Why is this posted in a G2X forum if you have a Dell Streak. The build.props would have almost nothing in common.
Need some nnfo of of it to fake the device

What is it you are trying to fake and why? Market issues?
ro.product.model=LG-P999
ro.product.brand=lge
ro.product.name=lge_star
ro.product.device=p999
This should be what you need. Edit your build.prop in Root Explorer. If you need more, let me know.

If you are wanting it for market issues you need the build fingerprint. That is what the market uses to detect what rom you are using.
Yeah I know what it does just needed to know exactly what is put in there

I don't know if this is possible nor have any idea of how to do it but I was thinking is there any way to make Google think you have a xoom for a short time on your rooted phone to get a music beta invite?

Replace your Build Prop with the one from a XOOM. Lol jk, that'll mess up your phone.
So no ideas!

- Attach XOOM build.prop

Xoom bp:
- Have a XOOM user do the same successfully

- Ask for someone to post it here for you
Just a note: I have a XOOM and still have not received an invite so your mileage may vary even if you do trick the system. Best of luck!

I have created a rom or two I my time. Build.prop is all you need. End of discussion. I am not going to get in a pissing war over this.
Edit: I guess to say you have to edit it just bc the rom you are using may or may not have to be edited for whatever reason is what gets me. You could be telling someone to mess with a file that us not needed and could cause damage. I can tell from your answer you have a little experience with android, but I am assuming not enough to offer advice just yet. Just my opinion/observation. Please, grab one of my 6 or so roms and show me otherwise. I have one sense based, one aosp based and 4 or give captivate roms. I am open to a friendly debate. I guess you got me pissing now

I waSnt referring to just editing the default.xml. If you offered help on another topic and offered the wrong file it very well could end badly and I think you are aware of that.I was also referring to stepping on another devs toes and correcting him/her when the correction was not correct. I look out for each and every user. Just ask in any one of my threads. I am here for the user, nothing else! Should I assume you won't be using any of my roms now? You don't seem to like me very much

Any request for anything specific to tweaks or scripts.
My hope for this ROM is to bring Great aesthetics along with bleeding edge speed(Given how far I can push and still keep decent battery).
Proposed updates for 0.3
Audio Tweaks - more details after some testing.
Camera app
CPU app
Seeder 2.0.0
Edit ROMs change log to correspond to Uncapped version changes.
Planned devices for this ROM ATM.
HTC Evo Shift, HTC Evo 4G, HP Touchpad, Nexus S 4G, Nexus 7.
The reason why this limited list, because those are the devices I have at hand either mine or close family.

Usually you make the thread when the ROM is released. I think I read on here somewhere that there should be no more place holder threads made.

Just a hint, add some screenshots to the OP and also say what the Uncapped features are (special options and features that make this different from other ROMs) just trying to help you make it look more appealing.. You almost have to sell it lol. I would help more if I still had my Shift.
