I really like the automatic context menu that pops up when you select text in the stock ROM and some other ROMs like Dlev. I am running CyanogenMod now which doesn't have this feature. Is there a way to install this menu?

Ive added some widgets but cant change the settings. I hit the menu button but it gives me the settings for the whole phone. Like the stock widget. It worked on preivios build could it be the rom?
Im not exactly sure which widget(s) you mean. Are you stock rom, rooted stock or different rom.
Usually to change widget settings, tap on the widget so it opens, then hit menu for the options..
i enabled this somewhere, somehow, and for pete's sake i cannot figure out where in the menu this is.
currently running Viper rom.
does anyone know which menu toggles this annoying feature?
It's on the "developers option" on the stock room.
Hello!
I installed the latest nightly of cm11 which is offered in this forum. Before then i used the cm10.1-andromadus-rom. I had always good experience with the Nova Launcher, so i plan to stay with it. On cm10.1 i used to assign "Long-Press Menu Button" -> App Overview. I think I managed that through the Nova Launcher options. Obviously since cm11 (or kitkat? – i don’t know) there are similar options under "Settings -> device -> buttons". Now there are two problems:
1. Settings for buttons made in Nova Launcher arent’t considered, because they’re "overruled" by cm11 options.
2. In CM11 button settings there is no option for "App overview".
-> So, i can’t manage to get this function assigned to "Long-press menu button".
Does anyone have a solution?

I'm having the same problem--was wondering if you found a solution, or if anyone else had a suggestion. I'd like my menu (long press) to activate the notification window, but the CM11 button assignments overrule it. Very troublesome.
Thanks in advance.
So my Nexus 5 doesn't have the three-dot menu in chrome that lets you access incognito mode and history and settings and whatnot. I first noticed this when I installed PA rom but after factory wiping my Nexus and even upgrading to 4.4.3, Chrome still doesn't have the menu. My friend's N5 still has the menu key so I'm wondering is it because of some setting I did on my phone or is Chrome like that now?

I always use LMT launcher to open the Menu. Maybe PA ROM has a feature to show up the 3dots icon on the navbar.

Actually, I don't have PA on my phone anymore but Chrome still doesnt have the menu option.
EDIT: I had Pie control from GravityBox on the entire time with the software keys gone but as soon as I turned off Pie Control and turnen on the software keys again, Chrome has the 3-dot menu key. Is there a way I can keep the menu in Chrome while disabling the navkeys and using pie control?
EDIT2: I finally figured it out! I had to enable Force Overflow menu button in Misc. Tweaks in GravityBox.
Hi all,
When I open the settings on my lollipop device I seem to get a cut down version of the settings options (Menu's and menu options are missing, like accessibility, advanced audio setting, etc)
I know these options can be accessed because I somehow managed to get to the advanced audio settings using nova launcher (I cant remember how)
Is there an app or something like that I can download to open the standard setting app?
Thanks.
