4EXT Recovery now as a flashabel zip - HTC Desire S

Hey guys,
I´ve made two flashebel zip´s to flash the 4EXT Recovery Classic and Touch for the HTC Desire S via Clockworkmod or to upgrade old 4EXT Recovery´s.
The first one is the 4EXT Recovery 2.2.7 RC5.
And the second one is the 4EXT Recovery Touch 1.0.0.3 Beta 1.
4EXT Recovery Classic and Touch are not my inventions both are from madmaxx82
I´ve only made the flashebel zip!
Download at:
rapidshare.com/files/3178839520/4EXT_Recovery_2.2.7_RC5-signed.zip (Classic)
rapidshare.com/files/3885251586/4EXT_Recovery_Touch_1.0.0.3_Beta_1-signed.zip (Touch)
Have fun with it It´s only for the HTC Desire S (saga)
NOTE: You flash it on your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage on your device!

[Q] Probs installing Cyanogen Mod in HTC Desire.

Phone: Telus HTC Desire
Well, I followed the guide for the HTC Desire on the Cyanogen Mod website but I did not get all the way through, I have installed ClockworkMod Recovery in ROM Manager, but when I try to go into ClockworkMod Recovery to flash radio, my Desire restarts and shows a black screen with nothing on it, the phone is rooted though.
Any help ?
Sounds like you put the wrong recovery image on your phone. What image did you use? there are two that work good for Telus Desires. One is a custom 2.5.0.1 image and the other is 2.5.0.7. Look here for working images:

Can I recommend that you do not use ROM Manager for your Desire. RM work awesome for other devices but it is hit and miss with the Desire. I always reboot into recovery and flash manually.

[SOLVED][Q] Recovery Issue

I flashed the virtuous unity 2.37 ROM and currently having fun with it.
I used Rom Manager to flash it and so my recovery is CLOCKWORKMOD 5.0.2.0
I back up my original rom with clockwork , and now I want to use 4Ext as all people out there is using it, So what should i do?
Should i Install 4ext and remove Clockwork(uninstall ROM Manager)?
Is there any problem if i remove ROM Manager?
What if i want to revert to original rom, Should I flash the backup , installing ROM manager again?
Hey There ! Give a little time to answer all those questions. Thank You!
EDIT: Using 4Ext 2.16RC2 with ROM Manager [Fully Compatible]

Well I have 4Ext on my Desire S and also use Rom manager ,so can't see you needing to remove it if you install 4Ext

just install 4ext on top you dont have to uninstall clockwork app,the clockwork recovery will be overwritten with 4ext recovery
u need to download the 4ext recovery control app from the market. this willl then allow you to flash the 4ext recovery to your device.
this will still be compatable with rom manager if u select "manual flash overide" in rom managers settings.
please note that any backups made with the new clockwork mod will be in tar format and thus, any backups made with older versions of clockworkmod will not be compatable with the new version

I'd also suggest that you install this
S-OFF & root then install this 4EXT Recovery Control APK from Market will install 4EXT for you
Although that costs about 1 pound/dollar but is worth every penny/cent whatever you use
