I just got a bunch of nice backgrounds and i'd like a utility to cycle through them. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? i did a quick search but couldnt find anything on this forum.

thanks, im still looking through some of those links. but from my first impression it looks like those links provide programs to rotate the whole theme rather than just the background pic. Do you know if this is the case?

That's still searching for something that changes the entire theme, isn't it?
What I want is something to just change the wallpaper/background from a directory with many background images.
I tried searching google for "wm5 change backgrounds" but couldn't find what I was looking for. (my google skills suck)
Maybe I just don't understand how a theme changer could change my backgrounds for me.
Please advise.

I've my.HD2for a few weeks now and there's a few things id like to change but I lack the knowledge of how.
1)id like to move the slide to unlock to the bottom of the screen, and make it semi see through.
2)it would be nice to have the today screen a lot clearer is there a file I can adjust? to do so
im pretty good with PhotoShop would love to put my bit into the community

Right i've found the images for the Opera Startup screen, and the lock slider. But i can't find the graphics for the sense clock? where are they?
I'm not a good developer. I wish I could contribute in that respect. But I made a few wallpapers so I thought I could share this with you guys.
BTW, can anyone point me to a good lockscreen/wallpaper rotation app (my idea is to get a bunch of lockscreens and rotate them every time i turn on the phone)

Hi again. Here's the rest of them. Had to wait 5 minutes and post twice to get around the max 8 attachments They're all formatted so that they don't get blocked by the default SenseUI lock info bar. If you guys have a clear lockscreen for 2.1 ROMs (mainly DamageControl... does it matter them ROM, Android version, or base?)
If anyone is wondering, I just did this real quick in Photoshop - first find an image with vertical appeal (rotation is an option to achieve this), scale the height down to 455 pixels (image size), then crop the width (canvas size) to 320 pixels. Easy peasy.

you can use lockbot, just load your images onto lockbot and then you can have your lockscreen wallpapers plus either iphone, eclair, flan, type slider. and then you will see a new one everytime you unlock your phone. its doesnt always work for me lol. but it does most of the time.

I have just been using photos I put on my phone for background and lockscreens.....
Is there any easy way to recover a lockbot wallpaper from a nandroid backup I made before wiping and reflashing to DC? I obviously don't need Lockbot anymore now that I have the Eclair lockscreen, but I really miss the cool lockscreen glowing-droid image I used to have.
I guess I could reinstall Lockbot & redownload the wallpaper since it's still in my market list as a purchased app, but where would the wallpaper image itself be stored? Also, if anyone knows, are Android apps all totally self-contained universes, or could Lockbot screw up my now nicely-running phone in ways that would persist after uninstalling it (kind of like how you can smoke a brand new copy of Vista badly enough to need reinstallation by trying to install a 10 year old copy-protected game)?
The wallpaper should be on your SD card under .lockbot. That is where all themes are stored.

OK, so I switched to Lockbot and now I don't need to raise the pictures so high anymore. I remade the ones that are now too high and attached them. I also made a Flan-style theme in Lockbot called "MiniFlan" that's designed to show off wallpapers more than tell the time (the clock and date are really small). Attached is a preview of what it looks like. You can download it here:

Note: This theme contains a crapload of lockscreen pictures too. If you want to get just the lockscreens but not the theme, download the theme and look in the "bg" folder. You'll find almost all of the lockscreens I use right now. There are 69 of them and I love them all.
Err you know what, Lockbot is really not playing nice with my phone. I think I'll uninstall it soon.
Here are a few I collected around the web. Some are common ones but a few are unusual. I have quite a few more.

hello there, heres really hoping one of you smart guys fancy helping me and probably quiet a few other xda members out....
the task in hand is getting "antworks auto wallpaper changer" to work alongside CHT 1.8. heres what cookie had to say about it.......
I'm using a completely custom wallpaper setup, so any wallpaper changer that previously targeted Sense will not be compatible any more. They would have to be adapted. It's not really a big change: they would just have to input a different reg entry to set the wallpaper path. All the CHT wallpaper reg entries are in HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila and the they are Co0kie.Wall.****, where **** is the wallpaper type.

I wanted the new 7-plus or 7.7 tab wallpaper[similar to GS2 stock wallpaper] and i ultimately got it in different size&resolution.
Then i resized it to our stock wallpaper resolution-1200*1024 and here it is for you to enjoy it.
For best results, apply it through Quickpic.
