Has anyone seen this case or maybe own it?
It's looking pretty badass, cheap, slim.

it looks nice but too shiny and kinky fro me. I just ordered the blue one and paid an extra £12.50 for special delivery. They reckon 2-4 days. They are based in Hong Kong and am in London.

back and around the sides, thats why they are also pushing for the screen protectors

Nice, I was looking at the Seidio Snap. It looks a little bit better. I liked the smooth and simple back of the Ultra-Case however.

I bought this last week. I hope they also make their iPhone cases fit on the Nexus One.

Just bought one. I like the looks of it.

i pass..looks like a fingerprint magnet. I have a hard enough time keeping the screen clean.

How thick is that case though? I want the thinnest case possible without going the zagg/bodyshield route personally.

Just an FYI. Ultra Case's "The One" case can be found on ebay for around 5 bucks instead of the ridiculous 20 they want on their web site. It wouldn't surprise me if this "black" case is on ebay too.

Thats not the same case from Ultra-case I should be getting the real one this week and I will post some pics. The one in your link is a soft plastic and the Ultra-case is a hard plastic snap-on that only covers the back of the phone and also doesn't cover really any of the bottom, look again. http://www.ultra-case.com/product.php?pID=449

The point I was making is ultra case is selling a $3 case for 20 bucks and it wouldn't surprise me if their "Black" case shows up on ebay for a few bucks too. I already have a nice, blue hard shell case that offers more than just covering the phone's back for 20 bucks.

IPhone slip cases

my dad has an iphone 3gs i managed to get my hands on his slip case, and IT fits, surely that is great for all of us that means that *hopefully* all iphone slip cases will also be compatible with our desires. heres a link to his one here

I tried my work colleagues slip case looks the same as in your link, he got his in the carphone warehouse so probably was 3 times as much. It does fit just just the top sticks out a tiny bit.
Getting so desperate for a case I might chance it.

yeah its quite a nice case actually considering when you add all the stuff shipping and vat it comes in at a healthy £15 which is pretty good for a nice case

It's a good price for a nice case, using a £2.90 from eBay at the moment and it's embarrassing!!

i've always used to have them type of cases but they always seem to do more harm than good considering this was a "mere" £400, well i think i might protect it properly!

I went down the line of somethings better than nothing.. Had it a week so it's been about 5 days longer than I wanted to keep it for, can't seem to find anything that I liked or that would fit.

I just bought a really nice iPhone slip case for my Desire.
Black, soft leather from HMV for £10... (half price)
Protrudes about 4mm out of the top - but well worth it.

Was gonna order from there too! but the 2-6wk delivery time put me off!

Yea fair enough, mine took just over a week to come, the wait isn't too bad if you've already got a case.
To be fair I'd of paid an extra couple of ££ to have it in a couple of days instead of risking a 6 week wait.

Just wondering how much thickness do these casses add to the desire? Is it the same amount of thickness as the nexus one's case from mobilefun adds? Thanks. As i am looking for a thinner case as it needs to fit into my pdAir VX1 pouch.. :S The nexus one case adds to much to it (as i bought one from ebay)

it's probably a tiny bit thinner but not by much. its much better fitting than the nexus one case from Mobile Fun, it covers the edge around the screen it also feels generally nicer to hold.

For me it was the £99.99 price which put me off! (That's the original item, as mentioned in the first post)

I really don't think it is going to be any thinner than the nexus one specific cases.

I don't know whether it will fit in a pouch though.

Thanks I guess I'll have to go shopping with the phone in hand and see if a case fits the pouch. That's hard to do considering the phone isn't available here...maybe when I'm back on holiday in the UK I'll try and find a solution. Might get something similar to the zagg invisishield to protect the phone for know.

I've waded through what seems like 100 pages and I'm still no closer to getting anything! Seems I need a 1) thin film screen protector, 2) some sort of gel/silicone case to protect the phone from drop-damage when I'm using it and 3) a general purpose case/jacket to protect it from keys/drop damage/rain. But there's no way of knowing whether it'll fit into case 3 if it's in case 2! Sellers seem happy to advertise stuff as fitting the desire when buyers report that it doesn't, and you have the usual ebay sellers, typically in hong kong/china offering 6 week delivery times and no ability to return stuff for a refund if it turns out that you've got a crap one/it doesn't fit/isn't actually for the desire.
Does anyone have all 3 protections on their phone and who cares to share it with us (me)? And does anyone know the difference between these two items?

The first is a TPU case a sort of soft plastic like those flexible rulers you can buy, the second is a floppy silicone case.
Neither have a hole for the volume rocker you have to press through the case, ideally there should be a bump over the volume rocker to make it easy to press.

