ideas. No need to be rude. And I also mentioned jtag.

Dont see how I was being rude. I was just trying to stop him from spending 2 days making a jig for nothing. And u told him to "google it". if the op knew how to use Google, he probably wouldn't be here asking a question that's been answered 1000 times already. So I provided a link. And u mentioned verizon jtaging it. They dont do that. Not to mention, even if they did, a tad stupid to have them do it if u ask me.

Let me guess... flashed an international ROM? If you can't get into download mode then send it to mobile tech videos for jtag service. Please don't take it back to Verizon. You're only solidifying their decision to lock bootloaders by not owning up to your own mistakes.
I also highly recommend mobile tech for fixing hard bricks. Only $60 and they had fast turnaround. Handy for when you've stupidly (speaking from personal experience here) flashed something you shouldn't have.
What all do you have to send to them? Do they need your usb cord?

Anybody been able to successfully unbrick a Verizon SG3 using JTAG?

Been looking to fix my newly bricked device. I heard Verizon is different, even compared to a Sprint phone when it comes to using the JTAG fix.
Just curious to find out if anybody has done or seen it done before.
Adam Outler did just that.
He apparently consulted with the folks from MobileTechVideos and did it himself - it's even shown on his YouTube unboxing of the Verizon Galaxy S III.

Looks like it was from some shady guy on ebay or something.
nope, it wasn't mobiletechvideos/
(in retrospect I should've really chosen them)
let's just say don't send your phone to Waterville, Maine..... (if your phone is sick, it doesn't really need a cell-dr, does it.... )
ps yeah, I found the guy through ebay, but he has his own website, too//
Yeah, I found someone off eBay for about $30 (mpick22 - eBay Unbrick Samsung Galaxy S - JTAG Riff - Boot repair- hard brick - Jig ..)
After exchanging several messages back and forth, I was told that they have never done a Verizon S III before and couldn't do it. Refunded my money.
Went ahead and sent my phone to MobileTechVideos. Now just waiting for them to fix it up (hopefully) and get it back to me. I'll definitely make sure to post here with an update.

[q] help with brick sgs3 vzw

ok i pulled a noob move and went to flash the wrong rom on my gs3, i got the error 7 msg which im pretty sure means its a rom for a different model, prolly i900 or whatever but i didnt reflash my old rom like an idiot and clicked reboot phone, BOOM hard brick! when i take the battery out and plug it in to my computer my LED notification comes on RED but other than that its a pretty paper weight. it will not turn on for anything tried all button combos im thinking i can buy a little usb jig from ebay, but i dont know if it will help me. Do i need to take it apart and like force the thingy inside it, i think its the internal SD or something please help, i feel so retarded. HOW TO UNBRICK VZW SGS III!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't think the jig will help here. Sounds like you'll need JTAG. Its about 60, but you gitta send your phone off for repair.

Yeah EdwardPace, use that link to MobileTechVideos for a Jtag. I also pulled a noob move and had to get mine repaired. Took about a week but my phone is back and in perfect working order. Sounds kind of expensive but compared to having to buy a 600 dollar replacement, it's well worth it.

No, it will not bypass the need for Odin. All it bypasses is the need to hold vol down+home while powering on.

I bought a real S4, but wasn't informed that it had custom recovery installed. The first time I tried to update, it rebooted to recovery. I didn't know what any of that was. So, here I am spending all my free time learning about android system modification. NOT what I asked for
Best to buy from a trusted source where you can actually go back to return item if it has a problem. Buy from a well known retailer and you will not have these problems.

Galaxy s8+ showing lines on the top part of the display. I really need help

I have had my s8+ for 2 weeks now and i just found out recently that sometimes, it shows some white lines ( i think there were some pink and green ones aswell ) on the top part of the screen. They used to show up while watching movies/Youtube videos and last night i saw them on the home screen and in the settings ( this time they were black ). I googled the problem and there was no one complaining about it. I just hope its a software problem as i do not have waranty nor money to get another phone.
What could be the problem? Thank you in advance.

Why would you not have a warranty? They are covered for one year for defects.

The phone was not bought from a store but from someone who got it and didnt want it so i got it cheaper. It wad brand new though ( but didnt have waranty )
Contact Samsung. As long as it's not user inflicted, those kind of defects are factory covered.
Regardless of where you bought it.

Shouldn't matter. Who's your carrier? I had an LG G2 I bought used many years ago that developed a screen problem, Verizon replaced it no questions asked.

You should contact Samsung customer support.
Definitely if you are in the UK they just use your manufacture date plus 3 months as proof of warranty.

Well...i am not from UK. There are no stores in here that will just take my phone and fix it. All i wanted to know is if anyone had this problem and if its a software problem or the display itself...
sounds like a display issue, usually bad connection or faulty display driver (hardware driver), only fix is new screen

Your device very likely has a hardware problem. This won't get better, and may deteriorate. With that said, it's also very likely that Samsung will repair it for you at no cost. But you'll likely be without a phone for two to four weeks. I'd suggest contacting Samsung, then making arrangements to get by while your phone is gone. Pick up a used device somewhere?
Even if the phone was from the UK or somewhere else (not stolen) you could get this fixed by calling Samsung. If you continue to say you can't contact Samsung all I can surmise from that is that you obtained the phone illegally. EU Warranty is 2 years you have definitely got warranty.
