Sgp Neo hybrid case - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Hi, I bought this case when I had my black skyrocket. I returned the case because when the case was on I had trouble pressing the power button. Now I have the white one, and the power button feels a lot more popped out than the black SR. Should I get the Neo case? Its the only white case I have found so far besides the pop case by case-mate. But I don't like the pop case.
Any one have problems with the buttons on the Neo hybrid case by SGP? And any suggestions on a white case? Thanks and much appreciated l.

Found a great TPU case

I found what is probably (in my opinion) the best TPU case available for the Galaxy S / S 4G:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040IZ1B6
It is made of sturdy TPU material (not the cheap and soft gel material) and fits my 4G like a glove. It also has a semi-transparent bottom, so the Galaxy S logo can be seen. The sides are black. It covers the buttons, but it is still easy to operate them through the rubber material. Great case.

It's pretty good, it scratches and loses its shiny look, but not that much. Also the volume + power keys are hard to press and you won't be able to plug in earphones that don't have the thin connector (like the ones that came with the phone_)
Just got mine in the mail this morning. Love it so far. Head phones fit easily, the buttons push easy enough too. Nice find!
Also...for those of you that wanted to cover up the chrome bezel of the phone, this case will cover it nicely and give you the full black look. The semi-clear back is nice since it shows the gray back of the phone and the galaxy s logo.

It slips on and off really nice... My wife had a couple that were a pain, so I know where you'recoming from. This one is really nice though.

Taking off and putting on a TPU case is child's play compared to the Trident cases, lol. TPU cases slip right off. The first time I put on the Trident Aegis, I rebooted my phone 5 times! :x

Spigen New Hybrid or Slim Armor advice? Mem20 sale

So I've been rocking my Neo Hybrid satin silver for over 1 week now and so far been liking it.
If you are on the edge of getting this great case, my advice is to buy today!!! spigen is having 20% off for memorial day!
the code is mem20
I just ordered myself a metal slate one just for the heck of it.
I am not affiliated with them but have been a customer for 3 years going on now.
Does anyone use this case with Beats headphones? I'm afraid mine won't fit, and that's the only thing holding me back from buying this case.
Just got one, thanks.

I have both cases, I like the slim armor better than the neo hybrid even though the neo hybrid looks better, they dont work out too well for me, the neo hybrids speaker hole is too small and won't fit my a900x headphones and there is no way to make it wider yourself, the back speaker is also blocked when you place the phone on the table so sound will sound muffled. Its a good case if you have headphones with a small headphone jack and listen to music with your screen faced down. The slim armor has a raised area where the back speaker is so sound isn't bad when placed on the table. The headphone jack I was able to make wider by melting it with a hot metal rod. Works out pretty well. The only thing I don't like about it is it is a major fingerprint magnet (black one).
Both are good cases just make sure they will be able to suit your needs before buying, I got them when the whole 50 percent off on Amazon ordeal was happening and don't think these cases are worth retail price.
I also got the glass tr protector, the screen isn't raised on both cases when placed faced down due to the fact that the glasstr is thicker than regular screen protectors
Edit: got Dante red and metal slate for the hybrids incase anyones wondering. Also got the aluminum buttons, black gs4 with red case and button look super sexy. The metal slate not so much, looks kinda plain like a bigger iphone
i actually have both of these cases, but of course I am waiting for my S4 to arrive tomorrow. I can honestly say you can't go wrong either way, the quality of spigen cases is quite impressive. Personally I will go with the Neo Hybrid and give my brother the Slim Armor, but that's just me.
Just tested out with a pair of the beats pro studio and it fit. I'm assuming the beats line are all the same size so yours should fit. I'd say go for it, if all the cutouts work well for you then the hybrids rock

I like the neo hybrid better as I feel like the slim armors plastic part would get scratched each time I put my phone down. With neo hybrid I don't have to worry about it even when putting it down on the ground as the back part is a tpu material.

Yeah my slim armor is scratched up already. Never dropped it or anything, fingerprints also make it look dirty. I would use my neo hybrid but I can't use my headphones with them

Thanks for this. Just purchased
Thanks for the info on the discount. Just ordered the metal slate neo hybrid case and glas.tr screen protector with the aluminum home buttons.
This stuff is so expensive, I didn't think the Neo Hybrid was worth $30. But Just ordered the Neo Hybrid in Red and the Glas.tR because of the memorial day discount. Both for $51 + 10$ Shipping to Canada (Which sucks). But I saved 18$ because of the discount and tax saving.

Also I didn't realize the Aluminium home buttons were different from the ones that come with the Glas.tR. Can anybody confirm they're worth it?

