Well it's entirely new afaik, mdj did this build originally for the Desire S and he added support for some other devices too.
So this should be completely new.

Excellent work, look forward to flashing it when I get a few mins!

Flashing as we speak, will report any notable bugs if they're there
Edit: First bug I've noticed: when trying to access camera (fully aware it isn't functional) from lock screen, the phone reboots.
Edit 2: Not sure if the bug is related to the rom as I'm using the nova launcher, but when i tried to use a wallpaper from gallery and had to crop, the phone rebooted. Funny enough the wallpaper was set though.

nice to see another great ICS rom!
VI 1.48 is very good rom, so I think this one will also be very good!
Too bad the camera isn't working in this rom too..

Bug:
Trying to open the camera from lockscreen causes a hot reboot.
It's obviously going to do it because of the lack of camera.apk but is there a way to change the shortcut to something else?

BeatMod is created from me since i got a HTC Magic. I had there some project like the first Honeycomb port and some stable builds. Later - sbryan joined me and since then we work together on all ports. This is a rom port of a HTC Bliss wwe leak. All Bug reports are welcome, just post it in the thread. Yeah that'll do. The ROM is a work in progress, so it wouldn't hurt if the thread get some touch ups here and there too. I have to put a huge thanks to capychimp and the evo4g team who allways help out and give tips. Just to clarify though, is it the wifi hotspot that isn't work or wifi? I know on rcmix version of the rom wifi worked but not the hot spot

My data doesn't work at all on this ROM while running the newest ota radio/ril combo. Also Bluetooth sharing Fc popped up multiple times when I wasn't even using Bluetooth. Other than those issues, the ROM is off to a nice start. Sense 3.5 is a whole different experience. An experience I could definitely get into. I look forward to the upcoming releases.

WiFi doesn't work at all, no option to configure it during setup and in settings it just says "error". The ROM is not ready for daily use just yet, but I am sure the developer is already working on these known issues.

Version 1.3 is online. it is only a small update with wifi fix for inspire 4G and Desire HD. Desire S and Desire Z will follow tomorrow i think.

So far so good.
Every once and a while I get a network error, but so far so good.
Sense 3.5 is nice.

Played around a little longer.
FM radio kicks back to app screen once it hits 75% on booting up.
Wifi was working fine until I tried to mess with Hotspot. That wacked it all out. Had to reboot to get wifi back.
Also issues with the SD. First couple boots it found my music, now it couldn't find anything. Same with my images in the gallery. Reboots have not helped.
restored back to LeeDroid and everything is there...

Tested this last night (I think I actually downloaded it pretty close to immediately after posting). Glad to see that wifi is up. Definitely the most beautiful ROM I've tried (amongst CM7, Unity, MIUI, AOSP). Sense 3.5 is unbelievable, I love the quick launch widget. Once bluetooth starts working (a must for a commuter going through Chicago), this will more than likely be my daily driver. Admittedly, the boot animation is kind of annoying. I really like the stock HTC one compared to any custom ones I've seen

I saw in the "Working" area up top that 2G/3G works, what about 4G? It didn't say it didn't work anywhere. Thanks

Quattro is the most stable ICS ROM I have till date, I am saying this because I am using it on my Desire Z, hope it'll provide similar performance in my sensation too

Bluetooth is not a major issue for me. Camera is. Will an aftermarket camera or other camera apk work with this rom? The whole sensation scene is really cool at this point. Love the various virtuous ROMs I have working now. Thanks to the team!

Cant wait until everything works well on this ROM, im running ICS rite now, but i like sense widgets and a few other sense things

I am trying to install Amazon market and MP3 apps no matter where I get the apps from they install the UK versions. Living in the US this poses a problem that it will not let me purchase music, any ideas?
My phone says its a Desire HD in the settings is there a way to change this or does it even matter.Also there was no option for English (US) only (UK), could this be a problem as well?
I love this Rom but I use Amazon almost everyday any help would be great!
Also any chance of getting Twitter installed on friend stream?

I've been running this ROM for 2 hrs now and I must say BRAVO!! Great job (camera didn't work) but after installing the additional kernal it works fine..
I'm pleased with the touch of Sense 4 added to Sense 3.5. Think I'll be using this ROM for some time.

You have to flash a different kernel.
This rom has been over in the DHD forum for a while (and its great). For people flashing this for the first time, check out those forums more. There are many more roms that all usually support the Inspire.

It shows H but I have not seen H+. You can also set it to show 4G in settings.

The update .zip is not installing....it says that is bad and aborts the installation. Do I have to flash zip or just and update.zip? Thanks

The update .zip is not installing....it says that is bad and aborts the installation. Do I have to flash zip or just and update.zip? Thanks

Doesn´t allow me to do it....I have downloaded it twice and is not working....
When I try to download it from the XDA apps gives me an error, and says that the file is not there...
EDIT: I saw that the file was wrong....I will wait. Thanks!

If its not working you will need to flash another kernel. Try this

This Sense 4A features some nice functions, and very good support. Its the stablest and best supported Sense 4A ROM for the Desire S.
Since v2.0.3 we introduced the F1 kernel, which of course means two things: Formula one (means its very fast ) and FlashONE.
Recommended Radio
We recommend the leaked RUU's Radio. Download HERE
Of course, you can still use the older radio. it works fine too. but this one just has better wifi/bt connection then the oldie ;-)
Recommended HBOOT
We recommend the Engineering 98 HBOOT. but it works on 2.0 too.

We recommend the "F1 kernel". It has not been included in v2.0.3, so download it HERE. Flash it over Fastboot.

Bugs
Native HTC WiFi Hotspot
Make sure you have a custom recovery, preferrably 4EXT Touch
The ROM isn't signed, so make sure sign check is off.
Wipe everything except for /mnt/sdcard
If you are on HBOOT 2.0, use the /system/lib wiper.
Run the zip from the recovery
follow the steps on-screen
Reboot (except if you have HTC Bootloader unlock!)
For people who have unlocked their bootloader at htcdev.com:
make sure you have a folder with ADB, and the F1 Kernel from the zip ready in it.
From recovery: adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
And because the first boot takes very long:

EDIT : maybe i spoke too soon... Okay, the one v kernel source might be useful, finally.
But djpbx and I aren't kernel devs, so we wait for Virtuous Team to make their statement about all this, and, maybe their updated kernel

Oh sorry misread
It doesn't need v3 kernel, a Dec in G2 DZ section has fixed it by using legacy touchscreen, and I'm trying to find out where it is

Yup. you can use the same zip. It's multidevice.
Do you want to test it on your DZ? i'm currently looking for any device specific bugs.

Flashed the same installer on my DZ. Wiped everything of course. But all I get is a black screen after the splashacreen
