Buy a new battery 2600 mAh or 3000 mAh.

Maybe i will buy laiter. But what about program

ive used both juice defender and green power battery saver. both are decent in my experience. im currently on green power and i get an additional hour or two which lasts me a full day of rigorous phone use

I instaled Battery booster and my battery now was alive for maybe 30h~ . i didnt use very much my phone but still, its awesome. Because usualy my battery drains out in 10h~ or less. Maybe its because i changed rom, from acura rom to thiaz and raized battery stats. but now my battery is realy better. I instaled ram optimizer too.

juice defender ultimate in extreme mode is the better solution! My stock battery after 2 days is still alive!

I have the same and i can't keep it for 2 days, what do you do?

Just use power max (best battery saver period) and install an auto killer and you will see a major boost in battery. Plus, install fast reboot and set it to where it works when screen turns off and on

Battery saving tips

Thought this might help. Please share your tips.
1. Underclock and undervolt your cpu. 1.5 is not needed for every day use. Use system tuner free from market.
2. Set screen off profile lower in system tuner settings.
3. Use juice defender to manage connections whilst screen off. Free from the market.
4. Use watchdog to keep an eye on any mis-behaving apps using too much power. Free from the market
5. Turn off auto brightness. Manage it your self. Most of the time indoors you can have it on lowest setting.
6. Don't charge your battery all the time let it run down to like 30% then recharge.
7. Don't use auto task killers
I've tried most roms and kernals.
My best combo for battery use is
InsertCoin latest with bricked 1.4 and cam fix.
I underclock @ 1.15 and undervolt @-100mV
Battery stats are difficult to report accurately but I use 1% whilst in standby for 2-3 hours

Jeez It's only 3 apps and they run pretty minimally ....... The other 100+ I have installed don't affect my battery either, juice saves about an extra 30% and watchdog let's me know if any apps are Misbehaving. Underclock and undervolt save me loads of battery, don't fancy doing it via script
Could make it 4
Autostarts is a good one it prevents apps from starting unnecessarily

Ah, thanks - that's actually a good explanation.
I will remove the android task killer, but how do you deal with crashed apps... e.g. maps? You can't kill them with the taskmanager, can you?
I have advanced task killer installed with autokill turned off so that I can kill apps as and when I need, apps rarely crash tho....

Well, I don't know if it was just the version of the latest map app, but in fact it crashed on my phone once or twice a day while using the cache-only mode. Anyway, I think we are getting off topic here.
Which watchdog are you using? There's a few in the market

i use the GreenPower apps.
in premium version you have the night mode and can shut off wifi and 2/3/4g.
it saves me about a day of battery.
also i set it up to turn on mobilde data only every 15 minutes for 1 minute to sync data.
works great for me

As far as I am familiar with Li-Ion batteries, that would accomplish nothing... Li-Ion batteries are full at 4.2mV, end of story... Everything you do after that is just voodoo
All you can do is calibrate your system to make the most use of your battery... But Li-Ion batteries are pretty much self-controlled, and self-preserved... They like being charged often, they don't like being too low, they don't like being too full, they like the working atmosphere of the middle range...
Also, they don't mind working while they're being charged

4200mV or 4.2V but yes that is accurate. Allowing the battery to go through full cycles when installing new ROMs helps your batterystats.bin though.

Calibration doesn't improve battery life, it just increases the accuracy of the battery %age detection.
Check Use only 2G networks if you don't have a data plan.
I would suggest getting another battery on ebay, they cost around $3 and are almost as good as stock ones.
At least here in Brazil, with the p920H optimus 3d, there's a thing u can do that improve battery a lot.
Root your phone and remove Remote Call. This program dont let the phone sleep and consumes like 50% of the battery from my tests.

What is the battery life of supercharged rom compared to stock?

What's the battery life of supercharged compared to the stock rom? I looked through all the pages but there was no clear answer. Would be nice if everyone who has the supercharged rom could share their battery life experience.
I want to do the supercharged thing but I don't want to do it if the battery life decreases compared to the stock rom. Currently running rooted stock.
Thanks in advance.
I have supercharged v4 and the battery life isn't terrible. But mine is overclocked to 1222.if I use it all day and quite a bit.lol. i have about 25% at the end of the day.

Oh ok thanks for the feedback, but how does it compare to when you had the stock rom? Does it last about the same amount?
Actually. I think the stock battery lasts a little longer but its not really noticeable. Supercharged rom is better i think. Its snappier! Cant wait for v5!
Personally I have actually been getting better life with the Supercharged ROM. I use my phone modertly during the day. It's been almost 16 hours and at 62%!!

