Hello, I'm rooted my brother inlaw's EVO Shift and now, I'm stuck on the HTC splash screen.
I had TWRP 2.0 installed, but didn't like it so I tried installing TWRP 1.1.1 but now I'm stuck on the HTC splash screen.
I'm S-OFF and HBOOT 0.93.2001
What do I do?
More info on situation:
So basically, the last PG06IMG.zip is the TWRP 1.1.1 recovery. Every time I reboot the bootloader, it keeps on scanning and choosing this image.
I do have a nandroid when it was originally TWRP 2.0 but now I can't get out of the splash screen! It's like an endless loop of updating...splash screen....updating, then splash screen again.
Please, can somebody help?
I've tried pushing the file using ADB but I keep getting an error that the system is read-only....sigh...
Try this. Remove the MicroSD card from your phone and delete (or change the name of) the PG06IMG on your PC by using an adapter, card reader, etc. Then put it back in the phone and boot it up.
Okay, thanks for replying anyhow...that's what I ended up doing and I was able to boot into recovery and install cm7.

I just flashed the Android Revolution 3.3 ROM and a theme associated with the ROM. I went to reboot and now whenever I reboot I get frozen on the lock screen. I've tried everything I could think of. Removed the battery. Tried again. Tried to go into recovery mode, and all I get is a black screen. What is going on. I can enter the HBOOT menu but that's about it. If anybody could provide any help it would be greatly appreciated. I have to catch a plan is abut 3 hours and I don't wanna leave my phone behind. Woe is me.
Are you getting the white HTC screen and then a fade to black in recovery? If that is the case you might want to look at the fix for CWM using ENG S-off.

When I click recovery I do get the fade. I have ENG S-off on this phone but is it possible to do the fix with access only to HBOOT? I can't get past the splash screen otherwise.
Download a rom, rename it to PD98IMG.zip
Put it on your sd card via the PC (hope you have a Micro SD adapter)
Then flash it in hboot.
You can still copy files to the SD card through recovery. No need for a micro SD adaptor.
While in Recovery, go to mounts and storage and select mount USB storage and it'll show up on your computer. Make sure your USB cord is plugged in before you hit Mount USB storage.

It loads the zip, but then what do I do? Reboot into recovery? Power down the phone?

Follow the instructions. Press volume up I believe, then power when it's done. The instructions are on the screen

Tried rebooting after it loaded the .zip. Same thing happened. Stuck on the white HTC splash screen. What to do now.

Before rebooting did you press volume up and watch it extract?

Most likely you don't have ENG S-off, otherwise you wouldn't have a black screen trying to get into recovery. Did you make a nandroid before you tried flashing the theme?
When the PD98IMG loads a blue bar in the top left indicated progress. It finishes. Then it parses. Then it returns me to the hboot menu.
I did not make a nandroid back up, I've never used nandroid. I really don't understand what happened. I've flashed at least half a dozen roms over the past week or two and never any trouble. Still stuck on the white screen.
I was trying to load a new rom, i cleared cache and when installing the zip and installed the wrong zip and reboot by accident using clockwork. Now im stuck on the cm7 splash screen, it keeps playing over and over...anyway of recovering or getting back to cwm
Pull the battery and reinstall it. Before you turn it back on hold volume down, don't let go, then push and hold power.

that takes me to the bootloader
You should be able to now get back into recovery and either reflash a correct rom or restore a nandroid backup.
I deleted the pg file off my SD and was able to get to recovery, thanks
After canceling a flash of Sick Sense, my One x wont boot now. I would boot into bootloader and hit recovery and twrp splashscreen shows for a split second, then reboots to htc splashscreen, staying like that forever. What should I do? Fastboot install another recovery?

Looks like you are unlocked ... so try to boot into "bootloader" and reflash recovery ...
If nothing helps ... relock bootloader and flash RUU ...
Boot into the bootloader
Flash TWRP again (must be TWRP as CWM does not have USB mount yet)
Boot into TWRP
Mount USB
Transfer your ROM of choice onto your phone
Unmount USB
Do a factory reset from TWRP
Flash the .zip
Reboot and hope for the best
If that doesn't work then you could just run the RUU from fastboot.
Yea I was out and about with no internet just my phone me and my laptop lol. What I ended up having to do was relock and ruu back to 1.85. Thanks for the help guys. Now I hope I can still reunlock lol

What happened earlier was that, even though I was able to get and boot into cwm, the sd card got unmounted somehow so I couldn't flash or restore anything.

AT&T HOX Stuck in Boot Loop after trying to flash a rom using Flash Image GUI
First of all thank you to everyone who is willing to help me out. I apologize if I missed the answer I'm looking for. Here is what's going on:
I successfully rooted my HTC One X (At&T) using TWRP a couple days ago. I created two backups in TWRP, one before rooting and one after. I then tried to install viperx 3.3.1 using Flash Image GUI from the playtstore and after the install finished I am not stuck in a boot loop on the screen that says "HTC quietly brilliant" and has the disclaimer written in red. I turned my phone off and rebooted holding the power button and volume down button and tried to do a restore of one my backups in TWRP. However I am still stuck in a boot loop. I tried restoring to the other backup also and still in a boot loop. I tried wiping the cache, Dalvik Cache, and System and then rebooting but same thing. I would appreciate any help at all. Thank you an advance for your time.
You have to flash the boot img of your backups...but just flash viper and flash the boot img
Whoa whoa whoa whoa... we don't have viper 3.3... he just released 3.2 today... sooooo it looks like you tried to flash the international version of viper

Hey guys,
Not sure what I did wrong. I was flashing from an AOSP rom to Android Revolution Rom and it went through Aroma successfully but now stuck at HTC boot screen. If I boot into fastboot it automatically loads hboot and of course I still have an 0b6 img so it immediately starts to load that. I can't shut down, have to do hard reset where the cycle repeats.
If I leave it at the boot screen long enough the screen goes blank.
Help?

You can pop out your sd card. Boot to recovery and pop it back in the second you select recovery.
