Need a new screen

Hi
Please can anyone help I have dropped and smashed the screen on my HTC Desire does anyone know where I can buy a new screen from or of anywhere that can replace it cheap

It sounds a lot at first, but considering 3 parts altogether, I think it's reasonable. Glad you have a working unit in good shape again.

I dnt believe the antenna and microdrive was broken.. everyone who cracked their screen had been charged for those two things

Hello everyone! I'm new here as you can see...
So let's talk about my problem ... I have an Htc one S bought on hardware upgrade with screen digitizer broken..and now i want to replace it,how can I replace that?
Could you find me guys a videoguide for do that?

Looking for a digitizer too so I'm wondering if you had any luck. The directfix.com seems to be all out? Also nothing listed on ebay.

Anyone know if the tmobile screen/digitizer is swappable with the euro version screen?

Very probably, have seen nothing to indicate hardware differences except branding on the tmo front bezel. Check with seller

I have to replace only the Glass with digitizer ,not the super amoled screen

Cracked Screen & Broken LCD

Hey fellow HOX XDA'rs! Looking for some advice on ways to replace my phone or get a replacement phone through at&t. I've had it for 2 months but unfortunately dropped it on concrete and now screen is cracked and lcd no longer works. love the phone, anyone have any advice onto getting a replacement or getting it repaired would be appreciated!

You're kinda SOL unless you bought insurance. You're going to have to contact HTC and pay for a repair.

Buy lcd+digitizer on ebay and replace it..

Not true, Gunny Sir...My brother just bought a HOX with a cracked digitizer on ebay. He was able to purchase a new screen and digitizer and have it repaired at a local, reputable, PC shop for approximately 75 dollars (excluding digitizer and screen price of course).

hey joelszs, hows the quality on screen, is it the same as the oem? the only lcd + digitzer i see is the one from HK, was wondering is that the same one you got?

Well ok then I stand corrected.

I've always heard the quality of those ebay digitizers are sub-par.

Any AT&T Reps out there that can offer advice on getting a replacement HOX? =)

That's terrible! Almost as bad as our phone being made in China. Oh wait... It is. Just because stuff is from HK doesn't mean it's garbage.

I will get you that info a little later as it wasn't my phone but my brothers. Tried calling him just now but I think he's in the process of unlocking his phone.
Update: OEM parts purchased on ebay for 85.00 total. They will arrive on Monday and he'll haven them installed after.

Any update on this?

Now, I LOVE ebay and all, and have purchased a handfull of digitizers and lcd screen replacements from ebay for other phones. and have had no problems at all with em.
But isnt our OneX digitizer screen made from gorilla glass?
that would be my only concern about buying a replacement digitizer from china, is that the quality/durability will not be as good as it was before

My motherboard is dead and i thinking about buying "new" one,actually

What is yours opinion about manufacturer refurbished motherboards for Sensation,they should last for year-two?

Now i see that is motherboard for 4G Sensation and i have Sensation z710.

For what is second wire on 4g,for GPS?

You cant find a motherboard for your specific model z710 because i think thats the safest thing to do.

I was send email to seller,he says its z710 motherboard.
But i think that i will buy new Sensation,this repaired motherboard is 100$ with shipping while brand new HTC Sensation XE White is 196$ with free shipping on Ebay.

My lovely Butterfly :victory: fall on the street and the screen glass got broken from the down left side as you see the attached pics,
I contacted HTC for repairing they said it worth 220$ to repair the screen :crying: I was like what the ****
So I relied on myself and I found many websites providing supplies and parts for my phone, I will buy it and ship to where i'm living,
but I got a small question, is this part in the following link or the attached pic is the right part to replace my broken HTC screen ? I don't want
to buy the wrong part and btw my HTC Butterfly is X920D Taiwan made.

mine got broken too we are same model x920d lol got replaced not by HTC its order basis around 150$ just buy x920d because there are many variants of butterfly goodluck

nope buy full lcd because i thought mine got broken front glass but touch works so the technician advice to buy full lcd cost around 150$ due to the S-LCD so sensitive and easy to break the de-attached to the housing
