Hi frends .. can you please suggest me a gud Rom which gives you gud battery life? Pls

No good answer for you, because you must choose in relation to the features that you see available in a particular rom that you would find useful. Battery life, whether good or not, is subject to a lot of things, the main thing being how the individual user uses his/her phone.
There are plenty of great Roms to choose from. Just have to decide for yourself.

which one do you recommand?
I can't speak for all of them as I haven't tried them all. But I can submit that there have been some ongoing crash issues with Gingerclone. I'm running Clean Fusion currently. Only things I've had an issue with is one background (that is just as likely an issue with the background), and no forming groups within your contact list, but otherwise is running great.
Touch is the next one I would try going by what little I've heard. Sorry I can't be of much help.
Really, you're best bet might be just to try them for yourself and see which one you like best, as they all look and run a little differently, though obviously much better than the stock ROM. Just make sure you get a full rooted backup before you use something, so you know you're not going to lose anything.
~ The guide Yogi and I put together has links to the main ROMs.. possibly not Lighting though.
I used. Lighting , ginger n touchmiui, I like touchmiui the best then lighting , btw ginger n touchmiui are the same rom just different colors blue vs green n theme differently

seriously? another one of these?!?!
I see one of these like every week now
"Hey what's up? I'm new, what's a good ROM?"
You need to search before posting because this question has been asked a dozen times already.
You are cluttering up our forums with this garbage, if you wanna know what roms are good then try reading the threads on them or better yet flash them and see what you like, we only have a few
This is not facebook and we don't need you to start a new thread unless you have a legitimate reason like a question that HAS NOT beeen asked before, these threads are not wal posts and they bury the good information we have and make the forum difficult to navigate

Don't listen to him. Everyone (almost) here are jerks. In my experience with the roms on here, I recommend you stay on stock with root. If you insist on a custom rom then I recommend probably GingerClone. Stock is the best thing for this phone for now. Anything else has to many issues after some time using them. No offense to the developers. They do what they can.

Such a broad question dude it truly depends on what your phone likes best a well as you. As some may prefer this ROM others may prefer another ROM.
Also depends on ROM,Kernel combo as well try em all and see what's best to your desires.

this. there's no way to answer this question. each phone/user are different. there are far too many options for rom/kernel combinations, not to mention all the variable settings to say which is best.

I can't believe how many threads like this there are....there have to be at least 50 with this exact same topic..
Running provision with matrix cfs 22......screen on 800/200 lazy....screen off governor wheatley....idle on great battery life and performance...

Like has been said, there are many options. Probably the most popular is cyanogenmod, but I've been hooked on Paranoid Android for awhile (which is based on CM). My advice for a beginner is to spend time in the forums and narrow it down to the popular ones. Subscribe to a few and get into the discussions so you get to know the lingo and issues people are having with the ROMs. Try several out to get a feel of what they have to offer and the features you find you enjoy having.
Once you are familiar with the features you prefer, you can narrow down your perfect fit by reading the OP of a ROM (for what it offers) and a few of the posts from the latest update date (for stability and what to expect). I'd suggest only after this stage that you get into trying different kernels with your ROM. The kernel is like changing engines in your car...YMMV, and some will perform better than others on your specific device and ROM.
Hope this helps!

I have been using my brilliant sensation for a while...(with vipers rom)...and there are some issues out there...laggy,battery drains......if I am looking for stable and lagfree, which sense rom should I go for?It doesnt matter what sense version it is Do you guys have any recommendations?

It's always best to try them out for YOURSELF and then draw your own conclusion. Many people have all different opinions which might not reflect your own. The fun part is the experimentation.! You and you alone know what your looking for, and what will suit you best. We are so fortunate to have some really great roms to choose from. Please take my advice and head over to sensation android development site and read about the roms. If one catches your eye try it out. Always make your androids backup so you can easily change back to what your running now if you don't like the Rom, or run into any issues . Read each change log. The developers are very honest about what is working and what is not working so you won't have any surprises. This really is the best way to find a ROM that suits your needs. It's always best to try out SEVERAL, then form your own opinions. You are really short changing yourself if you only go by others opinions. So shop around, read change logs, read about the different roms and try them out for YOURSELF. You will be much happier with your own opinions. I wish you the best and happy flashing! I'm sure you will find exactly what suits you best by experimenting. Best of luck and have fun with it!

most of these threads are using 2 words in the thread title
best rom
nevermind
go to dev section and check some of them
I can recommend you the HyperNonSense Rom. Really the best one I used so far.
The best Rom is the one you find in the Dev section that you like the most.

Hi, I highly recommend you try several ROMs out for yourself and see what suits you the best. You are really selling yourself short if you just go by others recommendations, because we all have different likes, dislikes, and needs. I personally run DKOS tweaked version.however you really should try out many and see which suits YOU best

Yeah you definitely can't do a "best of" thread. Sorry friend this one will have to be on you just keep testing.