I get close to stock battery life with SC4. My biggest killer is the screen, which I keep on auto brightness...if I turn down the brightness, I can get some SICK battery life from this thing...but I have chargers everywhere so I prefer to let the phone manage the screen. Loving my phone right now!!!
really? Well idk then. im literally on it all day in hopes there is something new to flash! haha

Wow really? So the SC4 Rom at the lowest brightness would give awesome battery life? Better than stock at lowest? Because i have my stock rooted phone at the lowest brightness + 2g most of the time + Data connection off when not needed + JuiceDefender Ultimate to get the most out of my battery.

No, I have not been able to fully match the battery life of the stock ROM, mainly because SC4 is overclocked to 1122mhz. I am sure that I can throttle it down to 1000mhz and maybe get the same battery life, but whats the fun in that. I am enjoying the small boost in performance at the expense of a slight amount of battery life...not a big deal at all. Cannot wait till we get some custom kernels that are optimize.
I feel like I get better battery life with my A2 than I did with my A1...hard to tell since I didn't have both at the same time. My friends with other Android devices are always looking for a charger, while I always have plenty of juice.
The battery life is okay... I'd say that its about 10% worse. every hour or so of inactivity drains the battery by about 5-7% as opposed to stock which would be about 4-5%. If your really concerned about the battery though, you can get an extended battery for $25. horrible battery life

hi all i use a w8 and my battery life is just awful
sbout 1% every 30secs on use and 1% every 45 mins on standby ...it just sucks
- i use GDX rom
-rooted
-stock kernel
-use 360 launcher
thats it
my battery seems to be buggy cause sometimes it shows 64% and iwhen i restart it shows 67% ...any help?
I've read battery life has some to do with the rom and I just saw a post that says after flashing a from to wipe battery stats in recovery I'm looking that up now also I don't think a battery saving app would hurt I use juice defender but I'm a noob Im only telling you what I read so look into it to make sure
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I use juice defender too. I found that it helps a lot - doesn't matter if it was rooted or not, battery life improved a lot with the app.
hmm kay i think i will try defender ..but srlsly i dun get why it drains so fast ..i tried with 3 other roms but with no good
Try these steps below.
Lower down your Brightness
Set your Phone to Power Saving Mode
Turn off your Wifi when your not using it.
Download Power Saver App: Easy Battery Saver + Task Killer.
ermmmy phone don't have power save mode...it;s a rather old model ..and i never NEVER on wifi , bluetooth , 3G ,data , sync etc ...and i put brightness to lowest ( to save battery since i am in a crisis )
ok so i install juice defender ...and something weird is going on ...my battery never moves ..which is goo and wird .it's stuck at 7f 2or a hour s i restarted and it's at 65% for 2 hrs now is this a bug or is my phoe's battery life is insane?
Ya i use juice defender on extream then just ad the apps i want data and wifi for then i use white killer a root app killer and it frees up half my ram from crapware now all i need to get is titanium pro to freeze my crap ware after doing this my optimus thrill trill has probly 3 times the battery life and if your fermilure with this modle it really sucks juice. Alot better now.

still...my battery life is SHIIII
You mentioned your phone is an older model; the issue might be that your battery is wearing out. After so many cycles of charges/discharges they lose capacity. You might want to look for a low cost replacement battery if the mods you're trying for your phone aren't helping.

Are you using a battery saver?

I'm using Green Power for a while now but lately I have been thinking that it might not be needed anymore.
What are your thoughts and what are you using to save battery.
Personally, I think they're a placebo effect, but I never gone in depth to do any real comparisons so I could be wrong. And the M8 has a good enough battery to where I don't consider needing a battery saver.

I ran Qualcomm's Battery Guru app customized for our CPU on my Rezound and now my M8, but ultimately decided that I would just run in standard powersave mode. My kernel lets me undervolt and overclock, so I get decent battery life coupled with fairly good performance without ruining any other battery software.
I use the built in batterysave in CleanROM combined with ART. Great combination.
I use the built-in Power Saver, along with Greenify.

Same here. Greenify and wld are great. Very little resource use.

What ever for? [Imgur link, SFW; shows my battery stats this morning]
If I can get 20 hours to 30%, I can probably get 30 hours on a full charge. But I put my phone on the charger when I go to sleep. If I didn't, I'd be shooting for a 40 hour drain. That's kind of high expectations for a stock battery. Why not just charge it every time you go to bed?
I'm running the latest CleanROM in Dalvik mode, whatever kernel comes with it and zero battery saving apps. I do have the option ticked as you can see at the link where it cuts off your data when the screen is off (like Deep Sleep Battery Saver, and others). But the battery saver itself is off.