I went out brought the case the OP suggested and another case of amazon just to see the difference between them. the one from amazon hasn't arrived yet, however with regards to the ebay purchase the case arrived within two days of payment, so can't really knock the delivery time on this.
Its a snug fit, the phone doesn't move about within the case which is always reasuring. the case is reasonably thin, but does add a substantial weight and a thickness of about 3m to your phone. And the back of the case does pick up fingerprints quite easily, my old school ps3 doesn't pick up fingerprints quite as easily as this case does.
I would post photos of the case and the phone, but unforntunately my phone is my camera when whilst I'm at uni. I'll try to borrow a friends camera when I get both cases together to give you guys a little run through.

In all seriousness, I got the one from eBay too and it's pretty good I'd say. It'll do for now, I'd prefer a more matt/siliconey feel but so I'll keep searching.

Just got one of these to allay my fears of breaking my phone. It does feel a lot chunkier and it's certainly not as sexy now. I might get used to it or find something else.

Hahaham we both knew I meant 3mm. However adding 3m to my phone would sure that if I dropped it, it wouldn't even reach the ground.

Feels really good. Design is okay and it fits perfectly.
Got it for about 3pounds... ~4Euro...

Brought one here in oz, abs gold!!! Works a treat...

From what I've read its one of the best cases you can buy, I don't use it because it makes your phone as big as a HTC G1/Dream. I do use the Case-mate Barely There chrome snap-on case and from what I have personally found out is that they make the highest quality cases that I have bought for my Nexus One.

I have it, I'm using it. I love it It's absolutely the best you can buy with the price, free shipping, good customer service. IMO, It doesn't significantly make your phone bigger or bulkier. It feels like a solid rock

I use this case as well as the new Otterbox Commuter case and they are both very good quality cases. I believe that the Otterbox offers a little more protection and feels better and is easier to pull out of your pocket but all in all, this is a good sturdy case! I do like the fact that you have different color options whereas the Otterbox does not yet...

I just got the Tough Case like 3 days ago. It is amazing! I don't think it makes the the phone that much larger, I actually like the texture and sturdiness of the case, its pretty smooth.

Had mine just over a week, love it. Good fit, good feel, free decent screen protector.

Tough Case, if you do a quick search I've put up a picture of my pink/black one.

case mate Tough Case is the best so far. i have two buddy's at work and they have different ones that cost them about 8 bucks ,and they ask me were to get it and i told them . ever since i had it i don't have any problem and trust me i recommended to every one...

I was in the market for some cases too for my wife who tends to just sort of abuse her phone (just throws the phone in her purse and cup holders) so I decided to get the tough case for both our phones and glad I did...its solid and well made. The holes match up perfectly and the silicone and abs are snug to each other.

lookin good crxtasi! when can i get my barely there?

I have a casemate gelli, it's pretty awesome. Very snug, minimal bulk, and looks great. Sure not as much protection as some other cases, but certainly increases the drop protection.

I've had this case since it was released for the N1 and love it....never have to carry my wallet around with me anymore

Well it should be here in a couple of days. I really need to get a case on my N1! And I like the added feature of the card holder, in this day and age all you need is a 20. Dollar bill I'd and debit/ credit card

Looks good. I prefer innocase 2 by seidio. Very happy with mine and well worth the money IMHO. it looks more streamline than the pics ive seen on this thread.

The problem with the barely there case is the lack of protection on the bottom and top of the phone. That is where I got 90% of the scratches on my g1.

[Q] Otterbox Defender style case.

Has anyone found an otterbox defender style case for the touchpad? I read that otterbox said they currently don't have any plans to make a case for the touchpad.

Of course you would need to dremel some holes to make the speakers and buttons work i would think... Also taking out to charge it on a touchstone would be a pain... But maybe still worth it! So whos going to buy it and try it?

You can buy the iPad case on UK eBay for £21.99 but I'd be worried that it covers the bezel completely, hard to swipe.

I have the official HP case. I just think Otterbox does a better job in their ability to protect devices.

iPad case will not work
iPad gen 1 case does not fit. I have one for my sons iPad and tested it just to see.

NP, that's why we're here

sorry guys I forgot to update this. I did get the otterbox and no it does not fit. The tp is to fat. I used a heat gun and after a lot of work got it to work, but I can tell its not worth it. It did not come out perfect and I would need one or two more to really get the process down right. If you where going to do it just to do it and you felt like spending the money on a few of them you could do it. I would post pics but I already got rid of it.

roocase fits like a glove. Zippercase keeps tp safe in a bag and pull out jacket is nice when just needing a drop protection.

There seems to be quite a lot of different roocases, which one did you get?
