need help, i have got a t- mobile mda pro, known as htc universal; locked on t mobile; uk. i have upgraded the rom with this version (UNI_TMO_TMO_HR_20041_200147_11700_WWE_Ship); afterwards cant unlock it with using anything and doesnt allow me to install any crooked rom as well. whenever itry to unlock it or upgrade the rom, it goes on bootloader mode then i have to use (UNI_TMO_TMO_HR_20041_200147_11700_WWE_Ship) to restore to the previous rom.
device information:
rom version: 2.00.41 wwe
radio version: 1.17
ext rom version: 2.00.147 wwe
you need to use HSPL to unlock the phone i think the MDA Pro is touch pro right? you could ask there maybe
its not the touch one, its the x series version, HTC UNIVERSAL.
Hello.
I have HTC HD7 and don't know what ROM to choose to flash my phone.
Its unbranded,and here is info:
OS version : 7.0.7008.0
Firmware revision number :2250.09.15702.728
Hardware revision number :0002
Radio software version :5.51.09.06a_22.30.50.09U
Radio hardware version :A.102.0.D4
Bootloader version :1.57.2250.0(113571)
Chip SOC version :2.2.5.0
My personal preference is to flash the Asia wwe rom as it has no op logos and is just a HTC plain rom. I also flashed the radio 5.66 from the o2 rom. You will find it all in the hd7 forum.
Sent from my HD7 T9292 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
thx man i got it.
Hello everybody,
is there anybody out there, who can explain me how to unbrand my HTC 7 Pro with T-Mobile Rom? Or a HTC 7 Pro with O2 Rom?
Both are german Roms which i would like to have unbranded, because I want to use the original HTC ROM...
For T-Mous the software is:
Bootloader 2.1.22.50.0
Firmware: 2250.21.20101.111
Radio: 5.65.09.25a_22.45.50.21U
Greetz
Steve
EDIT: I finally did it! For german users: You can find a GUIDE here:

Hi. Pls I'd like to debrand my new htc 7 pro too (with german T-mobile) into standard International English edition.
I purchased the phone from a supposedly credible phone vendor from Nigeria, but was dazed to find T-mobile on it. I also feel and believe some limitations exist in the menu and settings alike. I therefore request your expert assistance.
Hi guys. I have a swisscom branded T7576. Here are the specs:
HTC 7 Pro T7576
SO: 7.10.8107.79
Firmware: 2250.21.51101.166
Hardware Revision: 002
Radio (sw): 5.71.09.02a_22.51.50.21U
Radio (hw): A.102.0.D4
SPL: 5.11.2250.0(134400) MNG
SOC chip: 2.2.5.0
So... after some search and too much reading i ended up trying to flash ansar's rom "RUU_Gold_7Pro_Europe_5.10.401.03_SLSPL_by_ansar" to be able to downgrade my SPL and install RSPL/HSPL by DFT. The problem is that i'm getting the famous 294 error (invalid vendor ID aka CID lock error).
Can anybody help me out? I want to debrand and be able to flash custom rom's on this phone.
Thank you.
Cheers,
Draco
With a little more reading is the radio hw version A.102.0.D4 from O2?
If so, wich rom should i flash to downgrade SPL?
Please help me.
Thank you very much.
Cheers,
Draco
Come on guys, help me out on this one. Any SLSPL rom wich i can flash? The one provided by ansar doesn't flash since it's Europe branded. I need to sideload a XML for camera translation settings. While i'm on 5.x SPL i won't be able to unlock my phone. Any sugestion will be appreciated.
Cheers,
Draco

Thank you Budniu. Can you confirm if, with this GoldCard method, i can flash a Europe branded rom on a Swisscom branded phone? I just don't want to brick my phone. Following ansar instruction i get confused on ID of the rom i have. Apparently Swisscom is code 166 and i'm not sure wich rom should i flash to downgrade my SPL.
Thank you very much.
Draco
Hmmm I don't know does you can downgrade SPL in branded device and not to damage the branded phone. If you want, you have to try but only for YOUR RISK.
For device from Orange in Polish that method work fine (my friend tried on Mozart).

i do not know of any swisscom Shipped ROM...
you might try contacting Football asking.
what you will want is a NoDo Shipped ROM.
you will need to flash that ROM with the Goldcard method in order to downgrade.
basically, what you are looking for is a 7 Pro Shipped ROM with x.xx.166.xx
you currently have ROM 5.11.166.01
