Can someone provide social network WIDGET from Galaxy Note? - Samsung Galaxy R i9103

I'm searching a good social network widged for the original launcher TW 4.0 of Galaxy R.
There are many social network widget in the market but only few can work with original launcher. I have tried Android Pro Widgets and Pure Messenger Widget but I don't like so much those.
I have notice that the Samsung Galaxy Note have a social network widget from Samsung and I'm searching it and if it possible to use it in Galaxy R.

[REQUEST] Samsung Galaxy S Widget for Nexus One

I was wondering if it would be possible to port the widgets from the Samsung Galaxy S over to the Nexus One?
If there is anyone that would be able to do this please let me know (wltnkyl at gmail), I would be very interested in using these widgets on my Nexus One.
**as .apk please since my Nexus is not rooted and would prefer not to root at this time**
Thank you.
same wishes here
most likely it's a no. 99% of the time nothing can be ported from a custom UI.
or not
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=709763
mm..i don't know..for me this is possible..
The launcher is ported fine..
certain, the social's widget no...because social hub is integrated in the rom, but watch and weather yes..
Was hoping to be able to use the news and weather one as it is the best I've seen. Would also like to use the contacts one, not sure about that one though as it might be tied into the custom contacts app.
If someone can get the news and weather to the Nexus One, as well as any others I would be very appreciative.
-also, downloaded and trying the Touchwiz launcher linked above, thanks for that. Just need widgets now!
edit: Installed the Touchwiz launcher ported by 'rolle3k' (great job), and it is working perfectly, no bugs that I have found yet. I recommend this to everyone out there that likes the look of the Touchwiz Android Launcher...

mini-app is a unique thing to the Galaxy Tab 2, so it would have to be developed as a mini-app.Right now, the only mini-apps that are available are the Samsung ones. because it is a proprietary of samsung (like the IR blaster) so the only thng you can do is port it. but it requires touch wiz ux frame work so the whole rom should be ported and it is a difficult thing.
It'ss impossible because it need Samsung's framework that' diferent from Android original (CM9 one)
Could always DL equivalent min apps and use something like sidebar launcher to launch them. Tiny apps has a few like floating apps like calc, notes, and music controls. Also their is floating browser, popcorn player, and many more.
Screen with sidebar launcher, and some floating apps running

[APP] Extra Touchwiz Widgets

Here are a few Samsung widgets that you can put in System/Apps and they will work on on Touchwiz ROMS. (I installed them on CleanROM, but didn't care for any other than the Samsung AP Mobile Widget).
1- Favorite Contacts from the Jellybean Leak (works in ICS)
2-Favorite Apps from the Jellybean Leak (works in ICS)
2-The other Samsung News Widget that uses AP Mobile instead of Yahoo News.
4-Buddies Now (This is the one they included on the Note, not the old Galaxy S one. It basically adds a square contact to your homescreen but unlike the stock ICS ones, it is twice as large. It also will use synced pics from FB)
Samsung made made a breakthrough with widget design when they integrated resizeable widgets in their TouchWiz interface on the Galaxy S II. Lucky for Galaxy Note users, they have some exclusive resizeable widgets as well! see more http://smgm.us/rxi
awesome, thanks!
Do I need to be rooted to install these? I tried to install a couple and it came back with "X Application not installed"
Thanks

Yes you need to be rooted. Download the apk then copy the apk and paste it in the /system/app folder then save and reboot
Dont thank/like/rep my posts or ill report you.
Cool I like the AP news better than yahoo. Thanks!
sweet thanks!! do you know how we can get the folder icons from jellybean's TW to the ICS TW?

[Q] native email widget - not magazine ux

Got the 12.2 yesterday and quickly decide Touchwiz had to go. I decide to use an alternate launcher and setup email and calendar widgets. Lo and behold...there is no native email widget anymore! What the heck is Samsung thinking? It doesn't exist in Touchwiz or any other launcher I've tried.
I really like the email client tweaks but not tw nor magazine ux. I can't believe Sammy removed the native widget and force you to use mag-ux to see email list on home screen. Root might help because emailwidget supposedly works with root but i haven't tried it yet. I'm trying to hold off rooting until we have some more root/rom options.
Any ideas or alternatives?
Personally I like keeping my email clients separate.
My ISP uses POP, for which I currently use Aqua.
I use stock Gmail app for Gmail.
For my exchange email at work I use Touchdown HD.
What other solutions and/or recommendations are there for native email and calendar widgets?? I am using Nova Launcher, so no Mag UX for me, and therefore no widgets for email and calendar.
I use EventFlow for my agenda and calendar.
Not sure about widgets for stock email application but perhaps Android Pro Widget ?
I'm using K-9, and really pleased with it. In fact, went back and installed it on my Note 2 and Xoom (which doesn't see much use anymore.)
This is indeed the worst surprise on this tablet. I had the habit to use the great email widget on my other Sansung tablets and phones and now I discover it is not available on the Note Pro.
I've switched to Aqua mail on the advice of someone in another thread and its widgets are perfect for me. Check it out.

Just got my 12.2 today and try to configure it like my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1... couldn't find the eMail (multi-account) widget...
I'm very disappointed that they remove this. I like to have it in my Homepage with my Google Calendar and Tasks manager (GTask).
Come on Sammy, put it back !

[APP] Galaxy Icon Themer - Add Icon Pack Support to TouchWiz

Hello Friends,
Just dropped by to share my app GALAXY ICON THEMER. As the name implies it is an icon themer for rooted Samsung Galaxy devices on TouchWiz ROMs. It would seem that some Samsung Galaxy devices have native built-in Icon Pack Theming support since Jelly Bean as discovered by @M_J_Nazari although supported icon packs are limited (barely exist) as it does not support popular icon packs from the Play Store. Curiously, I wondered if it was possible to enable support for Play Store icon packs (ADW, Nova, Apex, Go, Solo, etc.) and so with some testing, I was able to do so and made this app for convenience as the manual process would take like forever.
This is a beta release so expect some bugs/issues.
SUPPORTED DEVICES: most Samsung Galaxy devices on ROOTED TouchWiz ROMs {JellyBean 4.1.2 and above including Kitkat} although not sure which devices has complete native built-in theming engine/framework/code. The theming engine may be different between devices so there may be issues/problems to consider. This app has nothing to do with the way the theming engine works or coded.
DOWNLOAD below. Install. Install some icon packs from the Play Store (most icon packs but not all). Run the app, grant supersu permission and go De-TouchWizise your stock launcher. Effect for icon theming is ALMOST systemwide. Effect on stock launcher needs no reboot, just a launcher restart which is done by the app itself. Effect systemwide needs at least a soft reboot. ENJOY.
GET the PRO version - offers per app icon theming with ability to pick icons from gallery or custom icon sets.
I would appreciate feedback/suggestions.
thanks a lot. You are always awesome. working well on Note3 S5 port Rom.

It doesn't seem to be working for me on my Galaxy S5.
I gave the app root permission, then downloaded a bunch of themes. I can tap the themes, hit "OK" on the "Apply selected theme?" message, then I even get a "Theme Applied" toast message. But nothing changes on the stock Touchwiz Home launcher.
Awesome works great. Thank you

On pro version you would have "per app" icon control whether using custom photo from gallery or installed icon set. :good:
