Select install zip from sd card

Select Yes - Install update
Wait till the Installation is finish

Select Wipe cache partition
Select reboot system now

Same problem here. I thought I was doing something wrong.
I get to the lockscreen (the sliders seem a little off, like they aren't meant for FIT resolution) and then reboots.
Did you manage to fix your problem?
works for me but it is a bit laggy.

juz go to /systems & edit the build.prop file using root explorer.change all the gt-s5570 to gt-s5670
btw i gt a quadrant score of 1752 without OC
(Juz added a few tweaks here n der)

I just have Galaxy Fit device from Galaxy Fit [Shuvit] Lounge @ Kaskus
So now I can build the fully working CWM Recovery for Galaxy Fit device.
WARNING:
I take no support for RFS file system
So this Recovery will not work for Stock ROM or Custom ROM that using RFS file system.
Also this Recovery will not work for froyo baseband
For now I have no plan for working on Cyanogenmod ROM because i'm not yet have good internet connection.
Instruction:
-Download :beni_cwm-5_ext4_v2.tar
-Open S5570_Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.38.exe
-Place BENI_v1.0.ops on OPS tab
-Check the One Package Option
-Place beni_cwm-5_ext4_v2.tar on One Package tab
-Connect the device on Download Mode
-Press Start and wait for flashing process is finished

Backup is not working both on CM7 and FitDroidv2.0 ..i also tried it for stock roms but no luck!!

Hey guyz i am quite confused i am unable to flash Creed's rom on my fit! { don't know why }
..I tried flashing the ROM over CM7 and FitDroid but got stuck at the "CREED'S ROM" boot logo!..
I thought it might be because of the custom Roms (CM and FitDroid)...so..i flashed ddkq5 from odin then flashed Creed's ROM v1.4 via Cwm ( i have tried cwm v4 and cwmv5) but still the same case!...
Can someone provide with the actual method to flash Creed's rom v1.4 ?....

To all others who are not able to flash Creeds ROM ...namely, Gendows and Reikableu ..please flash v1.5 it installs without any problem whereas v1.4 gets stuck on boot logo!

3> let the creed 1.3 boot then shut down phone
3> go to recovery and wipe data/reset again
4> now flash CMW via odin

6> now install creed 1.4 via CMW

just skip it and wait for the 1.5 version

I think you should first upgrade to xxkq2 coz cm can be flashed only on xxkq2.After that flash flash the creeds rom in general method.

Hah...bro who told u that CM can be flashed only on kq2! ..I have flashed CM on almost all 2.3+ firmwares...and as far as flashing Creed's ROM on kq2 is concerned I tried flashing Creed's RoM on kq2 also but no luck! ..

Im talking about cwm 4.0.+ and later the cwm file wont be flashed on xxkpl and other versions iv tried it many times it can be flashed only on xxkq2 im talking
about clockwork mod recovery if u flash it in other roms the recovery mode wont display and it just gets stuck in boot logo.

Yup!...u can't install cwm 4.0+ on xxkpl but u can flash on other firmwares ..u can flash Cwm on deodexed xxkpl by vish though!

Why is that bro ? I haven't tried this. I just got woke up XD
anyway is the performance good? why does this rom reminds me of CyanogenMod 7? I know right though, the UI isn't that pleasing to the eye at all.
EDIT: Btw guys I thought this is a port for the Samsung Galaxy MINI ? They never mentioned it was also a port for the Galaxy FIT. Is it really working well on our device?

No...I first flashed Creed's ROM v1.5 ,cause u mentioned a 2.3.4 firmware!..
Noticed one bug"-
The clock is not available on the stataus bar! (Even though changing the settings in "CYANOGENMOD SETTINGS" !)

Okk...but tell me u want screenshots of which places (I mean theme Chooser,cyanogenmod settings,etc)..
Well I am attaching some screenshots.
one more bug is wherever it should be "GT S5670" (galaxy fit) it is "GT S5570" (galaxy mini) ..
Maybe because it was just a direct port with no major modifications..by they don't bother me!...I'm enjoying ..

Thanks a lot for the screenshots, can you post more anyway? by all areas I mean. and I was surprised to see " GT S5570 " not " GT S5670 ". at first I thought you were a Galaxy Mini user but then you mentioned it was a bug so yeah.. I think it's not a big deal but it can be mistaken sometime (I guess?).
so is there any other bugs except that ? 30 mins more and my download will be finish.. can't wait TT

No...did not faced any other bug (except that status bar clock which I mentioned above)...

Okay I see.. but why is it I cannot add my g-mail account? it keeps saying I can't because it cant connect to server or something similar. I am connected to my router and it has internet, I even tried on 3g and I could browse well but i couldn't add any of my gmail account. can anyone help ? :/

I flashed it with Creed's ROM v1.5 installed and the baseband was the XWKQ2 and it doesn't show the clock on the status bar at all.

Really...? Go to : CyanogenMod setting > Interface > Status Bar Tweaks > change the Clock Color
Hope it can work...

Okay that fixed the clock thing, but I can't still add any Gmail or email account.. I can't download anything from the Android Market... please help

I have ported CyanogenMod 9 from Galaxy Mini by TheWhisp to Galaxy Y. I will be needing beta testers so pm me if you want to be one of them. Reporting of bugs will be appreciated. I am using whitexp's CM9 as base.
OS Version : 4.0.4 :laugh:
Installation Guide
1. Open CWM
2. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
3. Go to mounts and storage
4. mount everything and go back
5. Install zip from sdcard
6. Select cm9_ported_v^^_totoro
7. After installation Install Savie's kernel given below

Tested! Over Stock Rom
First Boot No Luck To Start...
Second Boot Same...
Third Boot Reflashed kernel and rom mounted everything boot success but screen flickers for me....
How about white kernel???

To finish flickering change the build.prop and set
video.accelerate.hw=0

white kernel gives bootloop in CM9
9Is Camera, Bluetooth, Wifi, Network working..? and is this rom is pure CM9...?
Stop asking - start testing only way to know what is working and what no :3
the base of this rom is whitexp's cm9 build so bugs will be same as his !

I installed kernel savie, merruk, whitexp and does not leave the first screen.
shall be that the zip file that I downloaded?
because it installs the rom in seconds

Did you mount everything in mounts and storage before installing ?
