use skyfire
I haven't used weapon yet but if it's a stock browser that would be your problem.
Use skyfire or opera mobile.

Ok, thanx to all for the info
Opera is a good browser with pretty good download management.
For stock browser just download astro file manager go to prefrences and enable browser downloads. Its like that on all the g2x stock gb roms.

I use "Download all Files" From the market on Weapon 3.0. Works great.

First off I take no credit I jus followed the directions given by others and decided to post for any of those having troubles jus uninstall your old adobe flash and put this one in using astro or what ever file manager you use and it should be golden. And yes this is the most current special thx to Almighty1 for developing the fix and to the others with signature idea if I left anyone out my apologies.
Will not install on stock Sprint EVO. Do you need root for this?
you do need root for it to work

No jus download this and install like any other app and it will work on the hulu app or or the internet jus change your user agent to IE6 its not a fix its the adobe app with the fix already in it jus uninstall the old adobe and put this in gets no easier
Does not work, i tried it with the HULU App and i tried it with HULU.com -- (and i changed the string to desktop in dolphin browser)
On hulu.com it just said that i need to have flash installed (seemed as though it showed i didn't have any flash installed) -- and once i reverted back to stock flash 10.2 it didn't say that anymore
Dont know what to say Ive got some confirmation from another that it worked for him also worked for me so any feedback from others would be appreciated

Can anyone help me out with this. When I try to download new themes or roms on my phone it says that the content is not supported and that the download had failed. I know that I have downloaded other themes and roms sup I don't know why all of a sudden it won't work. Any ideas?

Do you have an app that supports the zip format like astro or root explorer. I know I had trouble with some of them befoe installing astro file explorer. That may not be what's causing it but worth a shot.
Tap-a-Talked.
I'll give that a try, thank you. I'm anxious to try the black alien theme but as of right now I have to use pc to download it and that just seems silly.

Try a different browswer. Dolphin mini works fine for me.
Yes the stock browser simply doesn't like .zip files. As afaggllar just said, try another browser. Mirem is good for a desktop like experience.

Dolphin mini fixed the problem. After I purchased the root explorer OF COURSE, but fixed none the less!

Root Explorer is a very useful app to have anyway.
Im on gummy 2.0 and Im trying to update my kernal, but everytime I try to download to my phone it says
"<untitled> download unsuccessful" content not supported by phone. I'm trying to download imoseyons latest kernal from rootzwiki and this is getting annoying. Ive tried all the browser settings I can think of. I'm sure it probably a simple setting change, but I cannot figure it out. Anyone have a solution?
Thanks

what browser are you using? the stock one doesn't play well with downloading from sites like dropbox or mediafire... you may need to use another one like Opera or Dolphin for that
blazing through on my 4G Droid Charge
If you're downloading with stock browser get "Download Crutch" from the market.
Sent from my Droid Charge running GummyCharged 2.0
Yes stock browser. I'll try crutch.
I was able to get it to work by installing astro, and enabling "browser downloads" in preferances.

happens to me as well... quite annoying...
clearing cache and clearing history doesn't fix it
i've yet to try clearing EVERYTHING...
+1
Download All Files solved this in Gingerbread, but no more. What's really annoying is that gingerbread would fail right away, whereas this completes the download, then flashes to unsuccessful and deletes it.
For the time being, I've been keeping Firefox installed just to download apks and imgs.
alrighr guys, do this..
go to the manage apps settings, all, download manager. find download manager then clear its data. also, make sure that there is enough space on your sd card storage(i had someone trying to download a 700mb file recently with 200mb space on their sd storage).

anybody have a fix for downloading things from xda and other sites? when using chrome and trying to download something it opens the stock browser and loops between chrome and stock browser not downloading anything. and when using stock browser it starts to load the page, stops, and closes the browser completely.
If you on an at&t based Rom you can go in app association settings and set chrome to default web.

I've found going to settings and selecting the ask for desktop version will typically get you to the download. In chrome and stock browser
