Yes. Or you can use my explained Theron.
It backs up your apps with data with data.
Like angry birds + your saved data!!

Its only use full to use before and after you data wipe

I bought it because I wanted to be up and running quickly after flashing a rom and it's really good. Never had a problem with it. Just be sure to read the article posted by Naa Laa and understand how it works before playing with it.

Thank you kindly my people

I'm not sure if its just me but the recently added Nexus S 4g section is not showing up on the XDA app.
Anyone knows why?

[Q] Old XDA user, newbie in Android, just 2 days

Hello All;
OK, I rooted my infuse, 2.2.1, i997uckd5, in updates i have one waiting, if i do it, it will loose something? like sim unlock or future custom rom ?
Sorry to ask this but I been reading a lot and my brain was damaged, old iphone user lol
i used the search...
thanks!
I wouldn't bother with the update and just flash one of the custom roms, they are based on newest update and there is even a gingerbread rom now...
Good luck.
Sent from my Samsung Infuse 4G
I don't know about sim unlock but it will update you to ucke3. I was never on that for long as I rooted and flashed Infused rom shortly after updating and haven't looked back since. Hope this helps.
As far as sim unlocking is concerned that's more or less a permanent change. Rooting, wiping, flashing, unbricking, etc. Won't undo it.

Thank You, I will try the gingerbread before doing any upgrade from Att

NS4G - Downloads not working.

I do all my downloading ROMS straight from my phone because I find it easier. But a while back I tried to download a kernal from the xda app and from tapatalk. All I get now when trying to download files on my phone is download unsuccessful. What's weird is I can download files from different places like images from the internet...but not anything else. It's really annoying now. Also before anyone ask, yes I have third party apps download checked. Any ideas would be verrrrry helpful. Thanks in advance.

I'm using V2 on my i9020A and loving it. I flashed Koush's 1st rom too but it didn't have wifi 3g or SMS I also flashed koushs second release and everything except camcorder works but the SMS apk he added was off (the icon is too big) or maybe I should say that its bigger than the rest of the icons. All in all I'd say that V2 is the most stable. But Koush is a hell of a dev so I'd say his will be looking good in the next couple releases

The Nexus S 4G is a CDMA fone. CDMA fones do not use sim cards. Also boost does not take out side esn's so to get it on boost u need to change the esn(its illegal). But Google is ur friend!

Because its like IMEI, you could use it to get past blocks, or in the case of esn, use it on another network that only allows there devices on it
