[Q] TB and new radio files problem - General Questions and Answers

I have, several times, updated my radio files using the latest PG05IMG.zip found elsewhere in XDA. HBoot says that they are successfully update as MDMK9 and RADIO_V2. However, software number is 2.11.605.5, Android # 2.3.4 and HTC Sense 3.5, Bashband version 1.48.00.0932w_3,0.01.78.0916w_3.
Build number InfectedROM Eternity (NIGHTLY)
In other words, I can't get from 605.5 to 605.9. What am I missing? What am I screwing up? I rooted with Revolt a long time ago.
Thanks to any help,
Ron

Android version 2.3.4
HTC Sense version 3.0

htc-kernel(a)and18-2 #1
Radio 10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M
Build 1.72.401.1 CL158123 release keys
WebKit/533.1
Telenor Norway
I unlocked the phone the official HTC way.
Everything else seem to be working just fine. Any help appreciated!
usually it got problem witk kernal. better check back .
Ok, thanks, I'll see if I can find out anything in that department.
Finally managed to get the mess cleaned up. After fiddling around with revolutionary for ages, I got the phone S-OFF'd. I think uninstalling HTC Sync and previous drivers, then installing new ones, were the key to success here.
Flashed the newest insert coin ROM with the built in kernel and behold!: wifi!

Help with T-Mobile ICS

Hi,
I've recently had to replace my phone with another SENSATION 4G (bought second-hand, but new). I was originally running an older version of ARHD Gingerbread on my old SENSATION 4G and it was working great. The new phone came with a stock GB, so I decided to go ahead and initiate the ICS OTA update for my phone, but somehow in the middle, it failed. So what happened is that I corrupted my stock ROM and at the same time never had a chance to make a Nandroid backup. I then downloaded ARHD 6.7 ICS and sucessfully installed the custom ROM (followed all procedures to make sure my firmware and radio is updated), BUT everytime I rebooted into first boot, the screen would freeze at the Beats Audio logo (even tried leaving it on for 30min). I then tried different Sense-based ROMs (Elegancia, Dark Forest, original ICS RRU etc) but every time, it would hang at the boot screen. I thought my phone was bricked, but to my surprise, I was able to install smaller AOSP & AOKP based ROMs, like CM9 and Touchcream 2.1, and successfully boot and use them. I really want to be able to use Revolution HD roms to take advantage of my wifi calling, but now just cannot. I'm not totally new to this, as I've just upgraded my sister's Sensation 4G with ARHD 6.7 w/o any problems. I still don't understand why this is happening to my particular phone. Please let me know if you may have a hint of what the problem could be (could the failed OTA ICS update the root of my problem?). Thanks all.
flash a ICS RUU and see
here is the TMOUS ics ruu click me

Those are the software versions of the ROMs. The idea in that thread is that you flash the file relevant to the version number. Custom ROMs for SENSE are usually built off of an original "stock" version of HTC sense. HTC Sense has gone through some small tweaks etc over time (usually to promote stability). The Custom ROMs threads will normally state what version they built their ROM off of.
You should be able to see this number when you check "About Phone" in settings. it may have more numbers after it ie 2.31xxxx
However, that thread hasn't been updated recently. Some HTC ROMs and Custom ROMS are 2.35 or even 2.4. If you attempt to flash those camera files at a higher ROM version, just make sure you do a NANDROID backup first, just in case you need to go back and restore.

[Q] Failure to install custom ROM or RUU

Hey all! This is my first post here since i got my htc one S 2 days ago. I have read quite a bit on how to install custom roms and everything.
The very first ROM i installed was the venom viperOneS OTA 2.1.0 and it ran well until i noticed that my camera was not working. Not even through other apps that require camera. All it says is that the camera is unavailable and shuts down the apps. I tried dozens of things to fix the camera, but no luck. Then realised that my microphone didn't work and i couldn't call anybody.
I decided to get my phone back to stock, but it seems to be an extremely difficult process. I downloaded loads of RUU files (including the newest RUU Ville U JB 45) and after re-locking the phone, and running the .exe file i always get an error after its trying to change the signatures saying that this is not the right file for my phone. (When i press 'update' in the installed the current version is blank, not sure if this means anything).
Then i tried an older viperOneS OTA and was left with a bootloop.
Could somebody please help me out on how to get my phone to stock version?
And before you ask if i've wiped my phone before any ROM installation - i have multiple times.
Thank you in advance.

[Q] Need help with updating

It's been a very long time since I last updated my HTC One S, and recently I was going to do an update. I'm not quite sure where to start because I still have my old roms and recovery flashed. I tried searching through various forums but it seems like most of the posts are at least updated to a more recent HBoot. I'm a complete noob when it comes to custom flashing roms and whatnot and was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction of what order to update my phone in.
As for my phone's versions:
HBoot 1.06.0000
Android Version 4.0.3
HTC Sense 4.0
ROM: LeeDrOiD One Supreve V2.0.0
Recovery: ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.1.5
Kernel: Stock as far as I know
Any help is appreciated! And please let me know if additional information is required.
