Market Enabler worked really well for me.
Took some time to learn how to tweak it but it worked out in the end. got a lot of great apps.
@KonceptB: Do you happen to know if Market Enabler will enable Amazon.com market as well? How does this affect download speed? I have setup a proxy server at my parent's house in the USA and this works for limited access. But the bandwidth is not great enough to support applications such as streaming Hulu. If Market Enabler supports much greater bandwidth, I may consider using it.
will this also give me music movies and books in the market

can somebody please provide a mirror link?
Beta is up, but only for some markets (US/CA/UK...).
Maybe someone could share the .akp? (No idea if just the download or the functionality is blocked outside the geographic beta area)

apk is private. I can't copy it. Anyone?
One way you can get it is to change your market location with Market Enabler:
http://code.google.com/p/market-enabler/
Sprint in USA is 310120
Verizon in USA is 310012
Run Market Enabler, set your "location" with a custom entry (Either Sprint or Verizon) and then open Market. You should see logmein in search.
If someone can help me with copying the private apk, I'm happy to post it.

LMI apk available here
LogMeIn apk available here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?nrmmetgnmyj
LMI Beta closed
The LogMeIn Ignition Android Beta is now closed.
Not able to download from MarketPlace any longer. The only place I can find the LMI apk is at the above mediafire link. PS- Works great on a Verizon Incredible. Works like crap on G1. Need multi touch for it to shine.

Works perfectly fine on my G1 w/ Cyan 4.2.14.1.
I just got an email after registering. You basically get 120 hours of use or 30 days trial. Whichever one comes first. This is a REALLY cool app but I can't see myself using it enough to pay for.
Apparently a new version of this app has rolled out today. Anyone able to grab it and repost? Even with ME running and the right values, it won't show up in market for me. I think it's to do with what version of Android I'm running (2.1 AOSP build)
i installed succesfully the .apk posted before but it say trial expired.
is there a get-around? tnx

Yeah, you need the new one that was released on 6/1 - but no one's posted it yet
It's here.
Doesnt Ignition require that you are a ignition-subscriber to work?

I paid £29 for this on the iPhone, was amazed it appeared to be "free" on Android. Bear in mind that with this app and LMI free services you can remote control loads of PCs/Macs etc via phone or web browser. I've got it set up with all the relatives computers for remote support, as well as my home server.
Seems kind of reasonable to pay for the convenience of the app: I'll buy this when it comes out, it's that good.

Yeah I have 9 computers in my LMI botnet myself :-D
But Ignition for pc is subscription based at 30-50usd a month I believe.
I cant justify paying that each month, if I did support through LMI for a living I would definitely consider it
But even if I wanted to pay I wouldnt be able to because google are being lazy bums in my country :'(

I'm usign their free service. Gives you ability to use a web browser on any PC anywhere to control all your machines, as well as use the Android app. You only pay for features like remote file sharing/printing etc.
My HTC desire can download this app but cannot install it. The app the site before could be installed but trial has expired.
It installed, but when I try to open, it says "trial period expired" and closes..
Edit: Never mind.. didn't look at the dates on the posts.
well i can't find paid applications ... how to get them ?
Either the laws or google is being retarded in your country
Im in Denmark and we cant buy apps either
And some free are missing too

Worked brilliantly, many thanks - not that impressed with Nook though, oh well
Question though, now I've got market enabler installed what other cool apps are available to me now that aren't in the UK market?
Many thanks
Bryan
Hello, can nay one upload this app ,
i can't get it on the market
Have any of you guys tried this service? To my understanding this has live streaming tv. You have the option to watch it live or download it. They have a 3 day trial which I think I will try.
Can you guys think of any similar programs I can use on a non rooted 2.2?

Only other one I can think of is Jetflicks TV in the Market. Still requires a monthly subscription though, and Bitbop seems to have more content.
Hey everyone,
Here is an unlocked version of the official Last.fm app for Android. This version should let you listen to the radio if you are outside of the US, UK and Germany and are a paid subscriber.
This is only for paid subscribers outside of the US, UK and Germany.
This is not for listening to the radio without paying for a subscription.
If you have the official version of the Last.fm app (from the market) you must uninstall it manually before installing this version!
Latest Version:
LastFm-1.9.9.1u.apk
Older Versions:
LastFm-1.9.7u.apk
LastFm-1.9.6u.apk
LastFm-1.9.5u.apk
LastFm-1.9.4u.apk
LastFm-1.9.2u.apk
LastFm-1.9.1u.apk
LastFm-1.9.0u.apk
LastFm-1.8.4u.apk
LastFm-1.8.3u.apk
LastFm-1.8.2u.apk
LastFm-1.8.1u.apk
LastFm-1.8.0u.apk
LastFm-1.7.8u.apk
LastFm-1.7.7u.apk
LastFm-1.7.6u.apk
LastFm-1.7.5u.apk
LastFm-1.7.3u.apk
LastFm-1.7.2u.apk
LastFm-1.7.1u.apk
Usually I post this to the official Last.fm forums but they seem to not like that I'm doing this...

LastFm-1.7.5u.apk at goo.gl/X6okZ (I would have made this a real link but I don't seem to have permission )

Great to hear that you unlocked. But i guess it's not legal in these forums as well.
It's perfectly legal. It says so in the license. They just don't like it.

Why should I use so stupid application that wants to create a login? It's a lot of other, perhaps TuneIn Radio is absolutely great... And he can play radio stations from around the world...

Well, then you miss the point of last.fm, why buy a DVD player if you have a TV? ;-)
Anyhow, it doesn't work for me (in Sweden).. luckily the older versions still work well, like 1.6.6..

Okay. Then it is as I expected. If you have a paid subscription then it will let you use the radio. It can't bypass getting the subscription it just lets you bypass the restriction on listening to the radio with a subscription outside of the US, UK and Germany.

What part of this isn't working? Do you have a paid subscription? This version is only going to work if you have a paid subscription.

The app is available under GPL version 3. It is perfectly fine. They may not like the modifications made but the GPL says I can make them.
Is there a chance for version 1.7.6u as well?
Thanks