I got those aluminum buttons and the ultra crystal with the bundle so both were half off on my first order with the satin silver neo hybrid. The aluminum buttons look very well made, though I'm not sure I'd rock them unless I used it with the glass screen protector, because it raises the button, with the glass protector it would be ok tho.
so far I'm using it with the Ultra Crystal because I like how it covers around the earpiece and does not add thickness to the phone.
I got the aluminum buttons just in case I want to rock them one day since they were half off with the bundle.
This sale I just got the metal slate neo hybrid thinking it might be more stealthy on my black 32gb S4. I had a white 16gb originally which I returned after the 32gb s4 came out only in black.
I think the buttons are worth it with the bundle, alone not so much...

You didn't get the buttons and protector as bundle? Should be $29.99 for the case, $6.99 for the protector, and $4.99 for the buttons, which comes out to $41.97. 20% of that is $8.39, so you should've payed $33.58?
Should I place a new order with the aluminum buttons and email them to cancel my previous one? Does this sound possible?

Case With It's Buttons That Stick Out/Not Flush?- Easier to push

I have a Nexus S and like how the physical buttons are not flush with. they stick out and are easy to push. With the S4, and all other new phones for that matter, the are all flush. I find it a burden to press the screen button on the side of the phone. What case would be good that would have it's own buttons stick out making them easy to push?
Not flush for me. Buttons stick out and click
I went to the Tmobile store and tried the S4, and although the buttons stick out a little, not enough and not compared to the Nexus S. I have carpel tunnel, so why this might not seem significant- for me it is and a case with it's own buttons that would overlap would help alot(if the case buttons protrude outward enough).
I believe the neo hybrid does, though check out some pictures/videos first.

Thanks! It's a toss up between Neo Hybrid and the Slim Amror Sigpen case. I like how the buttons are rubber and stick out more(which is a big help on my pained hands/fingers)on the Slim armor Case, but I like how the Neo Hybrid looks less bulky.
i actually think the neo hybrid buttons are better than the actual s4 buttons. they nailed that part of the case for sure. just wish it worked with more usb cables (without modding)

You'll find a few people who complained about the Slim Armor buttons when the case first came out if you go back in this forum. Since the buttons are made of TPU material they are a little squishy and take away from the clickiness of the original buttons. That was a dealbreaker for me. The Neo Hybrid buttons are hard plastic and feel similar (or better) than the actual buttons on the phone. They are a little easy to press, but that's my preference.
I have the Speck Candy Shell on my phone and the buttons are covered and stick out. They are MUCH easier to feel for and press than the phone without a case on.
The buttons on the "original" Samsung case are very nice as well... Like the way the phone feels and operates better with the case on.

Colors of Spigen Neo Hybrid!

OK so I'm getting my s4 in the next week or so. Its gonna be white. TPU cases (especially the cheap S cases on ebay) have never failed me, I have a slim tpu one on my current s3. I've been eyeing the neo hybrid spigen cases, but most photos are with black s3. I wanna see how they would look on a white one. Please post picks if u have em, and send any other suggestions my way. I don't want my phone to crack if dropped but I don't want no Defender either, just slim, great looking protection, and the more tpu involved the better
Thanks!

Looks ugly. Don't get it. Not sure what everyone's fascination with this boring case is, it's mind boggling.
I'd recommend the Verus Oneye case for a white phone. Specifically the white one.

To be completely honest my UAG is much more comfortable to hold than my Neo Hybrid. The Neo Hybrid keeps it really slim but adds quite a bit of width to the phone. UAG looks bulkier than it really is in pictures, it's actually surprisingly slim and provides a lot of protection.
The small charging/headphone port on the Neo Hybrid can be frustrating at times but not a huge deal. I personally think the Neo Hybrid is a beautiful case but I find myself using the UAG as my daily.

That doesn't look like the official neo hybrid. Yours is much too fat, so most likely a knock off. The one I have is much slimmer than that and almost fits flush with the camera on the back (directly from spigen). Even my knock off is slim like my real one. The frame on yours is way too thick also. And the mic hole on yours is too large
I do like my spigen Neo hybrid I have two official frames for it and one fake in green with another fake coming in blue. The things I don't like about the neo hybrid is the width it adds to your phone (makes it seem a little bulky) and the headphone jack is small, but I bought an adapter to make my shure se215 work with it. I hear the spigen slim armor case has a little better feel than the neo hybrid but I don't have any experience with it.
cases are totally subjective, and lmao that oneye or w/e it is is not much different than a Spigen, just bulkier which I don't want

It is a TPU case. I might be picking one up because I have only heard good things about them. I have matte black and its very good. Not too thick and very good buttons feedback (volume +/- and on/off).

I can attest to it's durability. I've probably dropped the phone ten times at least and nothing has happened. Either I'm lucky or this case is amazing.

Ive been thinking about this case. So the clear back is hard plastic and the black edges is TPU? How thick is the clear back? The computer renderings on their website makes the back appear too thick.
