Official xda app NO NS4G section? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm not sure if its just me but the recently added Nexus S 4g section is not showing up on the XDA app.
Anyone knows why?

Its a way for either NOOBs to get their posts noticed sooner or for veterans to get a post noticed after a few days with no answer!.
Basically putting the post back on top of the others!

Screen shot app

Ok I was reading online and it says gingerbread has the ability to do screen shots with the correct app and no need to root. Anyone have a app like this? Thanks
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
ive seen that some people claim the app "shoot me" worked for them on a non rooted phone but I personally cant confirm i'm rooted. but the app is free in the market. try it out

No go on that app. Anyone else have ideas.

Shoot me works but it is a pain IMO. You can still get a screenshot from the SDK if you truly don't want to root. Any reason why you are not rooting?
Gingerbread has this feature built in. No need for any additional apps. Hold PWR and the Home button. You'll get a notification stating "screenshot saved to Camera shots". It saves it directly to the DCIM folder on your SD Card

Not all gingerbread roms have that feature

I use no root screenshot from the market. It can be a pain however works fine on 2.3.3 stock Rom no root
Mods please delete

Well I'm running vu 1.29 which is 2.3.3 and it has this functionality. The ota was 2.3.3 so I'd assume everyone should have it. Don't know why you'd be running an outdated version

I think he's asking to have his post deleted. I mistakingly post in the wrong thread sometimes, or submit a post that was just posted right before mine, in which case I'll replace the text asking the mods to delete the post.

If you really must know, I was trying to edit my first post in this thread. Instead I made a second post of the original comment with corrections.

I'm using V2 on my i9020A and loving it. I flashed Koush's 1st rom too but it didn't have wifi 3g or SMS I also flashed koushs second release and everything except camcorder works but the SMS apk he added was off (the icon is too big) or maybe I should say that its bigger than the rest of the icons. All in all I'd say that V2 is the most stable. But Koush is a hell of a dev so I'd say his will be looking good in the next couple releases

FC On MyPhone

I am getting lots of FC's on different apps on the phone, sometimes market force closes or dialer. Phone is running stock gb 2.3.7 .
Phone was already replaced twice may be its a bad batch of phones. Had a evo before never had FC's on the phone, may be HTC does better job on phones than Sammy
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using XDA App
What phone are you using? This phone has 2.3.6 not 2.3.7
Fix permissions or a wipe doesn't help?

AT&T visual voicemail 2.7.1.57 3/19/14?

I have an older version side loaded but can't update the app in the play store because I have a Nexus 5. Does anyone have the new .apk that was released to the play store on 3/19/14? The new version is 2.7.1.57.
Much appreciated!
Never mind as I used an .apk extractor and was successful. For anyone that wants it I have attached the file.
thanks!

Thank you! I did a search all last night for "2.7.2.1" and it seemed to just pull up a bunch of roms but thanks for your assistance! :good:
Updated APK from the recent July 2nd ATT Visual Voicemail Update. Pulled the APK from my wife's Moto X. Installed perfectly on my N5. Enjoy!
Edit: Version 2.8.2.21 (forgot to mention that.)
I wonder if this would work on other carriers?

Probably won't. When opening the app it dials the ATT voicemail to begin the setup process.
Dam. That sucks. To bad it can't be modified to dial a different number.

If anyone needs the latest APK of the visual voicemail app I've pulled it and started a new thread with it and previous versions. Can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/app-att-visual-voicemail-version-t2872614
